She was pissed, if it wasn't evident from the scowl that was plastered on her features, it can also be seen by the slight harshness she gave to anything she did.

Her morning had started with her mother questioning her about the position she had found her and Evan in the other day and unlike a normal mother she didn't get mad.

She squealed.

Like a high school girl.

It also didn't help that after her mother's pestering, she had realized that she was late and had to pick her best friend, Poppy up.

So now, she was scowling while waiting for her best friend in the car.

Even when she was tired, a mess and bruised she still looked stunning, her auburn hair pulled into a loose french braid which allowed her to parade the purplish bruise on her left eye as well as her split bottom lip, her outfit was consisted of a tight floral dress which contrasts to her beat up face but as usual she made it work.

Trix raised an eyebrow as Poppy barreled out of her house, a bagel hanging from her mouth adjourned in her usual baggy sweater and leggings which was honestly a sight for sour eyes.

"I'm so sorry!" She yelled as she slid into the passengers seat, slamming the door in the process. Her platinum blonde hair left a birds nest a top of her head.

"What happened to you?" Poppy asked as she settled down finally seeing her best friend's beat up form as well ad the scowl.

"It's nothing, now turn around and I'll fix your hair"

"But aren't we late?"

"We're already late so might as well skip first period." She explained grabbing a hair tie from her dashboard while Poppy turned to the side.

"Your hair is so pretty but you're ruining it" Trix ran a comb through her hair with effort which earned her a few noises of complaints from Poppy who didn't dare tell her to stop

She tied her hair to a simple loose french braid similar to hers but it was much neater being that Poppy had straight hair and she had curls.

"So you gonna tell me what happened to your face?"

Trix sucked on her lip, the tangy taste of blood still coming from the wound as she set the car to drive. She honestly didn't want to answer her question but knowing Poppy she would be miserable the whole day and claim that 'she doesn't love her anymore'

"Almost slept with a girl's boyfriend" She shrugged as if not realizing the intensity of the situation.

"Beatrice!" She scolded while Trix threw her a glare but didn't say anything about the use of her name.

"What!? I didn't know he was taken! If anything I'm the victim here! I was drunk and I got beaten up by some bitch who clearly needs a- shit! Fuck" She slammed her foot on the brake with one arm coming to Poppy who wasn't wearing a seat belt, the car coming to a rough halt, the scent of burnt rubber in the air as a dog sprinted across the street.

"Fuck!" Trix shouted slamming the steering wheel in frustration once they were safe. She turned to Poppy who looked like a deer caught in headlights, eyes with as saucers with a slight tremble to her lips. She turned her attention back to the road.

Today just wasn't her day.

"You fucking bitch!" Trix shouted as she slammed 'Stephanie' who was actually named Amelia against the lockers.

The girl trembled in fear at the sight of a very sober and furious Trix she hadn't thought it through when she beat her up during the weekend. She didn't even realize that the person she was punching was 'the' Trix Williams.

People gathered around the two of them, some hollering while others whipped out their phones to capture Trix beat up another person.

It wasn't new to the students of Jefferson high for Trix to get into a fight, she was a bitch and liked to walk the walk. She didn't beat up people for no reason though and only attacked when provoked. Most of the time she flirted, partied and had fun but there were also times that she had to remind the people why she was named "The Bitch of Jefferson"

"See what you did to my pretty face, you little bitch" She spat, slamming her on the lockers again fingers gripping the girls tank top which caused her to groan.

Trix smirked before sending a strong blow to her cheek, ignoring the slight throb it gave her knuckles.

"Where's your pretty little boy now?" She mocked eyeing the said boy who was standing with the crowd, not bothering to defend his girlfriend or to at least stop her. Interfering would be committing social suicide and if it wasn't obvious enough the guy could not care less about 'Stephanie"'

"Next time, know the person you're gonna beat up"

She grabbed her by the hair before tossing her to the ground spitting at her beat up form, leaving the scene before a teacher showed up, she could not afford another suspension.

She didn't do so much to Amelia but now that she had blatantly showed her anger towards the girl, she would be targeted by people who wanted to earn her good graces, of course it would not really do them good. Trix preferred to be alone and she honestly could not stand another person aide from Poppy.

As for her little boyfriend she had other plans for him. They should know better than to mess with Trix.

Smirking to herself she made her way to the cafeteria, eyes set on the center table where the cheerleaders and the jocks sat.

They may run the school but everyone knows who the Queen is .

"Hey boys" She chirped as she sat down on the table earning her a few glares from the cheerleaders and a few hollers from the boys.

