Chapter- Piano

"Vrrr vrrr", phone rang. Akihiko glanced at it. It was his cousin who was calling him. Why is he calling him now, he's at work. Even so Akihiko picked up the call.

"Hello?" he said.

"Hi, are you busy tonight", his cousin asked. Akihiko looked at his schedule.

"No. Do I need to babysit you or something?" he joked.

"Haha", his cousin laughed. "Do you want to come to a piano concert tonight?".

"And why's that?" Akihiko asked. "You like pianos all of a sudden?".

"Well, my one friend plays in that concert", he answered. "He said that I can bring a friend with me".

"You don't have friends so you need me to be there?" Akihiko laughed.

"Hey! I'm being nice to you", his cousin said in an irritated tone. 

"Okay, I'll come", Akihiko says. "When is it?".

"It's at 9 pm", he answers. "We were thinking we'd go drinking after that".

"I don't have work tomorrow, so I guess that's alright", Akihiko says.

"Then I'll pick you up at 8 pm and let's go together", his cousin says.

"Sure", Akihiko said and hung up the phone. 

"Well now I have something to do", he says to himself. He's been bored for too long time. 

After work he went to his car and drove home. It's 7 pm now. 

"I better be ready", he thought and went straight to shower. 

He looks at himself from the mirror. He is tall, handsome and has a sharp face with short black hair. 

After showering he changes his clothes and drinks water. It's almost 8 pm now. He calls his cousin.

"Are you coming?" Akihiko asks.

"Yeah, I'm almost there", his cousin says. Akihiko hangs up the phone. It has been a while since he went to a concer, he thinks.

Akihiko is in his cousin's car. His cousin Minoru is only two years younger than him. Even though they're cousins they are like brothers. They grew up together and went to the same school together.

"Who is this friend of yours by the way?" Akihiko asks.

"I met him in high school, he's really nice", Minoru answers. "He is a professional pianist now".

"Wow", Akihiko says. "What's his name?".

"Mihara Kichiro", Minoru says. "I think you guys would come along".

"Were here", Minoru says and takes his seatbelt off. 

Akihiko looks at the building they're at. It's huge with huge lights. They went inside, it was clean. They walked to the info place and gave our tickets.

"The hall is in room 3, you have to go up from the elevator", the info lady says.

They went in and went to a big hall. There were fancy seats and a big stage. There were already a lot of people. 

"It's only 20.45", Akiko whispers to his cousin. 

"I know right", Minoru answers. "People are crazy rich here". 

"Is your friend that popular?" Akihiko asks. "I mean, I don't know him".

Akihiko and Minoru went to their seats. They have the best view to the stage.

"Well, the way he plays is something else", Minoru explains. "I don't know how to say it".

The light goes off.

A blonde man with a suit walks to the stage. He has shiny brown eyes and he smiles brightly. He sits down and takes the microphone.

"Thank you everyone for coming, I'm so happy that you came. I really appreciate it and i hope you enjoy this performance. Now you shall take a comfortable seat and listen, thank you", he says. 

Small starting speech, Akihiko thinks

He puts the microphone back and puts his fingers on the piano. He starts playing. It's slow. The melody is simple. Akihiko looks at him. He feels weird. His heart suddenly is pounding really fast.

Akihiko looks how the piano is touched, that persons fingers, eyes, face. It's something… Different? His face is different than earlier. What is it? Akihiko deeply looks at him. That person. He looks so majestic. His hands, it's his hands. Akihikos eyes are attached to him and he can't look at anything else. 

"Why is my heart pumping this fast?" Akihiko thinks for himself. He leans closer to see him. What is it? What's this feeling? Melody is beautiful. He feels something hard

"The concert was amazing", Akihiko compliments. 

"Glad you liked it", Kichiro smiles.

Minoru drove the car and at the same time they had a great conversation.

"I heard you were in the same high school as Minoru", Akihiko says. 

"Yes, he's a really good friend", Kichiro answers.

