"Go slower on me… It hurts! Don't grind like that!"

Luxer, a young man in his twenties, clutched his game controller, clicking buttons of different colors to maneuver his character shown on the television. His character was far behind his enemy's, who easily bumped into his, chipping away at his health.

"You can't stop me. What did you say earlier? That I'm just a girl and can't defeat you? Guess what? I'm stomping on you."

A young woman with blonde hair grinned widely. Her fair skin and blue eyes lit up as she clicked precisely on the controller. She was like a master of it, and Luxer couldn't do anything about it.

Beside her, Luxer struggled as her character stomped on him each time he tried to overtake Kaisha's character.

"Oh shit!"

"Get lost. I am the master of this game! You will bow to me." Kaisha laughed.

Luxer hissed as his character, now on the verge of death, couldn't get past Kaisha's defense. He couldn't even reach the first finish line. If that happened, he would lose their bet.

"Fuck me!" Luxer shouted as his character died, failing to pass the first line, while Kaisha kept blocking his path.

"Luxer, you are indeed a loser. Now… I will step on your face!" She proceeded with an evil laugh that irritated Luxer. A few veins on his face became visible as she continued her scornful remarks.

He clicked his tongue. 'I didn't expect her to be good at this. I thought she was just academically inclined.'

With defeated shoulders, Luxer slouched.

'Bastard's fantasy is my fear. What the hell. Getting stomped on the face is not good for my image.'

"Lower down, loser. You have to lick my feet."

"What the hell? I don't want to."

"Tell that to your character you just killed. Whether you like it or not, with my foot on your face, you'll still lick it!" Kaisha laughed contentedly, and Luxer couldn't help but get more annoyed.

With her teasing, Luxer lowered himself closer to the ground. He lay on his back and faced Kaisha's foot raised above his face.

'Wait… Does she really want to tease me, or is it something else? Don't tell me… she wants me to pound on her?'

Luxer shook his head and closed his eyes. That was impossible. Ever since they were children, she had always bullied him. She was his childhood friend and enemy.

But now that they had grown, he couldn't help but have thoughts he wanted to clear from his mind. It was just… too gross.

Kaisha was pretty—that was a given, with her blonde hair, blue eyes, and flawless fair skin. He couldn't help but wonder why she hung out with him.

But that wasn't something to focus on. His face was currently being stomped on.

"Luxer, remember this: when I'm gone, that'll be the only time you'll be free from problems! You are my slave, and I am your master!"

And that turned into reality. Despite being smart, Kaisha was also oddly strong. She accidentally stomped on his neck instead of his face, and that instantly took his life without her even realizing it.

'That's murder!' Luxer's consciousness screamed as he faced the darkness, a void where nothing existed except his emotions.

'Why did I have to die like this? Does she hate me so much that she'd kill me like that? But… if she wanted to kill me, she could've done it in a different way. That lunatic!'

Then, he couldn't help but worry about her. He was sure it was an accident, and knowing he had died because of her would make her feel guilty.

He knew her well; they had grown up together. She would definitely cry about it.

Even though she was a strong, independent woman, Kaisha had a soft heart. That's why she stuck with him—he understood her.

Sighing, Luxer had no choice but to let it go. Since there was nothing he could do about it, all he could do was wait to see what would happen to his soul.

'This is a more serious matter. I'm dead… and I have a soul? I thought that wasn't real, but it seems like it is. So… what now?'

Luxer had no choice but to wait and wait… until suddenly, he felt a brief sensation of warmth that startled him.

He looked around—well, he thought he had eyes—but it was still pure darkness, consuming his consciousness.

However, as he continued to wait, a faint light appeared in the distance. Slowly, it grew larger, and he couldn't help but feel elated.

It felt like an eternity had passed, and he had almost given up hope, thinking this was hell or some sort of punishment.

When the light grew stronger and consumed his consciousness, Luxer was greeted by a blinding light and a sensation he had never felt before.

He felt warmth. He felt alive.

As the light dimmed, he could see clearly what was in front of him. Above him was a wooden ceiling, and he was lying on something soft that made him feel comfortable.

'Where am I?' he thought, trying to look around, but he accidentally lowered his head too much. To his surprise, he saw the face of a beautiful woman, though oddly, she seemed as big as a giant.

'Hey… Who are you? Are you a giant? Where am I? Did I reincarnate?'

Luxer tried to speak to the woman before him, but her face remained void of emotion. Slowly, she muttered something that shocked him. The words were foreign, yet he understood them effortlessly, even though it wasn't a language he knew.

And then, her face showed a dissatisfied expression.

"Tsk. This kid doesn't have any mana. What a waste of nine months."
