Day 2 Paperwork and mobile version

We all headed into work. I hoped I would finally get some clarity and what the hell happened. we went to our rooms and tried to open the door but there was a sign on the door asking Damien and I go meet in the break room. I headed over there behind Damien. There was some paperwork on the tables and a sign that said to please read them and see if we want to take part in that part of the game as well.

I sat down and glanced over to Damien. He nodded to me and started reading the papers. I followed his example and did the same. This paperworkk was fasinating even though I was bored having to read it and I really wanted to find out what is going on with Cain and what happened to him and I both.

The paperwork was talking about a way to make our slave more real in reality and allow us to play this game mobile as well as in the special room. I looked at Damien with a smile on my face.

"Are you done reading the paperwork Damien?" I asked

He nodded and replied, "I like this idea and the fact that we can make more money. I want to do it, though I don't know how they will go about making our slaves more real to us. I want to do it mobile as well as in the room. I love how I get to interact with objects as if they are real as well and move around to be a part of the gaming experience."

"I am wondering that too. I am excited to see what this game could become. I will sign and accept this if you will. We can do this together too. Unless of course you are to scared to do it with me." I said with a smirk on my face.

Damien laughed and said "I already signed the paperwork. I did notice that there was no starting date yet but we are almost out of school so I am guessing that the timing will be right after then or months in the future."

"I wonder if you are going to be a part of the camp when school lets out as well with me. Claire and Ethan will do doing it." I said with a smirk still on my face.

"Of course I will be for the week long camp for work. I have everything just about listed out that I will be bringing with me including food and drinks. I can't wait to be able to be in the game as much as WE can be. I just hope you can last each day as long as I want to last." Damien said in a challenging tone of voice.

"I can match you or go longer then you can in the game I am sure of that so bring on the challenge Damien. I will take you on and beat you." I said with my voice filled with confidence.

We both laughed and got up to head to the rooms so we can take part in our work day. I got a text from Claire just as we got to our doors. I stopped and looked at Damien.

"What is it? Everything ok?" Damien said slightly worried.

"Yeah just got a text from Claire, I didn't even know our phones would work in the building. She just said she got papers offered and she signed them. They asked if she wanted to take the game mobile or not. So it looks like all versions are going to try to go mobile as well as here in the building." I replied.

"Cool, lets go play now." Damien said as he opened up the door and walked in.

I followed his example and walked into my room. There was normally a light no but this time it was pitch black.

"Did you sign your papers Onyx Athena Falstrom?" A voice said.

"I did." I replied.

"Do you want to be a part of both parts or just the mobile version?" The voice said.

"Both of course. I would love to have Cain more in my life." I replied.

"So you like your slave that you got then?" Again the voice spoke up.

"Yes I do like Cain though I would like the ability to customize my slave once the race is choosen. But all in all I am fine with him." I replied.

"Very well, that is a feature that has been requested but many of our players on this day. We will look into giving that ability in the future. As for when the mobile version will be released. We are looking to test it out June 8th. That will be two days after the camp is over. We want to see how you do with the longer days of gameplay before it release it. Thank you for being a part of this alpha trial. Please enjoy your game play now." The voice said.

Just then a dim lit came on and I put my hand on the palm scanner to log in to the game.

Thinking to myself 'so the mobile release date is set as is the week of the camp. I am glad I get out of school May 26th. I will have a few days to do laundry and pack before I have to head to the camp.'

The screen lit up like it was logging in but something else came up on the screen. It was Damien rather then the game. There was a green hue to it. It was almost like night vision goggles or camera appear to be on TV.

"Hey Damien, can you hear me?" I asked.

No reply at all. I saw the door behind him that leads to the hall open up. I froze and turned around. Nothing was going on in my room. I turned back to the screen and continued to watch. Someone who I had no idea who it was walked into his room. I couldn't see the face as the person was wearing what looked like a cloak was hiding the persons face. Only thing that was for sure was that the person was a woman.

"Damien, look out behind you." I yelled and pounded on the wall between us. "Nothing changed, it it clear he can't hear nor see me. What is going on? Hello, is someone there. HELLO!!!"

The next second all I could see was something glint and see a knife in the woman's right hand.

Everything went completely black. NO screen, no light, there was nothing at all except one sound that sounded like a scream. I ran to the door but it was locked and I couldn't get out.
