Chapter 004: Cleaning

Eri and Enyu are on the ground breathing heavly trying to catch their breaths as the intense food fight exhausted both of them. Enyu looks around and starts laughing in pain "look at this mess, I guess i'll be here much longer then i expected" Eri starts laughing to herself to while nodding. The living room was a total mess with cake at every possible section you could see.

Enyu tries to get up but slips from all the frosting on the floor and lands on his back, he begins to groan, "uhh, i feel some of the cake trying come back out my stomache" as he holds onto his stomache. Eri looks at him in disgust and pity as she watches him lay on the ground, also mocking him by laughing out loud in his face. Eri slowly gets up as she waves her arms arlund balancing herself out, when she was finally on her feet she walked towards Enyu and reached out her hand.

"Hehe, this is truce then, you win" as he reaches up and grabs onto her hand slowly getting up and balancing himself. Enyu sighs and puts his hands on his hip, his head tilted annoyed knowing how much of a hassle its going to take. "You should head to the bath and wash off a bit, better yet, take a shower, ill clean this all up as punishment." He says bummed put but still standing up with his back straight tk keep some if his pride.

Eri shook her head as she went over the kitchen sink washing her arms and face. After washing off, she grabs a rag and wipes the water off her arm and face, rough but it works. She opens up a cabnet in the kitchen closet and pulls out to broom, pulling her arm out and handing one to Enyu. "We're doing this together" as she gives him a soft smile.

Enyu sighs out of relief and disapointment "Thank you" he says grabbing onto the broom and start cleaning up. With the two of them, it was pretty easy to get the big chunks off the floor, as they used their hands to pick it off the wall and out of the couch. Once they finished with the easy part, Enyu went to take the trash out and Eri got the cleaning supplies and mop ready for the painstakingly long process.

Even with the two off them, the process of wiping and washing the walls and floor get it specky clean was a ditiful task, yet i wasn't even the hardest part. When it finally came to the last part, neither of them had the energy to maually wash the sofa. So instead they came to an agreement and decided to go to a laundrey place to get it cleaned.

The two of the carried and took the sofa out of the house as they finally finish up cleaning the house. Exhausted, Enyu lays on the floor while Eri lays her head and arms down on the table. The two of then sat their in silence for a bit till Enyu asks "So, do you think your gaurdian will be mad about the sofa" sitting up and placing hid elboe on the table while putting his head on his hand. Eri felt a sharp tug at her heart, he didn't imply anything but she thought of her parents and it made her heart ache.

"It's fine, i live alone" she says quietly,with some sadness coming off her voice. Eri started explaning her situation to Enyu, as he sits there patiently listening to her, he notices that the more she talked about it the sadder she got. "...and this, was the last thing they gave to me, the last memory of them" as Eri hugs onto her stuff animal tightly, as she lays her face sideways on the table. Enyu does the same but facing in her direction making eye contact with her.

"Life sucks, and it does everything it can to make you feel like your nothing" Enyu says depressingly, Eri nods slowly in agreement. "But your still here, and your still living, so instead of wasting it, as my parents tell me, expand yourself to prepare for all the excitment in your life, and prepare yourself for more hardship" he says with a slight grin. "Not a very insperarional quote but its a meaningful one".

Eri thinks about his words as she been through so much hardship in her life, she thought about all the pain she suffered and all the struggles she's been through. But in a single day, they felt like nothing, in a single day, she forgot about all her pain for once in her life and actually lived. Eri nods in agreement to Enyu, "very meanigful" she whispers under her breath.

Enyu springs up as he prepares himself to ask Eri something, as Eri lifts her head up and looks at him. "Hey, why don't we have a sleepover, don't worry, my parents will be fine with it, actually, they would me joyful about it" he says proundly with hands behind his head. Eri is shocked by the sudden question, feels his innocent aura, no ultier motives as far as she can tell.

But the more she thought about it, the more red her face got. This will be my first ever sleep over and it will be alone with a boy, what will happen, is this okay, if my parents were here whay would they think. As her head swirls around, steam feels like it was coming out of her head, and maybe it was, cause Enyu was terrified as he ran to the fridge immedetly, grabbed a bottle of water and poured her a glass before giving it to her.

Eri grabs the cup of water while gulping it down, her head tilted back as she drinks it all down. She puts the cup down and exhales, finally cooling off, with hesitation and a whole bunch of courage she says quietly twirling her finger. "S-s-sure, a s-sleepover sounds fine"
