Mission underway 2

The four teams that took a head on approach into the forest had been walking for a while now. They journeyed slowly and steadily. Even though they knew that their main purpose was to eliminate beasts, they couldn't risk drawing too much attention to themselves. Who knows? They might stir the ire of a tier two beasts, and they certainly didn't want to do that, not with so many tier one knights around.

Though the four teams hadn't seen any beast yet, they felt their presence, they knew that so many beasts had surrounded them. The beasts were only scared of their numbers and was patiently waiting, but now, they couldn't wait any longer, and they had to exterminate these humans.

A wave of red hot flames suddenly poured out from the sky in a straight manner, it was very large and covered a large radius.

A beast had jumped mounting high and it spat dangerous flames that could annihilate an army.

Oliver was the first to notice this, he reacted quickly as lightning flashed around his legs, strengthening them and giving them superhuman strength.

Boom!

Oliver took off, jumping very high as a scythe completely made of lightning appeared in his hands. Oliver swung his scythe at the fire, lightning followed the path his scythe created, forming a shining blue color as it collided with the fire, the impact blowing away.

Lightning users were very powerful as they could control the sky when they reached a certain level. But to be frank, they were the weakest, as they had to wait for it to rain before they could utilize their maximum power. They weren't as powerful as water users who could draw water out of any of the many oceans that surrounded earth, nor were they as powerful as fire users. But being a fire user, you had to become extremely powerful with unrivaled control before you could utilize its strength. A fire user can draw out the lava underground, bursting through the earth. But the threshold of fire and water users were too high and no one had ever accomplished that, so people didn't really know about them, only the lightning users were more popular as they were also rare. The most important thing about fire users was their rumored ability to be able to control space and time. Rumor even had it that they could switch to alternate universes.

The Reverend had gotten his hand on this news, and he went in search of the Ashuras immediately.

Oliver propelled himself even further up, then he proceeded to crack up a super-powered lightning blow at the ribs of the beast. The beast let out a painful cry as it was blown away, turning into dark mist in the distance.

Seeing the way everyone's attention was draw to the beast in the sky, Scott shouted. Don't take your eyes off your surrounding for any reason!!

Seeing the little effect his shout had on these rookies, Scott immediately had a rethink.

What was Benjamin thinking when he sent these damned tier one knights here!?

The floor suddenly cracked and a girl screamed in terror as she started to fall in, a beast who was underground jumped up with mouth wide open, seeking to swallow her raw.

Tyson quickly flashed and he was above the scared girl in a heartbeat, he grabbed her and pulled her up, then he used his second hand to make a gesture at the floor, shutting it tightly, and squashing the earth-affiliated beast inside.

The beasts all rushed out of their hiding an attacked in one go, instilling fear into the timid ones.

As Oliver was landing, a beat jumped forward, mouth wide open to swallow him. Oliver noticed the danger so he quickly spun around, facing the beast who spat out water that was quick to turn into spears.

Tega looked up and saw the scene, there was no way Oliver could dodge the fifty-close spears that was directed at him in the air. Tega's veins turned bright blue as blue fire coursed through them. Tega burst forward, jumping to save Oliver.

Tega positioned himself in front of Oliver and crossed his hands positioning his two blades in front of him, creating a shield.

Tega managed to block all the attacks using his aura, and he and Oliver landed on the floor.

The beast also landed and it lunged forward again, attacking the again.

Thud!

Lena landed swiftly and in a nimble manner, her stealth movement reminded Tega of his father.

Get away from them, you damned beast!!

Boom!

Lena landed a kick on the side of the beast, the impact sent the beast crashing into a tree. The beast turned into a dark mist that drifted away.

Tega stared in awe, Lena's physical strength was stunning, and it was hard to believe that it came from those slender arms.

Thud!

A beast suddenly fell in front of them, a dagger was stuck to its head and Scott mounted it.

Tega felt his eyes almost pop out. How was Scott managing to keep up with them using just two normal daggers?
