*3rd POV

"I am home..." A man's voice rang out as he casually entered the house. He saw Mary peeling potatoes for their dinner and Missy working on her homework.

Georgie walked over to his mom and kissed her on the cheek. "Welcome home." Mary said with a smile, happy that Georgie didn't seem upset with her for scolding him earlier.

Georgie grabbed a glass of water and walked toward Missy, who looked frustrated with her homework. "What's wrong?" he asked, sitting beside her and giving her a kiss on the head. He glanced at the homework Missy was struggling with.

Missy didn't mind Georgie's affection. She just sighed and complained about the homework in front of her. "How come math is easy for Sheldon and hard for me?" Missy said, looking at Georgie.

"Hmm, let me see... Arithmetic, huh? What don't you understand about this, Missy?" Georgie asked, pulling up a chair to sit next to her.

"Uhmm... everything?" Missy said hesitantly. Georgie didn't judge her; instead, he smiled. "Alright, let's do this. See this X symbol here?"Georgie pointed and Missy nodded.

"That's the multiplication symbol. What's it used for?" Georgie asked, watching Missy struggle to answer. "Multiplication is really useful in daily life. Tell me, how many friends do you have?"

"I have lots of friends!" Missy said proudly.

"Oh, that's great! Now imagine you're throwing a birthday party, and you want to invite... let's say 10 of your friends." Georgie said. Missy imagined the scenario as Georgie described it.

"How many slice of cakes would you need to share with your friends?"

"Ten!" Missy said confidently.

"But..." Georgie continued, "what if three popular girls came to your party, and you wanted to give them more slices than the others to make them your friends? Let's say you want to give each of them two pieces of cake. How many cakes would you need for the three girls?"

Missy grumbled and started counting on her fingers.

"And that's the purpose of multiplication!" Georgie explained. "You'd prepare the cakes to share with them, but you wouldn't know exactly how many until you do the math. So, 2 cakes × 3 girls = 6. Why 6? Because that's the total number of cakes you'd need to give to those three girls."

Missy sat quietly, thinking about Georgie's explanation. "Why don't I just make lots of cakes and share them with everyone?"

Georgie shrugged and whispered to Missy, "...It's just you and me, but we're poor..." He glanced at Mary, who was watching them.

Missy nodded, understanding their family's situation. "So, we won't waste the cakes Mom worked hard to make, alright?" Georgie said with a smile.

"Mm-hmm."

"So, do you understand this X now?" Georgie asked, looking at Missy.

"...You teach better than my school teacher." Missy replied, nodding because she understood Georgie's explanation more than what she learned at school.

"That's my baby sister! I knew you were smart. Let's check out this question in your book, okay? Let's see... how about this one?"

Georgie continued teaching Missy until she understood better. He didn't belittle her and patiently helped her even when she was a little slow to grasp the concepts.

Mary watched the two of them quietly, not wanting to disrupt the moment. She felt happy seeing them like this and hoped it wouldn't be the last time.

She almost forgot what she wanted to say to Georgie about Sheldon not having any friends.

"BOOM! WOOHOO! I knew you could do it!" Georgie's voice broke Mary's train of thought. She saw Missy hugging Georgie, giggling, and Georgie hugging her back with excitement.

"Now, let's move on to this ÷ symbol..." Georgie said.

Watching this, Mary decided to stop worrying and continued chopping potatoes and vegetables for dinner, grateful for the moment. If Missy really started to understand math, she'd be overjoyed. But deep down, Mary knew only Sheldon had special abilities among them.

*3rd POV – Dinner Time

"Missy… Mom, Dad, and Memaw want four pieces of fried chicken each. Could you please pass the chicken to them?" Georgie said to Missy, who was sitting across from him.

Missy refused, crossing her arms. "What? We only have 15 pieces of chicken! That's not fair because they'll get 12 pieces, and we're still growing! So, I'm gonna eat more!"

George chuckled and replied, "No, I don't need four pieces, Missy. It's okay if you want to eat more too."

"Yeah, sweetie, you can eat as much as you want." Mary added with a smile.

"Well, since you don't want that, then I'll take more chicken!" Connie Tucker joked, though it was clear she didn't mind.

Sheldon, sitting next to Georgie, was observing Missy with a puzzled expression. He noticed something unusual about Missy's argument. "See? That's why you're twins…" Georgie muttered in surprise.

Georgie's voice broke the moment of silence. Since yesterday, whenever Georgie spoke, everyone seemed to pay attention, and this time was no different.

