his character development most of the time just happens for the sake of it. like he doesn't even try to get revenge for becoming a slave, and his character was he despised being a slave a d hated his fate. He wasn't emotionless in the beginning but he was cunning. that is what we wanted but he got pussified after he had a fallout with them. I see no character development.
after cassie essentially enslaved him we thought he would get revenge on her at least. but not only he didn't but he felt guilty because he lashed out on her. this level of simping is unbearable. especially in contrast with how his character was presented in the beginning. it is insult to the readers.
he used fated attribute to make him dumber. now cassie is back just because "logic". now we are suppose to be okay with something he reviled so much which is being a slave. the girl is coming back to the party like nothing happened. which begs the question. what the fu ck was the point of it all then?
seeing your user name I doubt it is worth replying to you, but I just have to point out thay you should write strong fmc without having constantly clowning the mc, which for some reason seems really hard for authors to do. But then again if marvel authors are doing that I doubt web novel authors can do any better. Also, if fmc were male he would be called edgy, and anyone who likes him vigin incel. all her charctersics are despsied most of the time in male lead charcters. we just want the character we were alluded to in the early chapters. is that to much to ask?
I agree man. I don't know why the author did what he did. the amount of change they have in their ideals makes them appear edgy in a cringy way. like nephis was cautious at first, learned being calculative from him, willing to sacrifice thosuands, then we found out she had the conviction all the time, and then she enslaves him because she is a good person. like what the hell is happening with the character smh. don't even get me started on cassie. not only did he not kill her but when he made her feel bad about her decision he regrets for hurting her feeling all the while she was indifferent to the decision she made. I wanna insult the author but I won't.
