It had been about an hour when I finally finished watching the third and last playable video on my phone. A certain idea about the purpose of these videos had started to form in my head over time and with the accumulation of my observations.
"Hmm. Perhaps? Yes, that would make some sense."
This idea was based on the possibility that, maybe, just maybe, the purpose of my phone was to offer me some kind of guide about what would happen during the school year, mainly about the events that would unfold throughout the anime.
"Yes, it has to be that. Although it's still too early to be sure. This requires a bit more observation. Chance is dangerous. I must check it first. I don't know for sure what the purpose of all this is."
I slowly moved my finger along "the video timeline" and then, subtly, dragged "the slider" near the end of it. Scenes summarizing what awaited me in the next episode began to play immediately.
This preview showed, respectively: the start of the end-of-month exam, the arrival of a batch of cards at the academy, Professor Medici's antics to expel his least favorite student, and finally, a teaser of the duel between Yūki Juddai and Manjōme Jun. An exam that would take place in four days, according to Professor Daitokuji's words during his brief visit this morning. It was at that moment when I would firsthand check if my idea was feasible or not. An idea in which I assumed that once I had completed that exam and, consequently, also the corresponding anime episode; one of the currently corrupted episodes might be viewable again. This led me to my next course of action.
"I need to create a program. A program to go back home."
That was my final conclusion after several minutes of silent contemplation.
I proceeded to pick up one of the many notebooks I had on my lap at the moment. Then, I did the same with one of the various colored pens scattered on the sheets.
Slowly, I settled into my position. My thoughts began to organize slowly.
"Ugh. Alright, let's begin. One step at a time..."
After taking a deep breath, I finally started working on "my plan to go back home."
