Chapter 10: struggling battle

Leviathan said "I'm going to count 1 to 10. If you don't give her to us, don't ask for mercy." Vinland speaks while Leviathan is counting "I see, you're starting to cower in fear." Ryzen said, "she's going to surrender that kid to us." Esmeralda shouted, "I'm not giving her!" Leviathan said "if you have a death wish, then. I'll grant that wish." Vinland laughs and Ryzen just closed his as a sign of disappointment with Esmeralda's decision. Leviathan is slowly approaching Esmeralda as she prepares to kill her. Esmeralda closes her eyes and hugs Zestiya very tight as she accepts what will happens next.

Leviathan was just about to approach her but suddenly she backed down and said: "let's get out of here and let's not pursue them any further." Vinland asked "why? Why do you want us to retreat?" Leviathan said, "just shut up and follow my order!" Ryzen and Vinland stare at Esmeralda and Zestiya. They both got chills from the man that is standing right behind Esmeralda and Zestiya and it was giving them deadly glares. The man is wearing a butler uniform and he had blue short hair with a top hat and white gloves. He's not emitting any powerful aura. Vinland said "he doesn't possess any powerful aura and yet my body is telling me not to engage any further. This guy is something Leviathan can't handle." Ryzen said "let's go now, this is out of our league. We already achieved our goal."

Esmeralda opened her eyes and she saw that the 3 of them has disappeared. Esmeralda said, "we've been spared?" Esmeralda looked around her and saw a feather of a bird falling slowly right behind her. She catches it and asked, "what is this feather?" The feather is color yellow and white, the feather has a golden drawing of an arrow pointing upwards with a drawing of a moon in it. Under the arrow, there is the roman numerical number one. Esmeralda said "touching this feather gives me chills."

While observing the feather, the time everywhere has stopped. Esmeralda said "what's going on? Why time has stopped? Is the higher existence waging war on each other? For now, I should go back and treat Zestiya's injuries.

Meanwhile, Rosario is fighting against her copy. They're shooting at each other like two people shooting each other with guns. Rosario said "shit, I'm about to drain all of my magic. Rosario used skill and said "lightning strike!" Tons of lightning showered the whole battlefield and it creates a huge smoke just like what Athena have planned." Her copy asked "what are you up to thi-" before she could finish what she was about to say, Rosario have sliced her into pieces. Rosario said "I can't believe Athena's idea worked but I can't find the core that she's talking about." Rosario was surprised as her copy regenerated and said "that name Athena, I think I heard it somewhere before… well whatever, that's not the case anymore. All I want to do right now is to kill you. Nothing more, nothing less. I was surprised that you are good at close combat. Honestly, I didn't expect that, after all. I can only copy the skill that I saw you use before I copy your body. I guess I should go all out a little and I'll use the face of the strongest sword master that I killed 12 years ago."

The girl used skill and said "highlander!" The girl became much faster and attack Rosario over and over with her Katana. Rosario just keep on covering herself since she couldn't catch up with her speed. Rosario asked herself "how am I going to defeat her if she's much faster than me? Also, she's borrowing Hinata's game character's face, how am I going to win against her?"

Keros said, "I see, master has finally met the creature who killed the reincarnation of Hinata." Rose asked, "I wonder how our master would deal with this?" Keros said, "yeah, I'm thinking the same thing."

While they were talking to each other, Shera reported to them through the crystal ball and said "report: 3 people that are linked to demonoids have managed to break in at the dungeon and right now they're on the 3rd floor. Lord Rosario should expect a lot of unexpected events at the 3rd if she still wishes to advance further on the 3rd floor." Rose crushed the shogi piece that she was holding and said "god damn it! I thought we already lured those demons to Zestiya!!! Why they are still after our master?!!" Keros said "calm down Rose, I know how smart Seraph is. With her guidance, our master will be safe." Rose said "yeah, yo-" before she could finish what she was about to say, she stare at Keros and she was surprised. Keros let his powerful aura run wild as a sign that he's angry as well. Rose said "you're one to talk! You should calm yourself down first, Keros!" Keros said while drinking tea in a calm tone "your the one who should calm down. You see, I'm perfectly calm." Rose said "look at your aura! It's acting very wild!" Keros stared and smiled at his aura. He said "let my aura run wild as much as it likes. It will calm down later."
