Chapter 24: I refuse to aid you in your battle

Rosario activates her skill fireshield to save herself but it's not enough and Xerxis notices it.

Xerxis shielded her, he used a skill and said "arc of the covenant shield!"

A very shiny and transparent shield showed out of nowhere and blocked Asmodeus' attack but it didn't completely block the attack. However, both of them survive but they're wounded.

Asmodeus said "it was just a very weak attack from me and yet your defense can't completely block it. I wonder if I go all out, will you die?"

Rosario and Xerxis grit their teeth out of fear and anger towards Asmodeus.

Asmodeus said "I guess, I should go all out and end this as quickly as possible."

Asmodeus' aura runs wild and charges towards the both of them.

Xerxis' sword changed its appearance and said "judgement sword activate!"

Rosario said "is that the sword that Vermillion used against me? So he really is the owner of that sword. I wonder if I can use it to return back to my dungeon. If I stay here longer, most probably I'll die."

Xerxis countered Asmodeus by slashing him but Asmodeus managed to evade the attack immediately and said "you almost got me but even if you managed to hit me that won't kill me. However, that level of attack can give me a scratch or something."

Rosario looked behind Asmodeus and she was surprised and said to herself "just how strong is he? Xerxis' attack almost eliminated hundreds of universes and here he's trying to say that it's not strong enough to kill him. He really is a monster that can destroy the whole multiverse. He must be eliminated at all costs but how are we going to do that? There is no one who can stand toe to toe against him, not even Alicia. Moreover, he set up a powerful barrier that blocked all of our escape routes so more likely no one will help us from the outside."

Asmodeus released his long one edged sword with a black flame within it.

Asmodeus said "let's have a fight to the death!" Rosario and Xerxis said "sure, if that is what you wanted!

Xerxis used a skill and said "God mode!"

As he activated his skill 3 sets of wings sprung out of his back and 7 halos appeared at his back as well.

Asmodeus mocked Xerxis and said "hooo, I'm scared, the strongest ancient God is going all out."

Xerxis got pissed and he attacked Asmodeus at a very fast rate.

Asmodeus fights back as well and their fight is destroying planets and stars. Rosario has no idea on what is going on since Xerxis and Asmodeus are on a level of a speed where no normal being can't see them.

Rosario said to herself "what the f*ck is this speed. I can't barely see them, not to mention I'm not as fast as them. I can't become a burden to Xerxis and I have to do something."

Rosario kept on thinking and said "Wait, what if I use all of my skills that give me speed all out at once, will I be able to do something?"

Rosario used multiple skills and said "chronos keeper, Mana manipulation, Holy magic manipulation, shadow manipulation, highlander, last breath and space manipulation!"

While Rosario is busy on thinking how to cope up with Xerxis and Asmodeus speed, Asmodeus and Xerxis keep on crossing swords with each other.

Asmodeus said "I don't know why you brought that woman to the future. What is your plan? Why do all of you people want to stop me so badly while all I ever wanted is to create a better world for us to live in. There will be no more war, chaos, suffering, despair and pain. Tell me, why do you want to stop me?!"

Xerxis sighed and said "you really have a childish mindset. Do you really think eliminating evil is a perfect solution to everything? Oh come on, only a kid would only think that way."

Asmodeus gets pissed and gives a powerful slash to kill Xerxis. However, Xerxis managed to block Asmodeus' attack with his sword and as soon as both of their swords hit each other, a painful shockwave travelled towards Xerxis body and shattered his armor into pieces. Moreover, he vomits a lot of blood after blocking Asmodeus' attack.

The shockwave leaves Xerxis right at his back and Xerxis stares towards it. He saw the shockwave forces its way out of his body and he was terrified of what happened behind his back.

He saw that the shockwave is forcing planets, stars and other celestial objects to collide with each other.

Xerxis asked "just what the f*ck is this being? He can literally destroy thousands of universes in just one swing of his sword. I won't last long here. My plans on being killed at Alicia's hands will be ruined and this woman won't be born if I die. Moreover, if I try to escape she will die and if she dies the fate of the multiverse is at the hands of death. This woman is so weak. She can't even move at this rate of speed."

