if your putting it that way then I think the system is for him to do all the hard work since Avila is already part of him meaning she has choice to control his body but doesn't because it to weak and she wants him to power it up before she take it and from the beginning she was able to take his negative energy from him but never when it was about the necklace saying she couldn't take all the negative energy but she needed negative energy to be unseal and needed to be broken but still doesn't make sense wouldn't it had broke from too much overflowing energy or just glow for a hint that it needs to be broken because I feel like that necklace could've been broken anytime and the same thing would happen and she just lied
