When you left, she also wanted me to fuck her, I wasn't in the mood at all, I didn't want to have anything to do with her, she then brought up the video again, and I was forced to follow her in, when we we're done I left her upstairs and she didn't come back down till we called out to her that we we're leaving, I had to get her phone to delete the video, so I dropped by guys at their homes, then came back to mara's house by 5am, I knew she'd be asleep, I planned to pick her lock, but surprisingly she didn't lock it, when I got to her room, the door was slightly open, and as I got it, mara was lying Dead on the floor, her phone was not so far from her hands, her wounds looked fresh, as though the murder just took place like 10 minutes ago, I panicked, took her phone and left" Cole said

I couldn't believe what I was hearing at the moment

"Who didn't you drop home?" I asked.

"A lot of people, some people followed others who brought their cars too" he said calmly.

"Thanks" I said and left his house without waiting to hear what he had to say.

This evidence was golden, I need to start locking them up one by one until one of em confesses, I thought to myself.

I checked my phone and saved the recording, I drove to the police station and asked to see the detective in charge of mara's case.

"Good day young lady, how may I help you?" Detective willow asked

"I have something to say about Mara Zane's murder" I said

"Really?, Come right in" he said.

The party soon ended, I showed everyone out and locked the doors, I scanned the empty house which was a typical mess, used condoms, empty bottles, drugs everywhere.

"Jeez, I'll have this cleaned up tomorrow, right now I need to rest" I said to my self

My hangover was getting the best of me at the moment.

I went to my room and brought out my camera, I had to record a recap of everything for my YouTube channel, I set the camera by hanging it on my wardrobe, 

"Hey guysssz" I slurred.

"Welcome back to my YouTube channel, it's 4:24am at the moment, I'm drunk as fuck, my party went of welll it was full of stamina, I'm glad everyone had a good ti...." I stopped when I heard the sound of the front door click open.

I felt my heart do a backflip in my chest.

"Did everyone leave?" I thought to my self, I thought of going to check it out, but I changed my mind and locked my door.

I sat at the edge of my bed and dialled Keira's number.

Keira was a light sleeper so this was definitely going to wake her up, I prayed silently as each ring went through without her picking, I proceeded to send a text message

"Keira" send

"I'm sorry for what I did, please help, someone is in my home" send

The messages ticked twice indicating her Mobile data was on

I recorded a voice note

"Keira, I'm sorry for what happened earlier" I said I heard footsteps approaching my room

"Everyone's left, but I hear footsteps downstairs, now the hallway, omg Keira I'm gonna call the police right no..." My door bursted open 

"Arggggggghhhhhhhhhhh" I screamed

I took a look at the person, my eyes widened

"Shut up!" He said

Keira's POV.

We we're in history class when the police came into our class room and took Cole and Terry away, everyone was confused, only I knew what was happening.

Cole had a scared look on his face, he glanced at me with a blank expression on his face as the police led him out.

I had given mara's phone to the police followed by the recording I took, I also told them about the waist beads I found in Terry's house.

The detectives we're glad, because there was no closure coming from her case anytime they got to something, they always got to a dead end.

During lunch, I was sitting on a table at the far end of the cafeteria with Maddie, when Joey walked up to me.

"Can I speak to you Keira?" He asked

"Um sure, here?" I asked

"No, outside" he said

I followed him outside the cafeteria

"Do you have a hand in Cole and Terry's arrest?" He asked

"Why are you asking?"I asked

"Look Keira, you can't just come up with theories, mara's gone, let it be, you're here trying to get justice for a girl who was a slut and blackmailer?!" He said

*Slap

I slapped him hard across his cheek, never speak of my best friend that way okay? I will not stop until the killer is found, even though it means me arresting everyone who was present at the party" I said and went back to the cafeteria leaving him rooted to the floor.

I got back and sat with Maddie, Maddie noticed my pissed look and asked

"What's wrong?" 

"Nothing" I said trying to finish up my sandwich

"You don't look fine" she pointed out

"I said nothing!!" I yelled as I hit my fist hard on the table.

Everyone in the cafeteria went quiet and turned over to us.

I got up and left leaving Maddie suffer the stares.
