A sincere apology

He laughed "don't worry i do not have an ulterior motive, i am being honest most of the times, in my life they are things i do want to share with you but i cannot due to certain circumstances" he said,

"I understand and you do not have to share your personal life history with me or how many girls you have or had" she replied,

'Where did the part with the girls came from?" he asked as a woman dressed in red showed up behind him and placed her hand on his shoulder than his expression went cold.

"What are you doing here?" he asked as the girl sat down near Lien.

She was tall, pretty had long black hair, brown eyes real long devilish nails and she had some nice curves.

"I am here doing my job, my lord" she said,

"I would like for you to leave little demon' he replied,

"Hi i am A Li shen" she said as she passed her finger on Lien's hand and Wang grabbed on to her by her wrist.

"Uh i am going to leave now, i will see you again lady Lien" she said as she jumped on the roof and left.

"Why would you care even if there was?" he asked as she got up and grabbed her things,

"I don't nor i won't, i was just a little curious that's all and it is getting pretty late, i am going to return home now" she responded and he looked at her as his eyes glowed red.

The girl then walked away and he went after he.

"Is that jealousy i am sensing?" he asked,

"Nope no jealousy here leader Wang" she responded as she got into a carriage and he got in with her.

"Why are you following me leader Wang?" she asked,

"To make sure you reach safely after all tomorrow you will be their new leader lady Lien" he responded.

Upon arriving at their home she got out along with Wang and then the carriage left as he leaned in and kissed her good night on the cheek then disappeared.

The guy went inside lost in her thoughts and then bumped into her brother.

'Sorry brother" she said with her face glowing,

"Wow you are glowing, are you ready for tomorrow sis?" he asked,

"Nervous but yeah i am ready" she responded,

"Well that is normal, do not worry i will be by your side all the way" he said then patted her on the head and hugged her tightly.

The girl was surprised at her brother and hugged him back.

'Ever since i became leader, i have not gotten a proper hug until now" he said,

"That is true but you were always busy so i understood brother" she replied.

"That is no excuse, i am your elder, mother and father left you in my care and more than me Yu has been taking acre and protecting you" he said and her eyes widened as she raised him up.

"Bro i promise you that, it is totally fine and you do not need to feel guilty, when ever i needed you, you were there for me and that is all that matters to me" she replied.

"Okay if you say so but i am still sorry and i want you to know that" he said,

'I know you are" she replied as she tipped toed and kissed him on the forehead.

"Can i sleep in your room tonight?" he asked and she smiled.

"Just like old times, sure but i am keeping my bed you take the couch" she responded,

"Okay i will take the couch" he said as he placed his hand around her neck and they went to her room.

"You went shopping?" he asked as he fixed up the couch and placed his pillow and blanket to go to sleep.

"Yeah with a friend" she responded and since Wang was lurking around within the shadows he heard and smiled "friend huh" he said then decided to give her some space and left.

"Well i am glad you are at least having fun, uh Lien i am sorry for not standing up for Yu, as the leader and his friend that was my job too, i just..." he said and she sat with him on the couch then sighed.

"Bro i know you did not do anything because of the position you were in, i would like you to stop apologizing now" she said as he laid on her lap and she played with his hair the took of their family heirloom from his hair.

A little while after he slept away and and someone knocked on the door, she placed her brother head gently on the couch and she opened the door on to see Yu all nervous and was holding on to his hand then collapsed on her and she grabbed on to him then called out to Wang, whom appeared in no time.

'What's wrong with him?" he asked as he lifted Yu up and placed him on the couch and at the same time her brother woke up.

Upon seeing Yu in the state he was in he flung up.

'What are you doing here Leader Wang?" he asked,

"He is here to help with you, seems like something attacked him" she responded as she took off her head band and wrapped it around his arm to stop the darkness from flowing more into his blood.

"It's that bite of the red snake, i thought that thing died" Han said,

'I too, but seems like someone created another and had it poison Yu" she replied as Wang sat down near him and placed his hand on the bite mark as his hands slowed purple.

"Can you fix him?" she asked,

"I am a master in the dark arts so i can just sit back and relax, try not to stress him out" he responded.
