Chapter 11.

I felt bad for doing this to Cole, but I have to take the hardway out of this.

"My night party is in a few days, I'll text you the details all you have to do is show up, play truth or dare with us and kiss me in front of Keira, I'll elaborate with Lucas to make it happen without giving him hints on it all you have to do is act like you're in love with me, okay?" I said in a voice note to him.

Cole-" lol ye, right after the party, I don't want to have anything to do with you!"

Mara-"depends, you know I got a video"

Cole-"jokes on you, you're also in the video"

I ignored the texts, there was no way I was gonna post the video! Was I crazy? I was just using it to get my way to Cole

"But wait a minute" I thought silently

"If I finally get together with Cole, would he love me? I mean the whole thing seems forced and all" the thought hit me hard I broke down and cried into my pillow.

What was I doing to Keira?

"Cole was right, Keira would never do this to me" I said through my tears

I'll leave Cole alone after the party, then I'll finally stop all these shenanigans.

I entered the bathroom and showered, me and Keira's best friends anniversary was in a few days, so I'm going to go to the park and record a video for her, I took my camera, purse and my water bottle and headed for the Park.

Keira's POV

"Keira" I heard someone softly call my name.

I sat up instantly and noticed it was dark already

"Did I fall asleep in mara's bed?" I thought

Mrs Zane was standing over me with a worried look on her face.

"Are you alright?" She asked

"Yea, I guess" I said as I stretched out

"We all miss her" Mrs Zane said lightly

"Yea" I agreed sadly, I got down from the bed and checked my phone.

I was already 8:30pm! And I had 30 missed calls from mom, Zoe and dad.

"Jeez" I said

"I'll be leaving Mrs Zane, I'm sorry for coming in without your permission" I said apologetically

"It's okay Keira, you're family" she smiled

"I have to rush home right now, bye Mrs Zane" I said as I rushed downstairs

"Bye!" She yelled 

I got into my car and drove home as soon as possible.

As soon as I walked in the front door, mom immediately hugged me tightly

"We we're worried Keira, where have you been?!" She asked as she touched my face frantically

"I'm fine mom" I said and tried going to my room.

"Where we're you young lady?" I heard dad's loud voice echo from the dining.

"I was out dad" I replied and proceeded to take the stairs.

"Stop right there young lady, I said where we're you" he yelled

This surprised me, Dad had never raised his voice ever, not at anything or anyone 

Mom was startled and walked over to him to calm him down, he pushed her aside and walked over to me.

"You think you can just go around this unsafe neighborhood anytime you want huh?! For goodness sake you aren't too young or too old to be murdered, raped or kidnapped.

I mean take a look at mara, she was 18, where's she now??" He said in an angry tone.

"Don't you speak about mara that way" I screamed

He slapped me right away

"And if I do?! What if I do? Didn't she deserve her death? Who throws a party when their parents are out of town huh?, Experiences with drugs and weed?!" He yelled back while breathing furiously

"Tom stop!" Mom said

I felt tears weld up in my eyes right away, I wasn't bothered about the slap or anything, but his words

"Nobody deserves death dad, if anyone deserves to die, it's you!" I screamed in between sobs and ran to my room abruptly shutting the door

"I couldn't believe dad would say such a thing" I thought as I sobbed into my pillow, I soon took a shower and went to bed, because I had to be in Cole's house tomorrow morning to get this experiment done with.
