Chapter 23: the future

Rosario asked "how are you able to see me while the others can't?"

Xerxis answered "it's simple, I'm you and you're me." Rosario asked "what do you mean by that?"

Xerxis said "I guess I just have to show you then."

Xerxis removed his helmet and Rosario saw Xerxis face. Rosario is staring at her former looks as a Male that goes by the name Touma Kazuya. The only difference they have is that Xerxis looks much more younger but he have long and white hair.

Rosario got anxious and asked "what is the meaning of this and why do you looked like me?"

Rosario was surprised as Xerxis moved in just a blink of an eye right in front of her.

Xerxis looks closely and said "didn't I told you earlier that I'm you?"

Rosario said "but I don't understand what you mean by that. I want you to explain it to me."

Xerxis said "there is no time to explain it to you, after all, I have a lot of things to do so I'll just tell you one thing that you need to know."

Rosario asked "what is it?"

Xerxis answered "the current time you're in right now is about to turn into destruction, the moment you make a wrong move."

Rosario asked "what do you mean?" Xerxis said "you see, a lot of powerful forces is coming to get you soon. In your current power you're still weak, you're no where near their power."

Rosario said "you're kidding right? Everything is peaceful out there. The only people that are a threat to me is the true demon lords but I know how powerful they are so escaping their attacks and movements will be just an easy thing."

Xerxis said "sigh, do you really think everything will keep on going your way? Fine I'll show what is about to happen to your future."

Xerxis right hand become very bright and he touched Rosarios head

Rosario and Xerxis go into a outerspace where he's going to show what he wanted to show.

Rosario was terrified as she saw a huge mist that's devouring thousands of universe.

Rosario asked "just what the hell is that mist?"

Xerxis said "if you look closely that's not a mist."

Rosario looked closely and she was terrified as she stared at those monsters.

The monsters have different looks, some more than 2 heads and some are don't. Most of them has very thick and metallic scale and they all have human faces that's being distorted. Rosario got terrified and asked "just what are those creatures?"

Xerxis said "those creatures are called caracators. They were created by Asmodeus himself. Their role is to suck out the life force of any stars, planets, life force of any creatures and any other heavenly bodies just to offer it to their master, Asmodeus."

Rosario asked "and what is he planning to do with those life force?"

Xerxis answered "if I were him I will use that life force to create life just like what I did to the elves and Demi humans.."

Rosario asked "wait, where did you get those life force that you used? Did you take away innocent lives too?" Xerxis answered "nah, they came from those poeple who think that they can defeat me."

Rosario said "I see, so what is Asmodeus planning to do with those life force?" Xerxis answered "he will use those life force to give him an overwhelming strength and power that can destroy the whole multiverse and create a new one that suits to his liking."

Rosario saw someone in the middle of the monsters and she got terrified as she stared at him.

Rosario asked "who is he and why does he have so much power than yours?"

Rosario is pertaining to a masked man whose sitting on a floating throne that has an aura that shoots towards the endless spaces of universe.

Xerxis answered that is Asmodeus, the terrifying being who nearly destroyed the whole multiverse."

Rosario said "wait, what? I thought he's just on universal level."

Xerxis said "your a fool one aren't you? Don't judge anyones power by analyzing the aura that they project. If your enemy is much more stronger than you, you'll only gonna be able to see their fake auras but that's a different case on elves and much powerful being than him."

Rosario asked "but who the hell is much more powerful than him?" Xerxis answered "as far as I know, no one hasn't able to surpassed him except the creator of the multiverse."

Rosario asked "then, if that's how powerful he is, how did you managed to stop him from destroying the multiverse?" Xerxis answered "we the 4 supperior rulers cumbined all of our powers to stop him and Alicia give her all to help us."

Rosario said "I see, it will be troublesome if he awaken while I'm unprepared."

Xerxis said "he's a powe-" before he could he's about to say Rosario said "ssssh!"

Xerxis said "don't ssssh me, I'm not done explaining."

Rosario said "look, Asmodeus disappeared."

Xerxis asked "where is he?" Rosario answered "how should I know?"

Both of them was being caught up by a surprise as they heard Asmodeus voice behind them and said "do you really think I can't see you?"

Both of them jumps away from Asmodeus and prepare their weapon

Asmodeus said "sigh, you're preparing to fight me despite that you're much more weaker than me.

Xerxis said "I'll get us out of here Rosario! Don't worry.

Was about to create a teleportation but it didn't as Asmodeus flick his finger and he said "do you really think I would let the 2 of you run away? Not a chance, I'm not letting you leave including you Rosario Mourning Star. I don't know why you end so much weaker than last time we've fought or nay be your just faking it."

Rosario was surprised as Asmodeus move in flash and touched her head.

Asmodeus said "ahh, I see, you're from the past, well. I guess this is a jackpot for me. If I kill you right here and now that bastard bitch Rosario Mourning Star and her puny nation won't be able to interfere with my plans!!"

Xerxis charges towards Asmodeus and said "do you really think I would just sit back and do nothing here?!"

Asmodeus blocks his attack like nothing as he catches Xerxis sword with his own barehands.

Asmodeus said "it's been a long time since we fought each other and you haven't change a thing. You're still as reckless as ever. Do you really think you can defeat me just because you have the power that surpassed all of the 4 supperior rulers? Here, let me teach you a lesson."

Asmodeus tossed away Xerxis like nothing. He created a white ball of flame of and throw it upwards.

Xerxis shouted "Rosario! Use your strongest deffense or else you'll die!"

Asmodeus used a skill and said "white ash surpernova!!" The white ball of flame had self destruct and create a massive explosion that can reach approximately 100 million light years and eliminate all of any heavenly bodies that is cought up in it like stars, planets, meteors and many more.
