53 Drinks and Quest
Everyone burst out laughing at her innocent seeming comment. I caught the smirk and knew she said it on purpose as he gave her a subtle slap to her face with his comment. I was laughing so far that tears started to fall down my face. Damien "Devlin" and Claire "Eve" were laughing pretty hard as well. Ethan's "Adam" face was going more and more red by the minute.
"Adam, really Cupid's Panties and Unicorn Kisses. What the hell are you thinking? You are my boyfriend. Why would you get such girly drinks? I don't know about your choices at this bar. Even I ordered something more regular." Eve replied with humor and tears in her eyes.
"Damien, why do you have such drinks in your tavern. These drinks are a lot more modern then the current times." Ethan said with his face solid red and through gritted teeth. "Ramona I never asked you for edible glitter stars either. So you saying I did can get you punished."
"So sorry Master, I didn't know you didn't want them to know you liked these sorts of drinks. I won't do it again and will just give you your drinks without naming or describing them to you out loud. I thought you would be happy with me for announcing it. I hope you don't punish me too much again. I will be unable to walk, talk or move around without being sore again. " She said sounding like she was fearing the results but by the end it sounded provocative and like she was hoping to be punished.
We all raised our eyebrows and started to laugh. Her implied statement could be taken innocently or as she actually intended it to be taken as. Which was dirty and in line is pure bliss. I realized that Cain had left and Micheal had grabbed me a chair during all of this, so I sat down and got comfortable while I waited for Cain to bring me back my drink. My preference wasn't for anything specific as I was still to young to drink outside of the game. So I didn't need to give Cain a specific drink request and just hoped he didn't embarrass me like Ramona did to Ethan.
Alfred came back with a food platter that had ham and a full chicken on it with some cheese and crackers as well as a glass and bottle of Merlot for Devlin. Abel came back with some sort of Red wine and a cherry in it. Finally Cain came back and brought me a real bloody mary that was spiked with real blood. I could smell that it was terran blood as well.
There was a bit of silence while we enjoyed our drinks before Claire spoke up, "So does anyone have a quest yet? I have done two so far. One was to teach me what Abel liked to eat and the other was to get used to using my magic and whats weak and strong against what."
"So far I only have a mission to save the vampires and bring those that are lost under my household. It is a life mission versus a quest that won't take as long. I am hoping to find a quest very soon so I can get more adjusted to my abilities here although this terran village has shown me a lot of what I can do already. But now my seethe is set up and people are in place. I have teams, guards that can walk in the day as well as the night, people with some kick ass magical abilities and much more just waiting to be seen as they grow." I replied.
"I have had 3 missions so far that was done and they were gathering my lost and scattered pack, teaching me my abilities, and adjusting to who I am in here. I have a current one right now that I am planning to go and do soon but it takes me out of the village so I am delaying until you can get your seethe out of my village I am sworn to protect." Devlin said.
Ethan looked down, "I have had a few missions and have one that I am not looking forward to doing. I still haven't gotten my ranking in my racial power. I have to put myself in front of the fay queen and have her judge me. If I am too powerful she could force me to be a guard or worse, if I am too weak I could be cast out and forced to survive without any fay back up for my entire game play. I didn't choose skills that would compliment my being a fay, I was hoping to sway my race to being Magicborn and having elemental abilities. I know that I can count on you guys but there are abilities that I wont be able to use without penalty of punishment or death if I don't have their backing. So I am worried about doing it."
Just then a chime was heard above their heads and they all looked up. Letters appeared above them, it read Group mission beginner level do you accept? Party of 4 recommended!
They all looked at each other and smiled and tapped the accept button that showed up in front of them.
Party established, please meet up with your party members at this location. A map appeared for each person and a blinking red dot showed up on each person's map. They finished their drinks and got up and headed outside. Turning North they headed down the street with their servants/slaves following behind them. Arriving at a fountain they looked at their maps and then headed towards their destination. 5 steps in they realized that not everyone was heading to the same location and stopped.
"Hey Ethan, the location is this way" Chimed in Claire.
"Sorry sweetheart but my location is different from yours apparently. It looks like I am going with Onyx." Ethan replied. "Looks like you are going with Damien to a location. Damien take good care of her please not that she needs to protection I just worry about her."
Damien just waved and turned and kept going. Claire had to jog to catch up to him. She said something to him but I couldn't hear what was said.
"Sorry you are stuck with me Ethan. I will try to be a good partner for this group mission. At least we have the four of us. With two vampires, a magicborn and you a fay it should give us a chance to kick some butt or at least complete our task." I said quietly to Ethan.