"How did you guys become friends?" Akihiko asked.

"It's a long story", Kichiro laughs. "I was a nerd back then, Minoru wasn't really good at school and then I had to tutor him. As time passed we became friends". 

"High school buddies huh", Akihiko laughs. "I went to a private school after middle school". 

"Really?" Kichiro asks. "You must be really rich".

"Me and Minoru were born with a silver spoon", Akihiko says. 

"Life must've been easy for you", Kichiro says and smiles. He is so positive. "I was born in a poor family". 

"Really?" Akihiko asks. 

"I worked hard to come to this point, to reach my dreams", Kichiro explains. "My parents died when I was young and I went to live with my grandparents". 

"You've been going trough alot. I'm sorry", Akihiko says. 

"Its alright!" Kichiro laughs. "I don't need to go to that living anymore and I know it". 

As they came to the restaurant they ordered drinks and meat to grill. 

"By the way how is your sister doing?" Akihiko asked Minoru.

"She's fine", Minoru sighs. "She is mad about everything these days".

Akihiko laugs. 

"Akihiko, I've seen you in Tv a few times," Kichiro says. He looks excited.

"No thats nothing", Akihiko laughs.

"I've never seen a celebrity in real life", Kichiro sighs. 

"I'm not a-".

"You really can't see him, Akihiko is really lazy!" Minoru laughs. "He never cares about interviews".

"I'm not lazy", Akihiko answers. "I just dont really like talking to them".

Akihiko looks at Kichiro. Akihiko feels really guilty and starts to drink more and in a while he gets drunk.

"Guys I can't drive", Minoru says. "I'm gonna call my sister to pick us".

"Whatever, I don't care", Akihiko says. He feels dizzy. "I'm just going to sleep here".

"I can't even drive", Kichiro sighs. "I need to make drivers licenses this year".

"Vrromvroom", Akihiko mumbles. 

"Hello?" Minoru says to the phone. "Can you come here?".

"I'm at the grill restaurant. I'm kinda drunk and also Akihiko and Kichiro", he says.

"Ok", he says and hangs up. "She's gonna pick us".

"I don't want to" Akihiko asks. He feels really tired. He feels like his eyes are like rocks and they are closing all the time.

"I can take him home by taxi", Kichiro answers. "I really wanna help".

Minoru is quiet. He sighs.

"You're really a pain in ass", he says and hits Akihiko on the head. 

"Thank you", Akihiko laughs and falls onto Kichiros shoulder. 

"Ok, I'm going now, take care", Minoru says and takes his things and leaves. 

"What an pussy", Akihiko whispers. Kichiro stands up and takes arm and carries him. 

"I'm going to call a taxi, if that's okay", Kichiro says to Akihiko.

"Angel", Akihiko says and Kichiro laughs. 

"Tell me your address", Kichiro asks and takes his phone out of his pocket.

"Xxxxxxxx", Akihiko mumbles and starts randomly laughing. 

Akihiko fell asleep and woke up in a car.

"Where am I?" Akihiko asks. He is still drunk and he feels really light.

"Were in a taxi", Kichiro answers. "You snorted a lot".

Akihiko is quiet and falls asleep again. 

"Take me home", he says and closes his eyes.

"We are here", Kichiro says and looks at Akihiko. He is sleeping again. Kichiro smiles and carries Akihiko by his arm. 

"You're kinda heavy", Kichiro sighs and opens the door. He took the keys from Akihiko's pocket.

"Wow, you have a big mansion" Kichiro says and looks at the house. Akihiko slowly opens his eyes. He looks at Kichiro. 

"Oh, you're awake", Kichiro says. Akihiko leans closer to him. 

"Are you okay? Do you need something?" Kichiro asks.

"My hands?" Kichiro says he is confused. He tries to take his hands away.

"Am I?" Kichiro asks he smiles. "I guess not anymore". He starts to kiss Akihiko more. Kichiros heart is pounding.
