Misplaced and a meeting with Dr.Fate

[November 5, Mount Justice]

(Tyler Rogers AKA Captain America's POV)

It was late at night and team was arriving at the cave since we went to get groceries for the cave as M'gann opened the bioship doors we were met by Zatara, Batman, and Red Tornado waiting for us to get the crates out to put away.

When we were doing that Artemis and Zatanna come out of the other room talking about Zatanna joining the team which she is now an official member thanks to me convincing her father that she was ready but as we were unloading I could hear a spell being cast in fact the whole team did as we heard this all the adults in the room disappeared into thin air which all of us just looked puzzled as to what happened.

[Few hours later in Happy Harbor]

(Tyler Rogers AKA Captain America's POV)

I was on the streets with the rest of the team either on the streets getting the stranded kids to safety at Happy Harbor High School or at the cave looking for anyway to get into contact with the adults which was coming up with nothing.

As I was thinking this I was met with a 10 year old kid in a house alone crying for his mom I went up to the kid and said.

Tyler Rogers:"Hey kid."

Kid:"Who--who are you."

Tyler Rogers:"I am here to help you I am one of the good guys."

Kid:"How do I know your a good guy your not a superhero."

Tyler Rogers:"Well if you promise to keep this a secret I'll tell you okay."

Kid:"Fine."

As he said that I pulled out my shield insinuating that I am the superhero Captain America and the kid was stunned saying.

Kid:"Oh my god your Captain America wow cool!"

Tyler Rogers:"Now will you come with me to safety now."

Kid:"Yeah!"

Tyler Roger:"By the way what's your name kid."

Jaden:"My name is Jaden Myers."

Tyler Rogers:"Cool name well let's get you to safety Jaden."

And at that me and Jaden went off to the school where some of the team was there like Artemis, Conner, and Megan as we got there Jaden ran off to mingle with some kids he knew while I went over to Artemis who was playing with the kids which was funny I plopped down beside her and said to her.

Tyler Rogers:"You know your good with kids."

Artemis:"Yeah I know don't think you are gonna get me pregnant when I haven't even finished school yet I am not being a teen mom okay."

Tyler Rogers:"I know just in the future I want kids with you and Jade that all."

Artemis:"Yeah I would like that as well in the future."

As we talked Wally and Conner came in with more kids until Robin called telling us to get to the cave because he may have a plan of what is going on and if he didn't have the final answer I would tell the who was behind this and where to go but I wanted to see if they could figure it out this time around.

(Tyler Rogers AKA Captain America's POV)

As the team was in the cave we were talking about what to do and how to do things as their were magical properties have been involved in this situation and would need to be located from the location spell Zatara did last month with the injustice group and the only one to do it was Zatanna who didn't know for sure she could do it while we were thinking this over we hear a bolt of lightning and a kids voice.

As we turned to see it was Billy Batson AKA Captain Marvel the whole team comes up to Billy and ask him.

Kaldur:"Who are you and how did you get in here."

Billy Batson:"Guys you got to listen to me."

Wally West:"Yeah kid like we listen to you we don't even know you or how you got in here."

Billy Batson:"Really Wally do I have to get you nachos every time for you to trust me."

Wally West:"......."

Kaldur:"......."

Artemis:"........."

Zatanna:".........."

Conner Kent:"........."

M'gann:"..........."

Dick Grayson:".........."

As they were all stunned and silence when Billy said that I enlightened them of who he was.

Tyler Rogers:"Team Billy Batson AKA Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel the team."

Billy Batson:"Wait you knew how."

Tyler Rogers:"Sorry kid that's a secret."

Artemis:"Wait you knew and didn't tell us."

Tyler Rogers:"Yes well to be honest it's kinda obvious the way he acts as if he is a child you know I put the pieces together and channeled my inner Batman to figure out his identity and the rest haha."

The team was stunned again by me and how I figured out Captain Marvel's identity but I had to cut it short with them asking Billy of what the adults had plan and the location of the villains which he told me and the team everything like on the show and Zatanna and Zatara getting the location of where the magical villains are at and we suited up and headed out to stop them once and for all.

(Captain America's POV)

As we were on the ship I looked at the duffle bag that was beside me with in it's contents was the helmet of fate and I would change a moment in the show forever hoping that if I wear the helmet with my mental defenses being strong that no one can enter it I hope that Zatara doesn't have to leave his daughter all alone like in the show.

