Chapter 8: mirror enemy

While they are walking, Janna asked "why did you disappear, master?" Everyone stared at Rosario so she said "you asked Rengar I've already told him everything that I know." Rengar said "your laziness master never changed" and Rosario just whistled and didn't stare at them. Rory said, "now he's ignoring us." Rosario said to herself "their stare at me feels like they want to stab me at my back." Rengar told them what Rosario told them and Sebastian said "so Lucifer and Diablos soul are usually one and when they were born they've got separated." Rory said, "and now they are back as one again." Rosario said to herself "good thing they believe in the story that I made up." Janna said, "how did our master end up being a girl?" Rosario answered, "you go ask Rose once she has returned."

Rengar asked, "are we almost at the end of the maze, master?" Rosario said, "nope, we're still far behind and even if we managed to go there, we won't be able to go and pass the portal to the 3rd floor that easy." Sebastian asked, "so you're trying to say that even if we managed to get there, we will still fight our way out?" Rosario said "yeah, because I can see that, monsters are gathering there. Those monsters are easy to defeat but among their comrades, there is a demon lord seed level that just came by. It's equal to my current power. Moreover, we have to summon the lesser demon as a final boss to open the portal" Sebastian said "I see so it's hard, huh." Rosario said "and not just that, if you stay there for 1 hour. Rosario asked, "along the way, did you encountered some kind of crest like that on the wall?" Rosario is pointing at the wall at the end of the hallway." The girl answered "yes" Rosario asked, "what is the color of the crest?" The girl answered, "it was the same as that color, It's color red." Rosario and her subordinates have stopped walking out of shock. Rosario asked, "tell me what happened when you got yourself trap." Some of the students cried, some are holding up their tears and some are speechless. Rosario said to herself "judging by their expression, it must be a terrifying trap. What we encountered earlier is a green crest. I've set the level of trap difficulty here in 3 colors of a crest. They are all deadly traps but the speed of the trap's reaction in catching their target is different. The green crest is the slowest and there is the yellow crest is almost as fast as Rengar. While the red one, its speed defies time. It means you need the power to control the time and if you don't have it, you'll just have to pray for a miracle because there'll be no way out, even in the other traps once the trap is set completed there is no way out. It was already a miracle that they were able to get out alive."

They continued walking and ignored the crest. Rosario continues explaining. Rosario said, "the hardest part of this dungeon is that every, 1 hour, the dungeon walls move around and its speed depends on the traps that are being laid nearby speed on catching you and those traps automatically activate and if you survive that, monsters will be spawn to hunt you down." The girl student said "I see, even if we try to avoid traps, it will still get us every 1 hour and if we survive monsters will spawn to hunt and kill us?" Rosario said "ye-" before she could finish speaking a voice rushed towards her ears calling her old name saying "Kazuya!!!" Rosario was taken by a surprise and she said to herself "that voice, it's familiar to me. Where is it?" Rosario asked "did you guys hear that?" Janna asked "hear what" Rosario realized that none of them heard it and she said "nothing, It must be my imagination."

Rosario is about to ignore it when suddenly the bell rang loudly again as a sign that it's already 1 hour. The walls move so fast like a speed of a race car. Sebastian said does this mean we'll all be trapped in a powerful trap?" The students are frightened.

The walls have stopped moving and Rory said "phew, I thought we will be trapped." One of the students said, "I thought we will be playing that cruel game again." One of the students noticed something and asked "where is Rosario?" Everyone noticed that Rosario disappeared. They all called for her name as they look around monsters started to spawn and surround them.

Meanwhile, Rosario was being covered with fog. Rosario asked, "I can't see, what is going on?" Suddenly the fog disappears and she is all alone Rosario shouted "Rory, Rengar, Janna, Sebastian, where are you?!!" Her voice just echoed all through the maze. Rosario asked "where is everybody and what is going on? It kind of feels like I'm all alone here, at this maze." Rosario heard a voice echoing and said "Kazuya!! Please don't die!" The voice keeps on echoing and Rosario realizes something and said "wait, I remember now, I remember whose that voice was. It was my girlfriend from my past life. It was Hinata, Shinro Hinata!" The voice keeps on echoing and Rosario run as fast as she could to follow it.,

Rosario has found the area where the source of the voice can be heard but no one is there and the voice has stopped echoing. Rosario shouted "where are you? Hinata!" Rosario keeps on shouting "Hinata! Where are you? Hinata!!!"

