Day 2 New Recruits and Food

Someone yelled out the wolves have now turned on us, our town is now doomed the vampires will now swarm us and kill us all.

I laughed and spoke up, "Only those foolish enough to try to kill the vampires that are under the werewolves protection are going to end up dead. They protect my vampires as I am friends with their alpha, Devlin. We are very close friends. I gave the vampires of this town the chance to join me and serve me or be left behind and free for whomever wants to hunt and kill them. These vampires are coming to serve me and will leave with me to go back to my castle and live in my castle or in the villages under the Netherworld rule."

Gasps could be heard when I said the name Netherworld.

A very old couple spoke up as they were walking down the road, "Young miss never say that name for they are blood mages and will recognise their names are being spoken and will track you down and teach you to shut up and never say their name through torture."

"Dear Elder sir, I thank you for your wisdom but I assure you that nothing like that will happen anymore. That was a time in the past and the new ruler will not allow those sort of barbaric acts to happen anymore." I replied.

"You speak as if you know them personally. They are a very old line and their new ruler I heard was one of the most powerful in existence. She even commands the undead without lifting much of a finger." The old woman spoke. "Please my dear be careful not to get their attention or bring on their wrath. You are too beautiful for that kind of scars and it would be a shame to have to suffer your life that way."

"I again thank you for your wisdom and advice as well as your concern. The head of the netherworld family is not a necromancer but is very powerful. I can assure you that I am very safe. My family would never attempt to kill me as they all are weaker then myself. I will not allow that sort of torture to happen unless they abuse and try to claim that which they are not. I am the head of the household so you are aware. It is why I am traveling around to villages and gathering the leaderless vampires to give them a home and to reduce the fear and hate they have caused this country." I said with a noble voice.

All 3 of my friends turned to me with shocked looks on their faces. I waved at them and mouthed later to them and they all nodded at me. I could tell this was going to take a lot of explaining. While I was speaking the older couple were shocked and another 5 vampires showed up since the sun was now below the houses and it was pretty much all in shadow. It looks like all of the vampires but 7 have shown up already from yesterday. 3 of those 5 though I have never seen before in my life. The other 2 seem to be leading them towards me. If no more show up out of the woodwork I will have a seethe of 32 to 35 vampires to transport to my castle and land. If they all are worthy at the very least.

On a personal note, it felt pretty nice to have a life long mission I can do while completing other smaller missions. I knew that every character would have one that would unveil to them as they played but I never expected to be on a save the vampires and make them look better crusade.

I walked over to the older couple to protect them from the wolves and terrans as they marched to their deaths. They stepped back as I walked over to them.

"I really wont hurt you. The only reason they are going to be punished was the fact they thought they could try to r@pe me and kill that which is mine. If I can't protect what is mine then I will need to stand down as the head of my household and that would put my cousin on the throne there and he wants to enslave all of the terrans and force vampiric rule to be absolute. That is why I am the head over him. The family supported my plans for the future and my goals for this country. This will do nothing but bring more peace to this world. He wants war and death, I want peace and happiness as well as life." I said.

"We wish you all the luck in the world and may your reign be long, VERY long, my dear." The old woman replied. "Though I noticed that you didn't count yourself terran like the rest of us. Are you not terran?"

"Indeed, it seems you have figured it out. I am a born vampire and our family line came from terrans long ago but our blood magic curse eventually made us into vampires. We can eat terran food and live as well as drink blood. My family prefers to eat actual food and drink animal blood. We only drink terran blood once a year as a request to our ancestors and we NEVER kill a person unless forced, be it any race at all. Also we only command vampires as that is our nature. Sharing our blood changes a vampire into a more terran creature that does not need to drink blood as much and can temporarily walk in the sun light so we are some of the heads of all vampire seethes because of that. It is how I know which villages and town to visit as they are masterless and need to be brought into order again. Whether it is with a new master put in place or by taking those lost home and giving them a new purpose... it is our duty to watch over other vampires in our country." I said with a smile large enough they could see my fangs.

They nodded and said, "It is good to know the truth. We support you fully and would love to one day see your dream and purpose come to be. We will not share your secrets with anyone but we do have family all over the place and will send word that Netherworld is gathering the lost souls of the vampires to give them a home and make the world a safer place for all. With your permission of course."

I smiled and nodded, "Thank you for that it will make my mission in life easier and help me get the word out. Now to get back to the task of bringing these vampires under my rule. Please do have a lovely day."

I turned and headed into the tavern again this time with a new purpose and with a lot of food waiting for them all. I was not expecting everyone to show up though I should of counted on that as well.
