CHAPTER - 26

I WOULD NEVER LOVE YOU,

BECAUSE THE FEAR OF LOSING YOU WOULD BE TOO STRONG....

After that you got ready for bed and got engulfed in the soft, fluffy covers of your bed.... Without any hint of what would happen to you in school the very next day...

You woke up the next day to an annoyed Jack shaking you, he pulled you up and started telling you your schedule grumpily. Just by the way his body was stiff, you knew something was wrong. You nodded before pulling him down patting the space beside you for him to sit on. He huffed and plopped his butt down next to you.

"What's wrong?", You asked as your maid handed you your toothbrush and towel. You walked towards your bathroom and started brushing with Jack trailing behind you.

"How did you know I was pissed?"

You gave him a 'are-you-kidding' look. "It's literally written all over your face..", You mumbled, words slurred due to the exceeding amount of toothpaste foam in your mouth.

"Yeah.. Well, I just had a shitty night. That's all", Jack groaned as he rubbed his temple in frustration.

"By the looks of it.. Doesn't seem like it was just a shitty night. Spill.", You said, foam flying outta your mouth earning a disgusted look from your Assistant.

"Well, you see... I kinda talked to the gym's manager and told him who 'Elena Clair' really is, And he obviously got a little bit too excited and started jumping up and down screaming on top of his lungs. Now the whole world knows that you attend that gym..... I had to stay up all night to take proper security measures for you to go there peacefully.... And...."

"What is it?"

"Well I kinda had a fight with Jen last night... We had to go on a date last night but couldn't because of, you know.... She was just mad for the fact that I do not spend quality time with her...", Jack replied before hanging his head, staring at the bathroom floor and you suddenly felt guilty. You quickly rinsed your mouth, handing your stuff to the maid and signaled her to leave you guys alone for a second.

"Hey... I'm sorry that you couldn't attend your date because of me...", You sincerely apologized before pulling your friend into a tight hug.

"It's not your fault okay? This is my job and I should be doing this...", Jack mumbled in your shoulder, hugging you tighter.

"Not at the cost of your and Jen's relationship... You are like my brother Jack, You should tell me if you are facing any kind of difficulties or problems.", You pulled away, smiling sweetly at your friend before patting his head. "I have to get ready now and you have to too!!", You exclaimed running to your closet to pick out something to wear. You picked out an outfit before placing it gently on the bed and holding one of your friend's hand in both of yours.

"I want you to take a leave from work today and spend it with Jen okay?"

"But-"

"No buts!! You guys are going on a date and that's final!! I'll take care of school for you..", You said before picking your clothes up and walking towards the bathroom, but you were stopped by a hand gently grabbing your wrist and pulling you into another embrace.

"Thank you so much Ell... You don't even know how much this means to me."

"Anything for you.... Now go and quickly get ready, You have a date to be at!!!", You screamed before winking and pushing him out of your bedroom, rushing towards the bathroom to get ready yourself.

You quickly packed your gym clothes in a bag and threw it in 'your' van as you rushed to have breakfast and sped away in your car. You reached school pretty early and decided to move around a bit before walking over to Jihyun, who spotted you with your phone smiling evilly down at it.

"Chatting with your boyfriend?", Jihyun asked from the distance as she walked towards you, trying to peek at the device.

"Nope! Don't have one.."

You linked arms with her before skipping over to class but stopped when a big crowd around the principal's office caught your attention.

"Is there a fight?", Jihyun asked you before jumping up and down to try to get a view of what was happening at the very front.

"I don't think so it's awfully quite for a fight.", You replied and shrugged before motioning her to ask one of the students.

"What's going on over there?", Jihyun questioned a student at the very back of the crowd who replied by saying, "You know someone over here is really trying to piss the new principal off... The person spray-painted an 'ed-lizard' next to her name 'Ms. Frill' on the principal office's wall... Man would she be angry? I mean it is pretty funny to be honest.."

You laughed at the idea, seriously it was hilarious. You moved to the front of the crowd to get a good look at it to notice that BTS was staring at the wall with a mischievous glint in their eyes. You smirked at their expression before moving closer to Jihyun and mumbling, "The prankster is probably an immature but sure has a great sense of humor!!"

"True that, I'd be infuriated is I was the one getting insulted. I think-"

But your friend was cut short by a booming voice at the end of the corridor which sounded awfully familiar to the principal's.

"WHY IS EVERYONE GATHERED IN FRONT OF MY OFFICE?? THIS IS A SCHOOL CHILDREN, NOT A ZOO!! GET ASIDE.", The principal screamed, obviously frustrated at the amount of high noise levels.

The students cleared the principal's path but the said woman froze in her place as soon as she noticed the letters painted on her office wall.

To say that the woman was angry would be an understatement. She was beyond furious. Her face turned a deep shade of red and everybody could see the veins of her neck popping.

"I would ask this once and only once.. Don't make me repeat myself... Who. played. this disgusting. prank?"

"I EXPECT AN ANSWER!!", The woman roared and you swore that even BTS flinched at the woman's uproar. However one person out of the seven was perfectly composed and to be honest it looked like that he was actually enjoying this situation.

"I think I who know who did this madam..", V smirked.

" If you see closely there is an 'E.C.' scribbled at the very bottom... And I'm sure that no one other than our Elena Clair uses those initials."
