13 LEAVING THE 'THE OUTCASTS' GUILD

The whole ground descends into silence after the mention of Royal Court by Ren. Everyone is shocked and are trembling at the mere mention of this name.

Royal Court is run by the Royal family, the current Judge of the Royal Court is 'Mark Rudra' who is a rank9 mage himself. He is uncle of the current king Vikram and the brother of his father Porus. Although he has a title "SAMAVARTHI" which means 'One who treats all alike' but there is only so much he can do because, most of the other members of the Court are nobles who are vile and opportunists and they will only do things which only benefits them.

'Even if we went to the Royal Court, I don't think we can get out of this predicament, instead the court may punish us for attacking our own guild captain and will definitely punish us and they may even label us as traitors to kingdom, can't say there is no chance that those nobles will leave us, afterall they all hold a grudge against father' thought Elena.

As Elena thinking this, David who is below the stage just infront of it, is amassing his mana to start a fight with Ren. He didn't think through like Elena, but he knew that going to Royal Court is bad news and he is very angry because they all had been played into the hands of Ren. After gathering his mana in a couple of seconds, he ran like flash and is on the stage before one can blink and he raises his right fist and is about to hit Ren.

Suddenly Elena who is standing still at the corner of the stage, moves at her maximum speed after she saw David. Then she moves in front of David and pins him down with all her power.

Seeing What Elena is doing, David shouts, " Elena, are you out of your mind, why are you stopping me? I cant take this bullshit anymore. We just need to kill him and then make you the captain and everything will go back to same as when father is the captain."

Hearing this, Elena pins him with more strength, at the same time Jack and Nat comes beside her and she tells them both to hold him down and to shut his mouth. Then standing up she looks at Ren who looks like someone who is having their best time of their life. Scoffing at his look, Elena says, " Sorry for his misbehaviour Captain, I just want to ask, is there no other way than to ban us from the guild."

Looking at her Ren says, " I already made my side clear this morning, but you guys rejected it. The offer is valid even now."

Hearing this, Elena thinks, ' Maybe I should accept his offer but I will have to ask him to leave Nat and take only me. Its fine even if I have to live with this jerk if he can help me to avenge father.' Thinking this with a defeated look on her face, Elena looks at Ren. Looking at her expression, Ren knows what she is thinking and can't help but lick his lips in anticipation which disgusts Elena.

Just when she was about to say something to Ren, Nat suddenly says, " We will accept the punishment and leave this guild."

Shocked by what she heard from Nat, Elena looks at her and asks, " What are you saying Nat? We can't leave this guild. You didn't forget our goal, right?"

Nat shooks her head and says, "No I didn't forget our goal Elena. But father doesn't want to sacrifice our lives for revenge. Its best that we leave the guild."

Hearing this, Elena thinks for a bit and looks at Ren who annoyingly looks at Nat for spoiling his plans and says, " Captain Ren, we will accept the punishment for attacking you and we will leave the guild. And thanks for having us with you all this time. And lastly, I will remember what happened today till I can repay this favour so, please look forward to it." with a smile that screams 'watch your back from now on' and signals Jack and Nat to leave David.

Getting free, he immediately tries to attack Ren, he can't get calm without doing some thing to him, but he was stopped by Elena and she says to him, " Not now David, we will get our time, wait till then." Hearing Elena's words, David calms down. He looks at Ren one last time and says, " This place is full of shit, I am going to pack my things and wait for you guys outside this place."

Saying this David leaves the stage and goes towards his room to pack. But before he leaves, Ren says, " All four of you guys, surrender your dimensional rings, the resources guild provided to you and any other things that you are using which are guild's property and don't think you can steal something, we have a log of what you are using and we will check everything before you guys leave."

Hearing this, David stops in his track and takes the ring on his index finger and threw it on the ground and says, " Here take the ring it has all the resources that I got from the guild." And then walks away.

Looking at David's back, Elena says, " Jack, Nat, we should also move and pack our stuff." then leaves the stage. Everyone present there looks at her and says, " Elena, you guys don't have to leave, we will talk to captain and asks him to forgive you, Alfred left us, please you guys too don't leave us."

Looking at them, Elena says, " I am sorry for leaving you all like this, but don't worry, we will all meet again, till then stay safe. And thank you all for taking care of us all this time." Saying this, she bows to the people who took care of them since their childhood and leaves. Then she starts walking towards her room, next both Jack and Nat says, "Thank you all for taking care of us, we will miss you" then they too bows to them once and goes to their respective rooms.

After 2 hours, around noon, at the guild grounds of The Outcasts guild

There are four persons standing with a lot of luggage near the entrance of the guild grounds. There is one person standing opposite to them, he is none other than the lackey that took Elena this morning to Ren's office. He is holding a book which consists of the details of the things that were taken by the guildmates. And he checked all the things that the 4 people took.

The checking finished in an hour and they are waiting for the permission to leave the place and the lackey went to Ren to report. After waiting for another 15 minutes, he comes back and says that they can leave the guild now. Everyone is sending off the four people who they all raised like their own and they are saddened due to this. Even Elena, Jack and Nat are also looking dull but only David is looking kinda excited and also looks like he is thinking about something.