"When did you learn to calculate? You couldn't even do simple math before!" Sheldon exclaimed, his words making George and Mary look at Missy with new eyes. Even Connie stared at her, feeling a bit embarrassed for not noticing earlier.

Mary, in disbelief, leaned closer to Missy. "Missy… Is it true?"

"Well… that's fantastic, Missy." George said awkwardly, taking a swig of his beer to dispel the tension.

"Yes, I'm so proud of you." Connie added, giving Georgie a playful pinch on the arm.

"Ouch!" Georgie exclaimed, rubbing his arm. Connie scowled at him knowingly, as if she'd figured out his little test.

Mary leaned over and kissed Missy's head. "Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful and smart daughter." she said, glancing at George. Their eyes met, but neither said a word.

Sheldon, however, wasn't letting it go. "Hold on! I tried teaching you before, but you didn't get it. Did you have a more competent teacher recently?" he asked, looking suspicious.

"Oh, absolutely." Missy said brightly. "And he promised we'd watch ALF together if I understood his teaching!"

"Who is it? Someone I know?" Sheldon asked curiously, intrigued by this teacher who had succeeded where he had failed.

As he awaited her answer, Georgie placed a hand on Sheldon's shoulder. "Ahem. Nice to meet you, kid. I'm Melissa Cooper's teacher." he said with a serious expression.

"You?! How is that possible?" Sheldon exclaimed, staring at Georgie in shock.

"Nothing's impossible in this world, child…" Georgie said in a wise, old-man tone, clearly mocking him.

"Mom!!" Sheldon called out, clearly frustrated.

"Georgie, stop teasing your brother." Mary scolded gently.

Georgie just shrugged and returned to his dinner. Connie, however, wasn't done with him. "Wait a minute! What did you mean earlier about Sheldon being twins with Missy?" she asked, her eyes narrowing.

"What?" George chimed in, his tone stern. "What have you been saying to Missy?"

Georgie glanced at Missy, who gave him a sweet smile. "Well, just look at her. Isn't she adorable?" Georgie said, making Missy giggle.

"Don't change the subject, young man!" Mary interjected, clearly not amused.

"Well… She said everyone always pays attention to Sheldon and not her. So, I told her that everyone loves her, and… Sheldon knows her better than anyone else, even I notice this that's why I make a song based on her experience." Georgie explained with a grin toward Missy.

"…" Silence filled the room, except for Sheldon.

"Of course, I know Missy better than anyone. I'm her twin, and twins have a bond like no one else." Sheldon said matter-of-factly.

"That's what I said." Georgie replied, ruffling Sheldon's hair.

Then, turning to the family, he grinned. "What are y'all waiting for? Go and kiss her now!"

Connie was the first to move, giving Missy a kiss, followed by Mary and George, who embraced her warmly. Missy chuckled at the attention, enjoying the moment.

After the mixture of lighthearted and heartfelt moments, everyone returned to dinner with smiles, teasing and joking with one another.

"So, Missy and Sheldon, how was school today?" George asked.

"Nothing special. I just learned some new things… at the library." Sheldon replied with a sigh.

Missy, on the other hand, eagerly shared stories about her school day, including gossip she'd heard from friends.

Mary turned her attention back to Sheldon. "How about you, Sheldon? Did you make any new friends at school?"

"I don't really need friends. I have Georgie." Sheldon replied.

"Hey, I can't always be there for you. You need to make your own friends, okay?" Georgie interrupted, earning a glare from Mary, which he ignored.

"I'm fine on my own. Statistically speaking, having friends increases the likelihood of interpersonal conflicts and reduces the time I can spend on intellectual pursuits." Sheldon explained.

"No. You need friends." Georgie said firmly.

"Why?"

"Because that's what humans do. You can't do everything alone. Even Stephen Hawking had a life partner, his wife. Albert Einstein had a family." Georgie reasoned, his tone sharp but caring.

Sheldon grumbled, but Georgie's next words softened his resolve. "Besides… Mom would be so happy if you had a friend."

"…Alright."

Georgie smiled and patted Sheldon's head. "Here's a clue for you: go to the library and find an Asian guy to be your friend."

"Why Asian?" George asked, confused.

Georgie gave him a look. "What?" George more confused by Georgie look.

"You're a Bully, right?" Georgie said bluntly.

Almost choking on his beer George said "…Of course no…."

"Now you getting what I said right?" Georgie replied with a smirk. Connie and Mary exchanged knowing looks but said nothing and awkwardly smiling at Sheldon.

Missy, however, spoke up. "Because he's alone too, like you! Now, come on, Georgie. Let's watch ALF!" she said, tugging him away from the table.
