Today was Hinata's birthday, It's only been a day since I've returned, right now I was at the tailor, let's just say that I bought and designed the jacket she will wear in the future, I asked it to be made the week before we left for the Land of Snow.

It was the same violet and white jacket that she wore, I asked the tailor to make four of them so she has extra, I also asked if it was possible they could gift wrap it and they agreed.

She was going to turn fifteen, as for Ino she had already turned fifteen two months ago right before the Chunin exams.

When I went out of the tailor shop, I saw Anko who was eating dango's she had three on each hand, this girl is really gonna get fat.

"Anko-nee, can I have some?"

"Oh Yuki? Here you can have this one."

"Can I have two?"

"No can do."

"You're gonna get fat."

"I can just exercise"

I shook my head and took two from one of her hands, I get why everyone likes dangos as I ate them, she then noticed the small box in my hand but she didn't ask about it.

"Do you have an upcoming mission? You're eating a lot of Dango's today"

"I do, I'll be leaving in about an hour with Kakashi and some others."

"Oh, I knew you were going to that mission."

"You know?"

"Of course, I wouldn't be too surprised if you forced your way to join."

"We probably are going to survey the village see if its just a ruse or an actual village especially after what that white bastard had done to the Kazekage, see you later then Yuki, I'm going now since its almost time."

"Take care Anko-nee."

She then pinched my cheeks as she left, I didn't even know some of the smaller details of this world, this must be why Kakashi was late to retrieving Sasuke or was it another mission?

Anyway, I decided to go to the Hyuga compound, more or less they no longer celebrate Hinata or Hanabi's birthday as for why it was because she was kidnapped when she was younger now they rarely do, and even if they do, its almost always just Hinata, Hanabi and Hiashi celebrating it.

When I arrived at the compound I just went in, no questions asked, after walking for a little bit I found their courtyard, as I was standing there Hanabi saw me, it looked like she had just finished her training.

"Yuki-nii!"

"Hanabi"

I smiled at her as she grabbed my hand.

"You're here for Nee-chan right?"

"Mm."

"She's inside."

"What about your father?"

"He went out, he said he'll be back a little late than usual."

"I see."

I went inside their home as Hanabi went to her room, when I entered Hinata was startled to see me, She gave me a smile and came near me, I then gave her the present that was wrapped carefully.

"Happy Birthday."

"Yuki-kun"

She blushed as she took it, I nodded at her indicating that she open it, she slowly ripped the wrappers and saw the jackets she was confused when she saw it.

"I didn't know your size so I just figured?"

"I like it, though its a bit big but I'll wear it when I become older."

"Yeah older."

"But I feel bad, I thought you would be gone for another week, I haven't bought you a gift yet since it was your birthday last week"

"Its fine Hinata, being able to see you is a gift in itself from you."

I smiled as she turned red, she had nowhere to run and instead she ran towards me and hugged me, she then reluctantly let go as she was afraid Hiashi would see, not like he cares anyway since he was also well aware about our situation.

She then went to her room to place the jackets, while waiting I just sat at the table waiting for her.

"Yuki-kun, do you want anything?"

"Do I want anything? Nothing comes to my mind I guess, why do you ask?"

"I just wanted to know."

"Well there really isn't that I want for now."

Hinata looked at me seriously, pondering on my words, I don't need anything materialistically, I'm not really that bored since I'm still reading the Uzumaki scrolls from time to time.

Even then I reread Kakashi and Itachi's mission reports since it was very well detailed and concise that I learned a thing or two from them just by reading it.

"Then can you go out with me then?"

"Alright, but what about your celebration?"

"Its still pretty early and there will be people working on it, we still have a few hours Yuki-kun."

I nodded and smiled as I held her hand, Hanabi saw us and smiled, she nodded, she was a smart kid and understood, I gave her a thumbs up as she also gave one back.

"So where will you be taking me?"

"I know just the place."

