You do know chidori came about from kakashi trying to apply lightning to the rasengan right? You could have Dazen learn the rasengan to practice his shape manipulation then try to recreate the chidori from there. Alternatively, once he learns the rasengan, he could try to recreate the vanishing rasengan made by boruto. Although I think it would be cool if Dazen just focused on recreating the purple lighting.

And that’s why I said he could learn about it from yuta, people with the same technique will use it differny because they have different interpretations.
