Crazy diet

Elizabeth's POV

I thought I heard something else so I asked..

" what , what you said?"

" next Friday Miss."

I started shaking my head and said " no this can't be.. its a joke its a joke.." saying that I walked out of there towards the elevator, Abby followed me..

" Betty wait Betty..what happened. "

" I- hic- can't-hic- do this."

"Betty breath ok..now relax and tell me what happened. "

we both entered the elevator and went to the parking lot..I sat in her car and she asked again..

" what happened.."

I looked at her with tears in my eyes..and said " my campus interview is on the same day."

she got shocked but she understood me and said.." its ok..I will cancel the application. "

" but what about mom ...and it will affect the Academy. "

" don't worry kiddo its on me I will talk to mom."

I nodded and said " I want to be there with you."

she started the car and drove us home..

as I entered everyone was surprised to see me..Luna theo's daughter and Lucas Abby's son came running towards me and hugged me ..I hugged them back..

" I missed you muffins."

" we missed you too aunt Betty.. "

" hey my girl how are you " dad said opening his arms for me. I hugged him and said

" I am good dad ."

he raised his eyebrow and asked "really?"

I just smiled at him..as I smiled Theo gestured me asking what happened?..I just shook my head..thats when mom came out of the kitchen and said

" ohh you remembered you have a family."

but before I could reply Abby said.

" mom we got a situation...and because of that I don't want Betty to participate as she have her campus interview on same day....I am canceling the application tomorrow.."

mom got angry and said." are you out of your mind Abby..you know we will lose our reputation.."

Abigail's POV

well when it comes to my family and my profession ..I will chose my family..and this time its Betty.. she had already sacrificed her dreams for me once and I won't let it happen again. so i decided to talk to mom . i know mom will hate the idea but I have to do it for Betty.

" no mom I am not ..i know the consequences..but for Betty please try to understand."

mom looked at Betty and said

" what is there to understand. it clearly says that this girl is selfish..what is so important to her than her family? Some stupid interviews won't change her life, but your career will be destroyed Abby."

listening to moms words..Betty smirked, tears were flowing down her cheeks and she said

" don't worry Abby i will perform after all its about your career.. " saying that she left the house..

" why you always force your decision on her mom why?..why she should sacrifice. its fine if I lose my students I will gain them again..but please don't do this with Betty."

" enough Abigail...that girl is good at nothing and finally she is dancing she should focus on it and not on some stupid dreams."

" her dreams are not stupid mom..you know what was her biggest dream she wanted to become the best ballerina like grandm..but I destroyed her dream."

yes today i should tell them the truth..the truth which i was hiding for all this years.

" what you mean ?" mom asked..

" you remember mom when Betty last performed and she won the regionals..but you were upset because she fell at the end of the dance..and then you asked her to quit dancing..but mom have you ever asked her that inspite of such an amazing dancer how did she fell?..well let me tell you then because a day prior to the competition I pushed her out of jealousy I thought you will love her more...but I never thought that because of my foolishness she had to pay such a big price..mom..she dance with her swollen feet that day...she was in pain she could have easily gave up but no she dance for you for IDA. now tell me mom how she is selfish. she put her family first when she was just seven mom.. and now when finally she got chance to fly, you are chopping off her wings..please don't do this to her please.."

I was crying like a crazy, theo came and hugged me because theo is the only person who knows this..

" its ok Abby don't cry anymore..Betty won't like it" theo said.

" I am such a bad big sister Theo I am so bad." I said..

" how could you hide such a big thing from us Abby...for all these years I have kept my child away from me..I.. " saying this mom started crying.

dad consoled mom and said " do you want to talk to her.."

" no no I can't face her..I can't , i need time.." mom said..dad took her to their bedroom..we all dispersed..

next morning I went to academy and was shocked..

" what are you doing here..?" I asked..

Elizabeth's POV

I know my mom will never understand me.. i left home saying that I will participate..so next morning I went to the Academy and started my practice.

Abby was shocked to see me..she asked.

" what are you doing here?"

" what you mean? ...I am practicing..".

" no Betty i am canceling the application..we are off the competition. "

" no we are not..come on i am working hard for it.." I replied.

" you are working hard for your internship too Betty."

" yes but I will ask dad to pull up some strings and contact the Thompson's " I said winking my eye.

" its something that you hate.."

" yes and i also hate to leave the things half way so please don't worry about my internship..and let's focus of dance.."

as I said this Abby hugged me tightly and said..

" I can't thank you enough Betty.. "

" ohh thank me with pizza after I win the competition because I am on strict diet.."

" diet? and you? are you kidding me girl?"

" you see my secret mentor is a vampire." I whispered.

saying that we both started laughing... we continued with the practice at the lunch Eve joined us..

as soon as she saw me and said.

" what on earth happened to you Betty.. "

" she is on some crazy diet.." Abby answered before me..

" what Abby no.." I said "I told you it's a secret" I whispered.

" what diet ...wait have you thought about my offer.." Eve asked.

" what offer?" Abby questioned

" well Abby as you know your sister is a hot chick..I mean so hot that any guy would go crazy for her..so I asked her to be my model for my upcoming fashion show I offered her to be a show stopper."

Abby was surprised to hear this, she looked at me and asked " really...then what do you think.".

" whats there to think of course no....guys you know I want to be an architect."

" ya but just think you will be surrounded by hot and sexy men all the time " Abby said

" well on that context I already have a man in my life.."

" yes who is neither hot nor sexy.." Eve replied rolling her eyes..

" my vote goes to you Eve" Abby said patting Eve's back..

I was surprised " how could you do this to your own blood.." I asked Abby.

" come on this is an independent country and I am an independent woman ..I have right to vote.."

" ohh ya whatever.." saying that I got up and walked out of the hall..

" hey Betty wait..wait you scumbag " Eve came running behind me.

I entered the elevator i didn't wait for her..she came down. from another elevator.. and started running again..

" Betty wait.." finally she got me..

" do you have any work with me Miss White.."

" come on Betty let me drop you home.."

" only if you promise not to say a word about Jake.. "

she rolled her eyes and agreed..

we got in the car and she dropped me home..
