Agreement

A phone ringing suddenly surrounds the room, startling Rami, who just sits beside the bed, staring into nothing. Upon checking who the caller is, he groans irritatingly.

"Hello?" he asked sharply.

"Hmmm... getting pissed, are we?" said the voice he didn't want to hear right now at this instant.

"Aster," he said with recognition.

"The one and only dear little brother," Aster, his big brother, answered. Astera Maxwell Deveraux is the oldest among us. The one who called about the sniper was my second-eldest brother, Redge Andrex Deveraux.

Rami didn't want to talk to him, as he knew that they knew that he was injured. Thus, his going to punish him. He didn't want to because, thinking of the sadistic side of their eldest, he shuddered.

'Yayks.' He grimaced.

The punishment is one of the rules given to them by their father. Their father gave the order through their eldest brother, and he was responsible for each and every one of us. The rule is that, no matter if it was accidental or not, they are forbidden to be injured. Even if it's just a scratch or any minor injuries. They will be punished; that punishment depends on their eldest brother's mood.

Sadly, that punishment will fall on him. God help him. That brother of theirs is a Satanic incarnate. Just a word of it: he is so ruthless when it comes to punishment. His being his little brother is not an exemption.

"What do you want? "I stutter.

"Hmm..you know what it is." Aster

Rami knows he is smirking right now.

"Tsk. Just fire it away. Don't be a sus."

"So impatient," he teased.

"Just say it, will you?" Rami

"Yeah, yeah. So, as your punishment..."

"Fuck, just say it!" Rami yelled.

Aster laugh. That laugh stunned Rami. As usual, when their eldest laughs, it's mesmerizing.

"Fine. You need to stop five syndicates, deal with them, and kill them all. Kill 10 drug lords for just one shot. Hunt 25 wanted criminals that are now wondering as of now. Lastly, you mustn't have any scratches or wounds or whatsoever, if you do. You do the amount twice, and we'll never let you go out of our territory," Aster said nonchalantly, like those are naturally easy to do.

"Wwwhhhhaaaaatttttttttttt? Are you kidding me?" Rami exclaimed unbelievably.

'Seriously,' he thought.

"Do I sound like I am joking?" He said coldly.

Rami couldn't answer or say a thing anymore. Because when he talks that coldly, then that means he must stop talking and just obey what his brother said.

"Yes. I'll do it." Rami obeyed silently.

"But can I do that after a month? Just one month," he whispered through the phone.

Aster didn't agree or make a sound. After a while of silence, he said, "You can. For just a month."

"Before I forgot, they are in different countries, so enjoy traveling. Grayheme will send you the information that you will need through your email. Just go to him when that time comes," he continued. Then he hung up.

Rami should cherish her remaining time with Dark with his new friends, because he knows that after a month, it will be difficult for him to make a reason for them to be together again, to be with Dark again without any problems and complications that may lead to difficult situations and such things.
