Thanks for the chapter, author!
Captain's Log: I'm quite surprised they managed to find me this quickly to be honest. Then again, they're all really capable girls. Amber's Log: I'M GOING TO KILL THOSE BASTARDS
I hadn’t even taken notice of this tbh until I read your A/N, so this works fine for me, especially if you say it gets even better later on.
Possibly because the novel has been on hiatus for quite some time, I forgot a few details too to be honest. I’m really glad author’s back working on this novel, though!
Thanks!
The Byzantium empire had already survived something similar to 1453 in the 13th century when the Crusaders conquered/sacked Constaninople in 1204 and ruled the city and, consequently, most of the empire for years. Many thought that was the end of the empire, but the nobles that had fled and set up multiple different states around the empire, the most powerful being the Empire of Nicaea (the patriarch of Constantinople had also settled here) pushed back and eventually reconquered the city in 1261. As we all now know, the empire continued to survive until 1453, but I literally mean survive since its power heavily declined over the centuries and the former great empire declined until in the 15th century it only consisted of Constantinople and a few surrounding states/areas. So could we potentially see the situation after 1261 as an answer (1 of multiple possibilities of course) to your question, author? Of course your question relates to 1453, but 1204 was the first time the capital of the empire was conquered, 1453 being the second time. History, as it often does, repeated itself in this scenario, though in 1453 the empire didn’t make a comeback. That’s also why I’m very curious how you’re going to write this, I’m really looking forward to the next fee days while I’ll be reading your story! :D
Well, will this be the cause for his criminal record? Killing Master Uma should get him in front of the sage, right?
I think he meant cooking in the diner together
I think the author might have meant the Brittannica empire
Yeah, it really makes me curious what the twist will be. I’m looking forward to what the author has come up with.
