Do you remember anything

An hour later Shen was waiting in front of the operating room when Jennifer and Hana got there. Hana been crying after she heard what happen and demand answers. Jennifer calm Hana down before turning to Shen and ask in a low voice. What happen, how did Brittany get hurt. Shen look down toward his feet and the first thing he say was I'm sorry. She been drinking on the road and when I was checking into the hotel she disappear when I came out. I look everywhere for her and when I found her she was walking up the trail to where the waterfall is at.

Wait so your saying Brittany fell down the waterfall Hana start crying again. No Shen say and please listen first don't assume yet. When I caught up to Brittany she was already near the top, while I was still below. It was my fault because I call after her and when she turn to look she slip on the stair and feel down from the step. It was because I call her name that's why she fell, I am so sorry that this happen to her. Shen sat down on the chair looking distress and Jennifer comfort him and say it's only an accident so please don't blame yourself.

Shen sat down on a chair outside the emergency room waiting for the doctor to some out. An hour have pass, the emergency light finally turn off and the doctor came out. When Jennifer saw the doctor she walk up to him and ask how is my sister, what is her condition like. The doctor taking his mask off and say she survive her fall, she has a broken femur and a head injury but nothing major. We will put her into a room so you guys can visit her in a bit. She is still under anesthetic so she won't be waking up until tomorrow morning.

We will know more about her after she wake up. She can only have one visitor to stay with her over night the rest will have to come back in the morning. Alright thank you doctor, Jennifer turn around and ask Shen to stay the night and they will come back early tomorrow morning. Hana wanted to stay but decided to leave with Jennifer because she didn't want to be crying and disturb Brittany rest.

After Jennifer and Hana left to get a hotel to rest, Shen walk quietly to Brittany side and sat. Shen started blaming himself and wish he never left alone. He knows that Brittany do stupid thing when she is under the influence but he let his guard down for just a second and the happen. Shen stare at Brittany sleeping face and thought to himself about how careless he was. Shen head was in turmoil but all he could do now is sit by Brittany side until she wake up.

The next morning around 7 in the morning Brittany slowly open her eye and all she see was the white walls and her head was bandage. She felt someone holding her hand and when she look down she saw Shen sleeping on the chair next to her holding her hands. She try to take her hands out of Shen grip without waking him up but just a little movement from Brittany and Shen woke up. In surprise Shen saw that Brittany was awake before him and stand up where he was sitting and made a loud noise which made Brittany frown.

Just after Brittany woke up Jennifer and Hana walk into the room and was surprise to see Brittany awake. Hana was the first to ran to Brittany side and bombard her with questions. Jennifer realize Brittany looks confuse so she pull Hana aside and whisper to her to not ask so much question and they have to wait for the doctor to come check on Brittany to get more information.

The nurse who was in charge of Brittany came in to check on Brittany and realize that Brittany was already awake. Good morning Ms. Song how are you feeling, do you feel pain anywhere? Brittany look at the nurse and reply I feel fine just a bit lost. Alright I will let the doctor know that you are awake so he can come and check on you so please don't move so much until after the doctor check on you. Okay but nurse I need to go use the bathroom Brittany said. I can help you to the bathroom since I'm here reply the nurse.

Brittany didn't realize that her left leg was hurt and stitch up until she move her blanket. The nurse realize Brittany is in shock about her own leg so she went over to Brittany side and help her down the bed. Lets go use the bathroom first and I will go get the doctor to come and check on you. Brittany was having a hard time getting off the wheel chair onto the toilet that the nurse had to help her slowly move onto the toilet. After Brittany finish the nurse brought her back and help her onto the bed and left the room.

A little after the nurse left the room the doctor came in with the nurse behind him. Good morning Ms. Song how are you this morning the doctor ask her in a gentle voice. Good Morning doctor I think I'm doing fine but what going on, how did I get here? Doctor came closer to Brittany to exam her to see how her condition is. Shen who been sitting quietly ask the doctor it there is anything they need to worry about. The doctor then told everyone that because Brittany hit her head so she may not remember the accident. Ms. Song what was the last thing you remember after waking up.

Brittany gave the doctor a confuse look and reply getting off early from work. So do you remember anything else after getting of work. Brittany thought hard before giving the doctor an answer. It's ok Ms. Song don't think too much into what happen, but I will have you stay here a couple more days so we can check on your condition the doctor said. Okay thank you doctor. As the doctor and nurse left the room both Hana and Jennifer told Brittany they have to back due to work and they will be back to see her. Brittany nod her head and was feeling tired so she fell asleep.
