And of all People why Orochimaru, they haven't even had an interaction much less fight, they barely know each other They know this kid for years if you also look at it, what Orochimaru can offer, Tsunade and Jiraiya can offer more or less the same, would you be suspicious of a kid that's got everything just to try and throw it away for Orochimaru? Sure his research is good and all but when you have the scroll of forbidden jutsu at your side why bother And how obvious is Obvious? Kakashi didn't even see Naruto and Sasuke fight, so he wouldn't know how Sasuke looked, He arrived seeing Yuki reinforcing the seal live in front of his own eyes. He even offered to help him locate him, and if he would look at the mission report, he traveled from Konoha to Suna and back there's not really much suspicions or grounds if its just Orochimaru and Yuki colluding. heck no one even suspected Danzo and Orochimaru was colluding and they didn't even suspect it till much much later

i mean if no one's seen or felt the chakra of the ten tails or Kaguya you really can't question how much one chakra that guy has, while someone could probe into it but how do you gauge something you've never seen nor felt before? Its not that someone hasn't probed him but why would they probe his chakra in the first place if there's no reasonable ground to probe it

That is possible, but I'm not underestimating Kakashi or the jonins, the only problem with that is 'collusion with Orochimaru', a guy that just invaded the leaf, why would they suspect Yuki of that when everyone knows that He'd protect the leaf since Hinata and Ino call it home, no one in their right mind would even question that especially when he repeated it over and over again ever since he was young, 'Why allow Sasuke to leave' is the better question.

Like you said and with his goal, he won't take it unless absolutely necessary, he doesn't have anything going on in his life right now he can't babysit everyone, plus its the best way to get to know which missions are available including the S and A ranked, as well as gain information reserved for the Hokage, learning a thing or two isn't that bad anyway, and if he get's the trust he can take those missions related to the Tailed beasts for himself and no one will bat an eye if he's gone or not
