Day 1 First Group Battle

Everyone froze and time seemed to stand still. Just then werewolves appeared on the rooftops of the nearby buildings.

"Do not attack unless I command it." Damien said. "I will want no bodies left when this fight is over so tonight you will get to eat fresh Terran and their pets tonight. The Vampires here are NOT to be touched, they are allies to us, as are the Fay, werewolf and magicborn over there. Understand my command howl."

The chorus of howls was heard all around us. Damien smiled and leaned against the wall of the building.

"This is your show, Lady Lilith. Let me know how you would like to proceed." Damien said calmly and amused.

"My Lady Lilith, we over here await your command as well" Chimed in Claire.

"Can I have that one as a play toy? I await your decision Lady Lilith. Oh and that pretty boy over there too. Can I have them both?" Asked Ethan with joy and hope filling his voice.

I couldn't help this but I started laughing and that is when I forgot about my fangs.

"Oh my god that is a Noble VAMPIRE. We have to own her at all costs. They are almost nonexistent now. If we could teach her to obey us no vampires would ever bother us as she could command them all. I want her and I want her now. Obey me and bring me her and her pet alive. Then can be hurt though." Amelia said with menance.

"My orders are simple, kill them all but SHE is mine. NO quarter and NO mercy." I yelled to all. "Cain you are to kill the dogs first, they are afraid of vampires so that gives you the upper hand and then take out any Terran that tries to come near you with the exception of Alfred" I told him quietly.

Cain nodded and disappeared from sight.

"Where did he go? Where did you send him?" Amelia screamed at me.

My only reply was to draw my knife and say, "Begin now." in a calm amused voice.

Everything happened in a flash, people came towards me with weapons raised and I could hear someone chanting something. I was still looking around but people didn't seem to want to go near me. I remembered then that I was the one they wanted alive so I needed to move and kill people. The next thing I knew I had a neck in my hands and I barely remember thinking about moving and with a simple twist their neck was snapped. I realized then that I need to get used to my speed and strength or people I don't want hurt could end up hurt easily. The next thing I knew a couple people I have never seen before came out of the shop and seemed to be dodging everyone in the way heading straight towards me. They did something that I couldn't quite see and poles came out of nowhere with collar like things on them that went for my neck. I couldn't help think that it was like what I have seen with dog catchers and those catching poles with the string on them.

I could tell that their goal was to use the poles to grab my neck and put a slave collar on my neck. I couldn't let that happen. I will not be a tool or a pawn. All the sudden something clicked or snapped in me. I dont exactly know how to describe it but I just felt very powerful and VERY threatened. This power I felt inside me said that I was more then I knew I was. That I mattered and could be something great in this game. I felt like a god but yet also like I was a someone who mattered to hundred of people. I have no idea why I felt this way as I was a nobody in reality.

The next moment I felt something around my neck and before I could react pain shot through my entire body. I found myself on my knees with a collar on me and being forced into a submissive pose. I couldn't believe this, I was caught. That powerful feeling I had just had crashed in a heartbeat. The connection that I felt with something that I cant describe came to a crashing halt. I felt like I was numb and yet in so much pain I couldn't help but scream. Everything seemed so far away from me yet right there with me.

"Lilith!!! NO!!!" Claire screamed. "Dont let then win, you have to fight back. Please I just got to you in the game. We haven't done a single quest together yet."

"Fight back you idiot" Ethan yellled at me. "Do not insult us your friends by giving in and giving up."

I just fell completely to the ground and lay there. The pain was so bad I couldn't do anything. My body was not my own anymore. I turned my head to the side and caught a glimpse of Damien.

"Get the hell up now or I will never kiss you ever, I mean it you have to fight and get up." Damien yelled at me.

Right then something clicked in me. I was in a game and I was about to lose. Me! Lose a game, never. I am undefeated in every game I have played and I am not going to be defeated in this game. I can fight. My martial arts skills were honed with a fine tooth comb. I didn't win junior Nationals in karate for nothing. I wasn't a grandmaster at the right old age of 15 for nothing. I worked hard to get where I was and to be undefeated. That feeling I had again about being powerful clicked inside me again. I reached up to my neck and grabbed that collar with both hands. The more I grabbed the collar the worse the pain got that was going through my body. For some reason that seriously pissed me off. The more pain I felt the more I felt in touch with my character self. I felt an added strength coming to me from somewhere. When I closed my eyes I saw an image of Cain safe laying on the ground in an alley saying something.

"Whatever you need from me Master, take it. I am yours and truly yours. You gave me everything that I am and the ability to walk in the sun." Cain said to me.

The power just kept coming. I knew I had to stop so I didn't kill Cain. Then again I felt like I could bring him back as well. His life was mine and I wasn't going to let him go.

"I am a noble and will NOT be owned." I yelled.
