I write fantasy novels to escape the mundane and monotonous aspects of reality.

I was thinking the same thing! I need to polish this, for sure. There are plot holes here and there and plenty of contradicting takes, but this isn't linear, so what you expect or what seems like the best course of action won't necessarily happen immediately. The way it played out in my head was different from how it was executed, which is why reviews are essential to better understand what others expect. However, the way you left your review isn't really constructive or helpful to me or others—it just comes across as 'disappointment.' Nonetheless, thank you for your time, and I’ll take your feedback into account.
In those 50 chapters, he mostly encountered monsters from the Dark Land and a few during his travels to other areas. He fought some people, but they weren’t strong enough for him to improve drastically. However, he isn’t weak. Thrill and fear feel similar because our bodies shake, but it’s not due to his weakness. What he lacks is confidence in fighting stronger foes. In this chapter, he was cautious with his use of espera, avoiding fighting at full power. As explained in previous chapters, he wanted to conserve his espera since he still hasn’t fully digested Noire's soul (meaning he hasn’t fully comprehended his soul, which meditation helps with). I know the chapter didn’t explicitly state this, but it reflected his intentions established in earlier chapters.
The MC doesn't have a mana heart, which is why he initially wanted to create an artificial one. However, after Vienna's advice, he decided to drop the idea since it was a waste of time. Still, it wasn’t entirely wasted because, even though he didn’t focus on enhancing his exorcism, he gained power-ups by storing treasures in his Esperic Storage.
because of Vienna's advice to focus on his strength (exorcism) to not waste time in getting stronger and he can't use magic (the real magic)
To anyone reading this: You’ve done great. Step into this new year with courage, whether it’s with a smile or just determination. Don’t give up, and keep striving to bring out the best in yourself. Happy New Year!
Yes. I already corrected it.
He’s slowly getting there. The lack of ambition and pride in him makes his character tricky. He wants to stay alive by ensuring there’s an explanation for his powers, so maybe he’s suppressing his pride and ambitions. He might feel that such things aren’t important, but that all depends on his character development. At some point, though, there should be a moment where he starts dreaming of becoming something more. I am excited for that since he likes being secured than having his emotions taking over.
Don't worry, I won't let it be wasted.0
If you ever found yourself in a world you only knew from a novel, it would be foolish to blatantly show off your powers. In a sense, Vonn still wasn't overly familiar with the world, which is why he was trying to avoid drawing attention to himself while focusing on what he was currently capable of using: "exorcism." I understand. He hides it, but not entirely, as he eventually starts revealing it in the coming chapters when he gets into actual fights. He knows very well that there’s no easy explanation for his powers from a normal person’s perspective, and it wouldn’t bring him the advantage or benefit one might expect.
