A Duel Between Brothers

" Now that you now know that, let's resume with the battle." Raven then suggested.

" Right."

Aiden then positioned the sword next to his right hip as he charged forward, it noticeably held him back from how heavy it was. Aiden then swung his sword from the lower-right side to the upper left. As the sword swung, the dust from the ground followed along with the sound of the swift winds following the swing. Raven instinctively jumped back, she wouldn't dare be in the range of such a sword.

Aiden's swings were very much noticeably less speed than before with the normal size sword at the beginning of the match, but he swung every bit of weight, from his hips, his shoulder, and his torso, as he positioned his legs forward, he put as much as weight possible into the swings despite the sword being exceptionally heavy for him to keep his body in check as he swung.

He then charged forward once more as he lunged into the air, and swung down at Raven, to which Raven responded by spinning her body around to the right side, as the blade plunged and hit the ground.

" Don't get confidential, anyone who knows how to use a blade properly can beat you at this level you are. Every bit of your guard is open freely for me to blow an attack in."

" Whatever you say, Princess," Aiden smirked.

' The idiot actually thinks he has a chance, even I could beat in the fight currently. It's as she says it is, every bit of his body is open to land a decisive blow into, any master swordsman with even a small degree level of swordsmanship would seize the opportunity to launch an attack once they see such an opening,' Nathan then thought.

" Hey good-looking, how about we make this thing a real duel, which means you get to hit me too," Aiden suggested.

" As you wish, just don't regret this in the end," Raven replied.

Aiden, once again, charged forward having his bad position in the position as before, his right hip. And as he swung his blade he began spinning launching the same attack over and over numerous times. Raven just stood in front of the incoming attack as if it weren't threatening her in the slightest bit. And as he was within reach, she spun her spear and thrust the hilt of it forward colliding into his chest. As the attack made it in, it felt as if his entire body was stunned, it even ripped through his shirt.

A gash of blood trickled from his mouth onto the ground,' Damn, she must've shattered some ribs.' Nathan then thought.

" You know what, I'm just going to stay lying on the ground for a bit," Aiden said as he dropped down onto the ground.

" I don't think so." Raven then said.

She then charged forward at Nathan who stood standing watching over them, as she then thrust the hilt of her forward into his chest. It felt as if a boulder had collapsed onto his chest, his breathing stopped, as he began gasping for air.' Fuck! I think she broke a rib!' Nathan thought.

Raven then dropped a pouch of water on the ground," Drink this, then you two will have a duel."

Nathan then grabbed the pouch of water, and immediately gulped it down in a matter of seconds," A fair duel against that idiot, sounds good to me."

Aiden then got up from his knees," I'm going to fold you over like an omelet, you delusional bastard."

" Let's see you try, you dumb fucktard." Nathan smiled as he shot a middle finger over at Aiden.

" Now, now, calm down you two, we aren't going to be fighting with real blades, I'll fetch the training swords the children use." Raven then instructed the two.

' Damn, she's saying we're so bad that we have to use the same thing the children of the clan do.' Nathan thought as a single tear fell down his eyes.

Raven then returned, and as she did, she tossed the training wooden swords over at them." You two may begin whenever you're ready."

Nathan then looked down at the sword, it was the size of the real blade he was holding before, except, because it was wood, it was much less heavy. To say children would use something as big as it would be a stretch.' If children here really use this thing then they must be training fucking units on this God-forsaken mountain. I don't think children can hold something as heavy as this, sure it's light for me because I'm already seventeen, but for a child to hold this, that would be a level of disrespect to younger me, who probably couldn't even hold this.' Nathan thought.

Aiden's wooden training blade was just as big as the real one he was holding before, except it was far easier to hold.

" Are you two perhaps ready now?" Raven then thought

" Sure, I guess?" Nathan replied.

" Ready to kick his sorry ass, you mean?" Aiden smirked.

" Well, go at it, be done by the time I return," Raven said as she tailed off.

" Right." The two responded with both different tones.

As Raven disappeared, the duel immediately began.

Aiden then charged at Nathan," I'm going to make you regret that you ever dared to challenge me! Sure you may be good at chess, but this is a duel, and we both know who's the better fighter between the both of us!"

' As expected, he goes charging in with no regard regarding blocking any attacks or limiting any openings between his guard. Not only that, but then he goes underestimates his opponent to the lowest bit possible no matter who it may be, I don't know if it's stupidity or a superiority complex, whatever that may be, it could get him killed in the nearby future. Ahh, this idiot is embarrassing to death, even if we're alone I feel shame around him.' Nathan thought as he then sighed.
