Chapter 18: Cannabis monsters

The rumbling has started to disappear and so the walls have stopped moving. Rosario said "sigh, I thought a trap will be activated to kill us all and it seems not to like it. This means that there are no traps near around us." One of the girl students said, "is that mean we're safe?" Rosario answered, "that defends on the monster that is going to spawn and speaking of monsters."

As they were talking about spawning monsters. The sky flickers with bright lights like a star and created a light beam that shoots all over the maze. As a light beam shoots the maze a loud and terrifying roar of monsters can be heard all over the maze.

Rosario said "I don't like the aura of this maze now. Rengar I want you to enlarge yourself." Rengar said, "yes master."

Rengar used skill and said "feast!' As he activates the skill he grows into a huge beast that is as the size of a passenger plane. Rosario said to herself "this size is what I needed."

Rosario stared at the student and said "you guys, go and ride at Rangers back!" Rengar was surprised and said "what?! You want me to give them a piggyback ride?!" Rosario said, "this, is not the time to complain, Rengar!"

They heard a very loud crashing of walls nearby and Rosario looked at the map of the maze through the Clairvoyance skill.

Rosario was surprised at the size of the monster and said to herself "wow, this size of monster is insane. The spaces of the labyrinth are not big enough for these monsters to fit in. The spaces of the labyrinth must be doubled for each monster to fit in."

Rosario noticed that one of the monsters moves so fast to go closer to their location.

As the monster moves closer they all felt a very intense rumbling and heard a huge consecutive stomping.

Rosario said, "move now hop on Ranger's back or you'll be killed!" The students did what Rosario asked them to do and Rosario said "that's it keep it going."

Rosario stared at her subordinates and said "Rory, I want you to cover Rengar's back. Janna, I want you to cover Rengar's left side, and lastly. Sebastian, I want you to cover Rengar's right side while I lead Rengar into our destination."

While they're all preparing the loud consecutive stomping and rumbling has stopped.

Rosario looked at the map through her clairvoyance skill and saw the monster is just on the other side of the wall Rosario said "holy shit" one of the students asked, "what's about to happen?" Rosario said, "I'll say it straight if we don't manage to get out of this labyrinth soon, all of us will die." The student asked, "why?" Rosario answered "the monsters that have been summoned earlier are far beyond our powers now. At this rate, if we don't leave the labyrinth soon, we will all die before another hour came."

One of the students was horrified as she looks above and shaking in fear as she point out the thing she was staring at.

All of them stared at it and saw a huge hand that was rising from the wall. The hand is like the hand of a human but its size is as big as a car and it has very long and sharp nails.

The monster's head rises very slowly like it's trying to crawl up from the wall.

Rosario was shaken up a little bit and stepped back as the monster's face was revealed.

The monster has a face of a crazy serial killer with long and sharp teeth like nails. It also has long hair like a woman

Rosario said to herself "you've got to be kidding me. This monster is my weakest creation among the cannabis type of monsters that I've created and the cannabis monsters are the strongest monster that ever existed at Etrials. If I could remember, I managed to create all the 10 types of the Cannabis monsters at this dungeon and now we're encountering the weakest type."

The monster stared directly at them and gave a very violent roar. The roar of the monster is pushing them back like a very strong wind.

Rosario stabs the ground with her sword and holds on to it to make sure that she won't end up being sent flying away, the same goes with Rory. Moreover, Janna holds on to the ground very tight to the point that the ground is being crushed by her hand and Rengar and Sebastian used their sharp claws to hold on while the students hold on to Rengar's fur like their life depends on it.

The monster stopped giving a terrifying roar and Rosario shouted "this is our chance! Let's go now!"

They did what Rosario ordered them to do earlier as they run away.

Rory asked "why are we running away? Can we just kill that monster?" Rosario answered "idiot! We can't handle that monster. It's far beyond us."

The wall that the monster is hanging has collapsed due to the heavy weight of the monster.

Everyone saw the monster's full body as the wall collapsed. The monster is a gigantic human with no lower extremities. Meaning, that he has no legs at all. He only has arms to help him move.

One of the students said, "wait, is that one of the legendary monsters that are being sealed in the abyssal realm by the guardian deities 3 centuries ago?"

The student looked closely and said "there's no mistaking it. It's the weakest among the legendary monsters called Cannabis monsters." Rosario said, "oh, so you know about this stuff?" The student said, "well, we've studied about them before at school." One of the students said "wow, you still remember that? We studied about them when we were still kids and you still manage to remember about it."

The other student said "judging by its looks, it won't be able to get us since it has no legs." Rosario said in a serious tone "don't underestimate that monster. It may have no legs but its speed is fast enough to catch up with the speed of the fastest bird so Rory, Janna, and Sebastian, keep an eye on him." Rory said while pointing to the place they've left "but it's already gone, master."

Rosario shouted "Rengar! Move faster!" Rengar did what Rosario have said and they were all surprised when the monster appeared as it falls from the sky.

The monster almost crushed them if Rengar didn't run faster, they're done.

Rory said, "I'll teach this monster a lesson!"

Rory flies very fast to attack the monster. Rosario tried to stop Rory and shouted "stop it, Rory! Your only going to make things worst!" But Rory didn't listen and sliced the monster into pieces.

Rory said, "I don't know why you're so afraid of this monster but it seems it's very harmless."

Rosario used skill and said "shadow manipulation!"

The shadows around Rosario turned into a bunch of hands and grabs Rory.

As Rory is being grabbed by the shadow hand, she noticed that the monster's eyes that she killed roll and stare at her.

The monster regenerates in just a few seconds and multiplies into 2.

The other monster goes after Rory while the other one gives a very loud roar.

The genius student said, "wow, it can run that fast."

Rosario asked herself "why is the other one just roaring?"

As they lose sight of the other one 3 monsters jump up to ambush them. 1 from the left, 1 from the right, and 1 from the front.

Rosario said "got damn it! They're so persistent!"