After hours staying with Hinata, we eventually bought two rabbits, of course it had to stay with me since she wasn't allowed to bring it with her, but she said she would come by everyday to take care of them.

When I arrived at the Hyuga compound once again after we left the rabbits back at my home, we were greeted by Hiashi

"Hello Uncle Hiashi?"

"Yuki, come inside, we're celebrating Hinata's birthday."

"Okay."

I had to act respectful towards him, though I tease him but I do respect him, sometimes, and this was one of those times, he's still the father of Hinata after all.

He then led us to the hall, food were placed at the table, right now the only ones were Me, Hinata, Hiashi and Hanabi, after short while of talking we began then eating as Hiashi started, it wasn't awkward or anything as it wasn't my first time eating here until.

"What are your plans Yuki? I heard you're Lady Tsunade's left hand."

It was the first time that he had asked me that type of question, back then he would only ask how I was doing.

"Currently I'm planning getting promoted to Jonin as early as possible so I can take on higher missions."

"I see."

"If its for the safety of the ones I care about I will do my best to make sure they will live in a safe and peaceful environment."

He nodded and didn't ask anything else, but I could see there was a slight smile when I answered so I didn't say anything else as the dinner continued.

When it was finally finished Hinata escorted me out and waved goodbye, but Hiashi came he told Hinata to go back as he said he wanted to say something to me.

"Yuki, tell me honestly, do you like my daughter?"

"I do."

"If I were to say no to your relationship what would you do?"

"I won't care and I will fight you for her, that's why I'm training and getting stronger so I can protect everyone I care about."

He nodded and left, right before his back disappeared from my view.

"Don't make me regret this decision Yuki."

I bowed as he left, like I said I have to respect the In-laws sometimes, when I was about to return to my home I saw four figures in the dark, I smiled, so its going to happen tonight? Let's see what he'll choose.

When I arrived after following them, Sasuke already had his things ready, perhaps he had already knocked Sakura out or maybe not considering Sakura's subtle changes and new information regarding relationships.

The sound for if I'm correct, The girl's name was Tayuya, the fat guy is Jirobo, Spiderkid is Kidomaru, and lastly the two headed freak was Sakon and Udon.

They were all kneeling to Sasuke, Sasuke had a slight smirk, and here I thought he'd change, perhaps he still felt weak even though I've done my best but, let's give him this one last chance.

When Sasuke finally stood between them, I revealed my figure, they looked at me as my shadow was casted upon them.

"Who are you."

I didn't reply, Sasuke knew who I was when he heard my voice and his eyes widened, I just looked at him with a face full of disappointment to spite him and get him all riled up.

"Itachi would be disappointed, perhaps your entire family would be as well."

"Don't speak of their name!"

"Are you really that desperate for power? Even Orochimaru can't touch Itachi who had only trained the Uchiha techniques, well granted you do have your Sharingan's and that's huge factor, so what will it be Sasuke?"

"Don't speak of Lord Orochimaru's name like that!"

The two headed freak yelled at me, he was raring to go, I just stood there waiting for Sasuke's answer.

"I want revenge Yuki, and I don't want you to stop me."

"Very well, kill those four first, prove it to me that you're strong enough."

I just smirked at him, Sasuke was hesitating on what to do, on one hand he would have to solo the four of them, one the other hand, he could choose to fight me along with them but he knew that was useless.

"What will it be Sasuke?"

"Shut up!"

Jirobo and Kidomaru jumped at the same time towards me, they extended their fists, as they were about to land it they were suddenly flown back, all the while I didn't move and my hands were still in my pockets.

"Neither the four of you have any say, sit down and watch lest I kill the four of you myself."

Sasuke clinched his fists as his anger rose, now a question has been rising in me, do I let him walk and go to Orochimaru and let him babysit him? I certainly don't want to babysit this walking time bomb.

On the other hand he could stay behind Konoha and do what he wants to do but then again he will be limited, as much as I owe Itachi, everything I do is for Mother and the safety of my loved ones and I don't want them to be near with a time bomb.