Kid Flash:"So are you really sure I can't change your mind on this Cap."

Captain America:"Nope Wally you can't no one can I am the best choice for the next wearer with my mental defenses being more strong then before I hope that my theory is right."

Superboy:"And if it's not you will be trapped by the helmet forever."

Captain America:"Well I don't plan on leaving you guys for a long time to come so if worse comes to worse and I am trapped I'll just annoy fate to death until he releases me."

Artemis:"You know you are so damn reckless you know that."

Captain America:"Yeah but that is why you love me though Artemis."

Artemis:"*Blushes* whatever just be careful alright."

Miss Martian:"Five minutes out get ready everyone."

Robin:"Remember get the spell caster off guard to stop the spell."

Aqualad:"And work together and watch each others backs."

Captain America:"And most obvious don't die."

Zatanna:"Thanks for the vote of confidence Cap."

Captain America:"Don't worry you'll be fine Robin will protect you."

Zatanna:"*Smiles* yeah he will okay let's do this."

As we were close I asked Miss Martian to make me a hole so I could jump out and attack the enemy first which she did and I dropped down to Klarion's location for our fight with the witch boy.

As I was dropping down I pulled my shield out and nearing Klarion I slammed my shield against his force shield he made which prompted Klarion to look my direction and say to me.

Klarion:"Ah the Captain America I was wondering when I would meet you do you know both Vandal Savage and your brother want you dead."

Captain America:"Well I knew of my brother but Vandal why does he want me dead."

Klarion:"Oh because you know to much of our plans that sort of thing so die."

As he said that he tried blasting me with a lighting blast but I dodged out of the way and then the rest of the team came in trying to hit Klarion with attacks to no avail resulting me to tell the team through the link to target his cat which they did but were to late for Klarion knew that we would target the cat making the cat morph into a sabertooth and attacking us along with Klarion attacking us as well.

When we were having our asses handed to us by Klarion Billy transported in with him telling us that the gem in the middle put together with the other gem on the adult side will put everything back together.

And at hearing that I give Miss Martian a nod which she gives right back bring the bioship in making a hole dropping the duffle bag on the ground with me pulling out the helmet of fate and without a second thought I put it on.

As I put it on a big light shines over me for a few seconds and as it dies down I stand in the doctor fate suit but in a Captain America version suit with no cape and I was shocked that my theory was right and I wouldn't lose my body or mind to the fate helmet and I wasn't the only one even Klarion was shocked saying loudly.

Klarion:"HOW CAN YOU FIGHT OFF THE HELMET YOUR JUST A HUMAN CHILD!"

Captain America:"Nah Klarion I am more that just a human now let's dance you witch bitch."

Once I said that me and him flew at each other with even if I didn't have any magical attributes the helmet was feeding me of what spells to use and how to use them I even incorporated my shield using to hurt Klarion making it prime opportunity for Kid Flash to run in and steal the gem and toss it to me and without wasting time I say the incantation and Zatara says the same resulting in both the adult and kids to be reunited together.

As now that the world was put back together that was Klarion cue to leave but before he did I hooked a small camera on him that record anything and send it back to me for more info on the light and if they have any other tricks up their sleeves then in the original.

Once that was done we tied up the rest of the magical villains with Zatara coming up to me thinking I was doctor fate possessing my body with him saying.

Zatara:"Can you please release Captain America Doctor Fate."

The chance for me to fuck with him was in front of me so not missing the opportunity I put on my best Doctor fate voice and said to him.

Captain America:"NO."

Zatara:"Please Doctor Fate he is too young to be your container let me-."

Captain America:"To my knowledge he is older then he seems and is the perfect container for me so no."

Zatara:"Doctor Fate please he doesn't have the magical aptitude for magic and as my body is not fit like the Captain's I am still the perfect container."

Captain America:"Yes all true but I have something I need to tell you Zatara."

Zatara:"Yes and what is that."

Captain America:"That I'm fucking with you I am still me Doctor Fate didn't take me over but it is nice to know you care."

Zatara:"W-w-w-what are you serious."

Captain America:"Yep *Pulls of helmet* I was just fucking with you hahaha."

After I pulled that prank on him the team, Captain Marvel, and Batman either laughed out loud or smirked and chuckled as I explained to him of my new mental defenses he left with the magic villains to lock them up as another day passes full of adventures done.
