If she was so ugly, how come Xu Jingyu didn't feel disgusted when he saw her. He has been staring at her for the past ten minutes.

"Who should I be thanking?, you?, Young Master Lu, Young Master Feng or..." Su Mingxia drew the last word as she turned to Wen Li whose was trying to very hard to hide her jealousy and resentment.

"Miss Wen?". Su Mingxia crossed her legs and as she looked at Wen Li. A brief laugh left her mouth before turning to Xu Jingyu.

"If Sister Xia wants to thank anybody then she should be thanking her husband" Feng Xichen said as he poured himself a glass of whiskey.

Lu Kai looked at Feng Xichen in shock. Feng Xichen smiled and nodded at him.

"Xu Jingyu you're really an old fox" Lu Kai said as he drank the whiskey he was holding.

Xu Jingyu remained silent waiting for her to thank him. He wanted to hear shaky voice and see her face flush red when she thanked him. He wanted to see that Su Mingxia who was absolutely obsessed about him not this woman who looked at him like she was looking at a stranger.

"Hmm...Ok" Su Mingxia said without at him.

Xu Jingyu frowned.

"Miss Su... don't you think that that was a very rude. I mean, Jingyu justed saved your life... shouldn't you thank him sincerely?" Wen Li suddenly blurted out.

"I don't think Fourth Xu deserves my thanks..." Su Mingxia retorted.

Wen Li was shocked. Was she looking down on Xu Jingyu.

Even Lu Kai and Feng Xichen were both shocked. This woman was too bold.

"Anyway the person who tried to kill me is he still alive?" Su Mingxia asked.

"What are you going to do with him?" Xu Jingyu finally spoke in his deep and magnetic voice.

"I just want to ask him some questions that's all" Su Mingxia said as she stretched her hands and grabbed the glass he was holding. She poured the whiskey in her mouth and closed her eyes. She opened them again and licked her lips while pouring another glass of whiskey for herself.

Her actions just now were extremely seductive. Xu Jingyu forced himself to remain calm. He had a strong urge to pin her down and kiss her widely.

"He's dead...but..." Xu Jingyu said as he brought out a pocket knife and placed it on the table

"He left this behind"

Su Mingxia took the knife and examined it. There were some alpha numeric numbers written on the blade.

Su Mingxia chuckled.

"Sister Xia....we went to your apartment in Paris...we didn't have time so we grabbed these two boxes" Feng Xichen said as he placed two small boxes on the table. She looked at the two boxes in front of her. She had almost forgotten that she had these.
