The characters must make reasonable decisions if they are to be seen as 'real'. You, in the MC's situation, would do all that you can to be untouchable in the shortest time possible because doing otherwise would risk your own life. The way a story should deal with this is by throwing obstacles into the MC's path. Things like Dumbles not allowing him access tot he Room. His system throwing him some mission too good to ignore. Etc. It shouldn't be the character who chooses to take the 'interesting' path to have a story.
I don't remember the fic so I may be wrong, but I don't think this MC is magic. And even if he was, it would make beating his wings in flight even more useless. Unless the magical flight given by the wings is massively FTL, then it's useless in comparison to kryptonian flight.
...did you even read how this debate came about?
To be honest, I would rather read the story from the other transmigrator's POV. That guy is way better MC material then this "basic chines MC" cutout we have here. I mean, come one, dude, do something yourself! He did not initiate 1 action by himself this whole fic. At least the other guy is straightforward and doesn't hide he's a transmigrator like he's in hiding from the IRS...
I checked the dates and they are 17 and 22 based on the year of their birth and the date of the first Martial arts tournament.
No, there really are that little jonin. Remember, jonin are army killers!
Well, that's the thing with fanfics, as long as it doesn't contradict what the OG author set as rules for his universe, you can do anything. The humans in OP can regrow teeth just by drinking milk, yet there are people without teeth. Humans there are much more 'malleable' then in other fiction world. As for life return, we don't really see that much use of it. From my memory, I only remember the guy with the hair that was really using it, otherwise it's just mentioned here and there. As for Logia, most logia users are prideful and have a very strong self image. Then there are those like Caesar Clown that looks like his looks were influenced by his powers.
I don't really agree with this. Krillin was 17 with only 1-2 years of training while Yamcha was 22 with a lot more training. He is talented, for sure, but he's the least among the humans. Also, true, he's an asshole(he's a former bandit, what do you expect) but he does put his life on the line and also loses it to save the world so I don't think I'd call him trash.
I don't think it was ever used like that in canon, but since it can be used to control hair and grow nails and such, it's not that much of a stretch to think it could be used to shift the permanent position of muscles and ligaments, ensuring a natural symmetry on the face. It could probably also be used to lenghten/shorthen bones, since in one piece those are just as malleable as flesh. And lastly, the most compelling argument, the dude is no longer human, he's light given human form. From my understanding, every logia could look however they wanted if they had enough control of self.
There are many problems with sects in Xianxia, but using contribution for knowledge/resources is not one of them. It's a fair system that works.
