Keira's POV

I knew I had to let the police know about this, but I couldn't just yet, they we're gonna let the case go dormant again.

But I needed to get terry and Cole out of jail.

But I just can't tell the police that I think they're innocent, it doesn't work that way.

Urggg what is going on??!.

I thought to myself restlessly.

I threw myself on my bed.

I begun reminiscing me and mara's friendship

I'm trying to remember who mara knew, that had a tattoo.

The guy we got drugs from had a tattoo, but not on his biceps.

At this point I didn't even know where to start to investigate this.

I just wanted to cry, but I'm strong, I needed to get to the bottom of this.

8 months later.

It's been almost a year since mara died, I haven't found a single clue.

Cole and Terry we're released due to lack of evidence.

Zoe was engaged to Dexter, so we we're throwing an engagement party for them, Dexter's family was coming over to our house for the party, Zoe now walked but with a limb, sometimes she uses her wheelchair to do some running around.

Mum had found someone new, they we're still in the talking stage, but at least she's happy.

We made a variety of dishes for our guests who were arriving by 9pm.

Once I was done setting the table I went to my room to take a shower and get dressed.

As I got out from my room, I heard voices and happy chattering, seems like the guests have arrived.

Dexter's family were sat on our living room with mom and Zoe, I joined them after greeting them, Dexter had a sister who looked around my age and a brother who I recognized but couldn't put my finger on it.

He noticed that I was having a hard time recognizing him, then he said

"Jack, names jack, the Jack you and mara humiliated in school back in 9th grade" 

My eyes widened slowly.

FLASH BACK.

mara's POV

Me and Keira we're skipping maths class because it was too boring.

We heard light moans coming from the boys bathroom.

"Shuush Let's check it out" I said to Keira excitedly.

I turned on my phone camera to film, I opened the door slowly.

I noticed one of the cubicles were half open, I peeped him and saw Jack beating his meat to porn on his phone.

I recorded it, while trying to hold my self from laughing, he eventually noticed us, and stopped abruptly, me and Keira ran away laughing like Hyena's.

"Soo uploading this" I said

"Noo, don't!" Keira said quickly

"Whyy, no one would know it's us, we'd be anonymous" I said trying to convince her.

"No no Don't do...." My phone made a ping before she could finish.

"Oops" I said with a chuckle, she rolled her eyes and walked away angrily.

Soon after the video circulated and he eventually left our school.

"Hey Jack" I said with a smile hoping to clear the awkward air.

"Um welcome everyone, please have a good time" Zoe Said with a smile when she noticed the uneasiness around.