While she was shouting, someone fired magic at her. Rosario took a direct hit and she got herself thrown away but she didn't get serious damage. Rosario asked, "who's there?!" She heard someone saying "I see, there's someone that's being trapped here. This body of this newcomer is quite cute but it's a shame I'll be able to use it for a while since I have to kill the original owner of this face. I have to kill her and wait for someone to be trapped here again." It has the same voice as Rosario. Rosario asked "where are you?!" She saw someone walking off the end of the hallway. Rosario asked "who are you? Why do you look like me?" Rosario clone said "you got some nerve to ask me tha-" she stops on speaking when she noticed something. She looks closer and she ended up being surprised. She laughs as hard as she could and Rosario asked "hey, will you stop laughing already? You're irritating me." She said "this is our first and last reunion and you're being rude. I was just taken by surprise that the king of the demon lords ended up being a girl, this is how are you going react!" She charged toward Rosario and punch her but Rosario managed to evade. Rosario said, "look I don't know who you are and I'm warning you, you may have hit me once and you won't be able to hit me again." Rosario punches her clone's gut and after that, she punches the face. Her clone was being thrown away. She said "I see, you haven't changed at all. You have a bad temper towards your enemies demon lord Diablo! Well, I'm the same as you are as well. I haven't got my revenge since you've sealed me here so I'm going to use this opportunity to take my revenge on your weakened state, prepare yourself demon lord Diablo." Her clone used skill and said "frost beam!" Rosario used the same skill to counter her attack and said "frost beam!" Both of their skill collide with each other. Rosario said, "I see, you copied my skills as well and I have no idea who you are." Her clone said, "I'll make you know who I'm."

Rosario said to herself "I think I remember now what is this place. This an alternate place of the maze and no one is here to attack you so why she's here and who is she?" Rosario contacted her subordinates through telepathy saying "Rory, Janna, Sebastian, Rengar, I want you to stay where you are. I'll be there in just a few minutes. I'm trapped and got transferred to a different dimension and I'm up against a copy of myself." Janna said, "you mean that trap we saw earlier chose to get you instead of us?" Rosario said, "yes, but don't worry I'll beat this jack-ass clone of mine and I'll return." Sebastian said, "but master we're in a tight situation here as well." Rosario asked, "why?" Rengar answered, "we're being surrounded by monsters." Rosario said, "get out of there and hide, I'll just find you when I'm back." Her subordinates said, "as you wish master."

Zestiya said "I wonder if she will be able to take down that creature. When I fought that thing it wasn't an easy battle. If it weren't for demon lord Venita's help, I'll be fighting there for eternity since I'm fighting my copy of myself." While she was watching her servant came in and said "master! An intruder managed to break in!!" Zestiya asked "how many?" Her servant answered "two" Zestiya got angry "just 2 and you can't handle them?!" Her servant said "they're not any normal people. They're the-" before he could finish speaking the door blows up and the servant got thrown away. 2 people have entered, one old man and one girl. The old man has a long white beard and long white hair that is tied up. He has red eyes and a black and red robe with a burning crest of an inverted cross. The girl has long red and orange hair that is tied up. She also has red eyes and a black and red robe with a burning crest of an inverted cross. She is carrying a huge black cross that is at her back and she has rosary beads with an inverted cross that is hanging at her tongue.

Zestiya said, "what are you doing here Vinland?!" The girl said, "oh, I'm surprised you still remember me queen of the dryads, demon lord Zestiya?" Zestiya said, "of course, how will I forget the face of the woman who destroy my kingdom 300 years ago." Vinland said "I see so you still remember that time you almost die. Your body has a lot of fatal injuries that time and your screaming for help while you crawl like a worm."