Xerxis and Asmodeus was surprised as Mana converged at Rosario. Moreover, Rosarios golden heart starts to produce holy magic particles.

Asmodeus asked to himself "just what is going on with this woman? She's converting magic around us as her own despite that she doesn't have any skills that can do that. She's not even as strong as the 4 superior rulers so how the hell is she doing this?"

Rosario is slowly starting to move and as she slowly starts to move thousands of portals are surrounding them. Xerxis said "I see, she has a trump card of her own. I take back what I've just said."

Rosarios said "finally, I managed to be on the same level of your speed. Now lets start the party ."

Asmodeus asked to himself "I wonder what is this woman is planning to do with those portals. If she's planning to use those as an escape way, she'll fail since I sealed every last space of this dimension also I wonder what she is planning to do with that huge amount of magic that she's converting?"

Asmodeus was surprised when a portal opened right in front of him and Rosario appeared out of the portal and attacked him. However, Asmodeus managed to evade and give a powerful counter attack. A huge explosion can be heard and Rosario disappeared right in front of them.

Asmodeus said "that woman recklessly attacked me without knowing how weak she is and now she's being vaporized!"

Xerxis grit his teeth and asked "did she really die from that attack? I was frozen by a surprise when she started to move at the speed of light and I just watched her die."

The 2 of them were surprised when they heard Rosario speak up and said "do you really think you can kill me that easily? You'll have to do better than that."

Asmodeus said "so you survived my attack. I'm a bit surprised that a weakling like you managed to escape death from that attack and I'm curious on how you managed to do that and where are you hiding right now."

A portal has opened and Rosario steps out of it.

The 2 of them saw that Rosario almost lost her body and all that she had left was her head, heart, lungs and her right arm.

Her heavily damaged body instantly being regenerated by the golden particles that her heart produced.

Xerxis noticed that her eyes were missing so he asked "where are your eyes? What happened to them?" Rosario said "I'd just hid them somewhere safe so don't worry about it."

Rosario said "I admit I recklessly attacked him without thinking so I'm asking you, Xerxis, to help me finish him off."

Xerxis said "you don't have to ask me that. I want to defeat him right here and now."

Asmodeus instantly moved in just a blink of an eye and attacked Rosario. However, a portal nearby instantly pulled Rosario. Another portal appeared right behind Asmodeus and Rosario steps out of it to attack Asmodeus but Asmodeus countered her attack and said "just die already!" Rosario said "in your dreams!"

Rosario used a skill and said "dimension slash."

Rosario slash just pushed passed towards Asmodeus sword like a wind and slashed him. However, that didn't give any wound so Xerxis used a skill and said "sword smite skill! Sunfire flame!"

Xerxis gives a powerful slash that transforms into the rays of a sun and charges towards Asmodeus like a cutting blade.

Asmodeus said "that's a very weak attack but at least it can make me feel pain like an ant bite."

Asmodeus used a skill and said "antimatter, ball of plasma!"

Asmodeus produces a ball of black lightning at his right hand and throws it towards Xerxis.

Asmodeus is expecting a huge explosion if Xerxis and his attack collide but 2 portals suddenly appear out if nowhere and swallow both of their attacks and 2 portals appear on Asmodeus both sides.

Xerxis and Asmodeus' attacks fly out of the portal and shoot towards Asmodeus.

A huge and very loud explosion can be heard and a huge smoke takes over the whole scenery.

Rosario asked, "Is he dead?" Xerxis answered "don't let your guard down. The battle is not yet over."

Asmodeus appeared out of the smoke and he's perfectly unscathed. He laughed and said "interesting, you're using the portal to return my attack. It's the best decision for you to make, but sad to say my magic has no ability to hurt me. In other words, using my attack against me will have no effect at all!"

Xerxis said "tch, I guess we don't have any options but to attack him in full force." Rosario said "I totally agree with you."

The 3 of them charges towards each other and Rosario produces nore portals and this time it's mouch more closer to them.

