Day 2 Woman Are Weak?

As soon as I walked inside the tension in the tavern was through the roof as the saying goes.

The people in the tavern were dead silent and there was no music playing. People were just sitting around and drinking very slowly. They seemed to be waiting for something or someone. As I took two steps inside I saw five people tense and slowly stand up. It was looking like I might have a fight coming up very soon. When I walked a couple steps further in the tavern one of the five terrans came up to me and blocked my way.

"Can I help you?" I asked. "Is there a reason you are blocking my way into the tavern? Are you too drunk to realise you are in my way or do you need to leave and are expecting me to move out of your way."

"You should leave here now, women should not be here when vampires are around. They prefer to prey on your kind. The werewolves might protect you but I don't want to chance it so its best you leave. You are not from around her but it isn't safe in here right now. Go to another tavern if you know whats good for you. Though a girl like yourself should stay out of taverns in general. Didn't your parents teach you better then this?" The older man said with condescending tone of voice.

"OK, first off I am where I should be right now. Second off I am a woman NOT a girl. You say that a WOMAN like me shouldn't be in a tavern. I bet I could take you and your buddies out before you could get one punch on me. I travel around and handle myself just fine as it is. Also you really think I am here alone, then you have another thing coming to you when they show up. If you don't get out of my way I will have the werewolves leave your town to rot for a while and not protect all of you poor and helpless townsfolk. I am personal and close friends with the Alpha here. Hey, Alfred I saw you step out and then try to hide again. Get out here and get this old man out of here or I will be forced to move him out of my way personally. Oh and for the record, NO vampire will dare touch me as they will suffer greatly for it." I said slowly and clearly with my temper starting to show.

Alfred looked at me and nodded his head and then disappeared into a room. I assumed that he was going to get Damien or something. I knew that the room the vampires were in was back that way as well and was happy that he was near them to make sure they are safe and secure. Why hadn't he came out though and made them move like I called for him to do. I know that I wasn't his master or anything but I kind of figured that Damien would punish him once he finds out that he did nothing for me at all. I knew I could have any of the wolves step in and stop them but they are just Terran. I couls easily handle this scumbag on my own. I did not want to have to fight an old man who has been drinking. All he had done so far is insult me and block my way inside the tavern. Was that enough to beat the shit out of him? The answer so far was no.

"I can teach you a thing or two about thinking you can act like a man, when you are a weak woman." The old man said. "Lets teach her about how she is the weaker sex boys."

He grabbed me and the other five stood up and came towards me. I acted like they had me and they took me outside. He had only grabbed my wrist and pushed me backwards to force me out the door. As I left the Tavern willingly I could feel the tension go up a notch around me and I could both heart and smell the lust starting to come off of all but one of the men. The one who looked the youngest did not seem to be happy about his current situation and was worried about what people would think and see. He wasn't usually in this group as I could see. He didn't trust them and that made me interested in him but I knew that I didn't have the time to dig into that right now but I would get around to it later if he behaved himself and didn't make me kill him as well as the others. Only four of the men came out following the old man who had my wrist. The other one stopped and it appears shut and locked the tavern door after they left.

I saw Cain near the front door of the tavern, it appears that they were all ready to be presented in a better light as my seethe. I looked to the left and saw Georgina standing by the door partially crouching to make sure she was out of the sun rays and was staying in the shadows. Apparently she indeed obeyed and stayed by my side. I hadn't gotten far enough in the tavern to have her step inside just yet. Still she stayed nearby and hid from the sun so she didn't burn anymore then she did crossing the street. I was proud of her in that moment, she risked herself and the pain in order to obey my order to stay with me. Obedience was more important to her then pain and suffering. I will remember that in the future and will handle her differently in her treatment of Cain as well.

I waved my free hand as soon as I saw Cain step outside and shift his footing into a fighting stance. One of the guys saw me and looked over at the Inn.