Her eyes landed on Evan, the fallback who didn't bother to look at her and instead continued his conversation with some girl.

These were the times she hated him the most.

She turned her attention to Brandon, the number one asshole of the school, the quarterback and her most loyal follower but he didn't know that of course.

"Damn Trix! That girl really did a number on you" Brandon whistled as he slid closer to her, his hand automatically going to her thigh. Count on Brandon to make moves on an injured girl.

"You should see her right now" She winked at him ignoring his slowly rising fingers. It bothered her a lot but it seemed trivial to even argue. She brought this on to herself, she gave herself the reputation she now adjourned like a crown. Might  as well live up to name she gave herself.

"Well maybe its just me but I find the bruises sexy as fuck." He winked before leaning down to press a sloppy and disgustingly wet kiss on her mouth. She hated his kisses, it was intrusive and overwhelming, not to mention there was a lot of tongue.

She pushed back her disgust and kissed back ignoring the hollers from the other boys and the looks of envy from the girls instead her eyes locked on Evan who looked at her with a scowl.

She knew him all to well that that look in his eyes was warning her to stop and behave, she should know she was quite familiar with that look but as usual instead of bending to his will she raised an eye brow instead daring him to interfere. He sent one last glare before turning away.

She won but as always winning left a bad taste in her mouth.

She pulled away from Brandon a small smirk gracing her lips as she wiped the remaining saliva away with her middle finger before standing up.

"Brandon take care of that little bitch's boy toy for me, okay?"

"What's in it for me?"

Trix sighed before sending him a flirtatious smirk. She leaned down and pressedasoft kiss on his cheek.

"I'll see you later at 8" She whispered before standing up her eyes landing on Evan once again who shook his head at her.

As if she needed his approval.

Later that afternoon a crowd formed in the parking lot, everyone eager to see the bruised and bloody senior as 'Stephanie' tried to help him up.

Trix watched smirked in triumph as she looked at the scene from her car window. She caught the eyes of Stephanie who glared at her in disdain, she waved at her mockingly as she drove away ignoring the looks of disapproval from Poppy who sat beside her.

"I'm guessing that was your doing" She asked in a low voice.

"Well to be exact it was Brandon's" Trix replied nonchalantly.

"You can't keep doing this Trix. It's wrong and not to mention you don't even like it" Poppy argued while Trix only rolled her eyes.

"We're not having this conversation Poppy"

"Yes, we are Beatrice!" Poppy shouted. Trix slammed the brakes. This was the first time Poppy had even raised her voice at her.

"Fine" She bit back. "You wanna talk about it we'll fucking talk about it"

Poppy gulped almost loosing her nerve but she remained strong.

"This isn't you Trix. You haven't been you in a long time" Poppy started off while Trix only raised an eyebrow for her to continue. "I know you Beatrice and this is not you. You're smart, talented, and you're one hell of a party girl. You don't let anyone walk over you but you don't beat up people till they're a bloody mess. You're better than that."

Trix sighed, her previous annoyance going out the window for a hard ass she always had a soft spot for Poppy.

"You know I'm right Beatrice. You used to be so care free. You did what you want and had lots of fun but now it's lie you're caving in to what people expect you to be all just to get Evan's attention"

At the mention of his name Trix straightened up. "This has nothing to do with that asshole"

"Oh come on Beatrice I'm not stupid. I know that you and Evan still have a thing no matter how fucked up it is. You claim that the reason you guys didn't work out because you didn't want to change who you are for a guy but look at what's happening right now. You're changing and you still don't have him"

"That's all I have to say" Poppy finished her eyes going back to the road as Trix revved up the engine. They drove in silence to Poppy's house.

"Think about what I said Trix. I miss the old you' She smiled sadly before slamming the door behind her.

Trix watched her ascend to her house, making sure she was safe inside. Trix drove away. her mind ran in circles around Poppy's surprising outburst. She was aware of what was happening but she was so caught up with everything she didn't notice. Her go with the flow nature finally took its toll on her now she was stuck and she did not know how to get out the grave she dug for herself.

Trix sighed in annoyance before shaking her head. She turned the car around and instead of going to her place she found herself driving towards Brandon's.

She agreed with Poppy completely but right now she didn't want to deal with being a good person again. She just needed to let loose.

She pulled up to his empty driveway. His parents weren't home. Good.

She walked to his front door before she could even knock it swung open to reveal a naked smirking Brandon.

"It's not even 8 yet"

She scoffed before pushing him inside.

Old habits are just too hard to break.