Xerxis said to himself "I see, so that is where she's using that mana she converted earlier but it kind of feels like she's not using all of it. She's using the portals to cope up with our speed but that is not enough. Her attack damage is still very weak. Also, I wonder where is the rest of the mana she converted as her own? She's using those Mana to supply her with endless magic but all I can see is that she's not using all of it."

The 2 of them keep on attacking Asmodeus endlessly at a very fast rate.

Asmodeus yawned and said "I think we should finish this battle already. I have a lot of universe to destroy."

Asmodeus used a skill and said "destruction skill: speed distortion."

Xerxis' speed at fighting decreases because of Asmodeus' skill but surprisingly Rosario wasn't affected at all.

Asmodeus asked "how was that possible? She's immune to my skill."

Xerxis said in a slow motion voice "don't be reckless Rosario, you may be almost equal to his speed but that is not enough to win."

Rosario said "I know that alright."

Asmodeus asked to himself "wait, after she converted most the magic around us into her own, her speed drastically rises up. Let me see how wss that possible."

Asmodeus' eyes turned into a color purple and stared towards Rosario.

Asmodeus said "so this is where all of the magic you converted went."

Rosario asked "what are you talking about?" Asmodeus said "this is what I'm talking about."

Asmodeus flicked his finger, Xerxis and Asmodeus saw that Rosarios whole body was being tied up by a bunch of shadow strings. All of them were connected to the portals that she created and there are some few strings that are conneccted to the portals but to a huge hands that are above them. Asmodeus saw Rosarios missing eyes within those huge shadow hands.

Asmodeus said "I see, so that's why you were able to move to the portals very fast because of those shadow strings and you put your eyes in those huge shadow hands for you to be able to predict all of my attacks. However, your body won't be able to work properly without an eyesight so you tied those huge hands to your body like a puppet."

Rosario said "oh, you're smarter than I thought. I thought you were just like a person who let his pride get to his head just because it's too impossible to defeat you."

Asmodeus said "I appreciate your compliment. However, that won't change a thing . You're still going to die!"

Asmodeus used a skill and said "antimagic area activate!"

All the portals and shadow figures that Rosario created disappeared and Rosario returned back to her original speed and saw as her eyeballs returned back

Rosario asked to herself "what is going on here? Why am I back to my original state?"

Rosario got startled as she heard a loud collision of swords nearby.

Rosario looks for the source of the sound and she is surprised because Asmodeus was already near her and he is trying to slash her but it was being blocked by the 3 angels that have gold and white color wings with 7 halos on their head. It was Yumi, Yue and Cecil

Cecil said "sorry we're late. It took us a lot of time to get in here."

Asmodeus said "ah, the 7 upper moon angels are here to challenge me as well. I wonder what time you came from? Are you from the future, past or present? Well, it doesn't matter. I'll just gladly kill those who stand in my way!"

Asmodeus swung his sword violently that made the 3 angels thrown away.

Asmodeus was about to charge towards Rosario but someone managed to stop him and got Asmodeus being thrown away. That someone said "I won't let you take away someone that is special to me again!"

Asmodeus said "wow, you got me by a surprise there. As expected of my son Keros. You're making want to kill you after you betray me!"

Keros said "do you really think I want to live within your care after you mercilessly killed mom right in front of me and my brother. I'll use this opportunity to take revenge for what you did. I won't forgive you no matter what happens in my life and I'll kill!"

Asmodeus moved in a flash and one handedly carried Keros.

He's slowly twisting Keros' neck and he said "you want to kill me and yet you don't have the power to do it. You're so weak and pathetic and here you're trying to threaten m-" before he could finish. He felt someone slashed his back and he heard a glass shattered into pieces.

He turns around and he sees Rose holding a broken sword while shaking in fear.

Asmodeus said "you're so weak."

Keros shouted "stay away from him Rose!" However, his words didn't reach Rose.

Asmodeus thrust Rose and grabbed her heart out.

Rose's heart is still pumping like a live one as he holds on to it. He looks closely to Rose's heart while Rose is still stuck on his arm. Asmodeus said "so this is the heart of the goddess of demons. I heard if the demon's heart is being crushed they die. I wonder if that applies to a goddess as well?"

Rose is slowly trying to grab her heart back and she said while being stuck at Asmodeus arms "please, give my heart back."

Asmodeus said "oh, you want your heart back?"

Asmodeus threw Keros away and he pulled Rose out of his arms. He carried Rose while pulling her hair and asked again "do you want your heart back?"

Rose nodded and he said "well then, come and eat it!" Asmodeus put Rose's heart into her mouth and forced her to chew it.

He throws Rose's lifeless body away like trash.

Asmodeus said "these people are just a bunch of insects in front of my eyes and their life has no value for me."

Rosario saw how Rose was mercilessly being killed and she's slowly falling into deep vengeance.

The angels were asking for her forgiveness. Yumi said "I'm sorry it took as long time to get in here." Yue said "we're here to save you and Keros and Rose assisted us in finding you from different timelines." Cecil said "so we found you and ended up here."

Rosario said in a cold expression "if you want me to forgive you. I want you to help me kill that man."

Yue said "sure thing." Cecil whispered "this is not a part of the plan. We're here to buy some time for Alicia to rescue us."

Yue said "it's the same thing, if you want to buy time and survive this battle, you'll have to fight Asmodeus to death. He will not let go of any of us until we're all dead."

Yumi said "she got a point, Cecil. We can't argue with that. We have to fight if we want to get out of here alive." Cecil said "so the only hope we have right now is the future Rosario."

Yumi said "yes, Alicia alone is not as powerful as this guy but with the future Rosario Mourning Star interference, it's a different Story." Cecil said "well then, let's stay alive up to the very end."

Xerxis rises up to join them and says "I'll gladly lend you a hand on this." Yumi said "we would be glad to take your offer, our old master."

Asmodeus asked "are you done with your chitcha-" before he could finish speaking Rosario exploded while burning in fire.

Rosario said "I think it's time for me to go all out." Rosario used a skill and said "ultimate skill: Stellaris transformation, crimsara!"

While the battle is ongoing, a woman in a white hooded cloak step closer to the entrance of a castle and a humanoid monster draws out their sword and says "halt! State your business!"

The woman just walked straight to the entrance and she didn't reply.

The guards tried to stop her and said "stop righ-" the guards were surprised because they couldn't move.

The woman entered the throne room and there were a lot of monsters, beast, demons, Demi humans, vampires, spirits, angels, somare allod's, some humanoid insects and some dragonoid beings are all there paying their respect to the one who is sitting on the throne above the stairs and below the throne there are 30 seats that are much smaller than the throne above them and 12 of them are vacant.

The person who is sitting at the throne has 2 personnel by each of her side, one demon and one angel.

The woman barged into the throne and vowed towards the person sitting at the throne.

The woman spoke up and said "may I request to speak with the ruler of the dark side nation?"

All of the people inside the throne complained about the woman who barged in and said "who is this woman? Why is she here? Can she see we're in the middle of meeting here? We're in the middle of a war against Asmodeus forces. If our meeting is being delayed, our soldiers will die at the front lines."

The demon beside the throne shouted "silence!!" The whole throne was filled with silence and the demon said "sta-" before she could finish what she's about to say. The girl who's sitting stopped her and said "there is no need to ask for her name. I know who she is. I just wanted to know she's here."

The woman said "wow, you really have become much more powerful than I had anticipated."

The woman transformed into a beautiful girl with long hair that has the same color as the night sky and her 2 eyes have an image of a galaxy.

All of the people inside were surprised and asked "are we seeing a ghost? What's going on? I thought Alicia died in the battle?"

The angel on the left side of the throne said "quiet down! She's not dead! She travelled from the past and came here."

Alicia said "I see so I don't have to introduce myself, right Xerath?"

Xerath said "yes, I'll never forget your presence since we the 7 upper moon angels have been living in your for thousands of centuries. You were like our mother."

Alicia said "anyways I'll get to the main reason why I travelled here. I want your king, Rosario Mourning Star, to aid us in our battle."

Alicia looked directly towards Rosario.

Rosario is a bit mature and the only difference is that she has red pupils, demonic tails and horns and matured boobs.

Alicia asked again "will you aid us in our battle?"

Rosario looked at her seriously and said "I refuse to aid you in your battle."
