trouble in paradise

"everybody listen up, were agents sent by Lord Aeris, so don't obstruct our business... now as for you tavern master!!!!! give us half the money you've earned this week." One of the three men said with a wild smile smashing a table in two. "Hey Lilly, I think we have a robbery!!" Elias said to lilly who was still under the influence of alcohol.

"I can't pay you that, last week you took quarter and I wasn't able to pay my bills and even eat properly, please I beg of you." The tavern master cried out to the agent of Lord Aeris. "Oh you're right i can't take half, give us Seventy percent or I'll burn this place to the ground." The middle man said with a grin walking up to the tavern master.

"Please, I beg you...if I give you seventy precent there won't be anything left for me to open up tomorrow!!" The tavern master cried out but his pleading fell on deaf ears as the middle man held the tavern master by the throat lifting him up from the ground. "Alright, alright I'll give you." The tavern master said as he found himself crashing hard on the ground. "This is what I hate the most in my life, when the strong bullies the weak it pisses me off, I was wrong glamour city is way better than this place, it's rotten to the core." Elias said as he stood up from his seat walking up to the three men.

"What's wrong with you kid get out my way!" One of the three men said in rage as Elias just laughed putting on a wry smile. "This place became my favourite since today, so it would be bad to see it closeup because of your greed for money, so do me a favour an scurry on out of here while you still have the chance to do it without a scratch!" Elias warner sitting close to the tavern master while ordering for a glass of wine.

"That's it kid, we're not supposed to involve trash like you in our business but it can't be helped now, teach him a lesson!" The middle man said to the other two as they rushed towards Elias who had this unfazed look on his face. As the two men rushed towards Elias, he got up from the chair reality warping behind the leader of the gang giving him a neck chop which knocked him out cold.

"Such speed, is he human?" People in the tavern began to wonder as they watched Elias easily took out the Boss of the agents. "Hey look at that badge on his waist, he's an S rank adventurer we can't deal with him, were just C ranks!" One of the two remaining men said attempting to run away but Elias appeared front of him with a flick to the fore head sending him crashing out of the tavern walls unconscious.

"Since you're the only one left, tell your so called Lord Aeris that lord Elias interrupted his business.... Come on Lilly it's time to visit the royal palace!" Elias said in a high voice taking her by the hand. "So he's also a noble, that would make things easier for us, after all being beat up by a noble would be less embarrassing."

[At the Kings royal palace late at night]

Elias and lilly had took their time to wear something fancy in other to blend in with the crowd, but it seemed they had did more than just blend in, they stuck out from the rest of them. The moment they stepped into the palace, the air around changed, everybody had their eyes fixated on them that some nobles had even come to ask them but he had refused them gently.

"Now that the special occasion has began the royal family shall now arrive, give praise to the king, the queen, princess Sasha and lord Aeris who is the king's personal assistant as well as his knight."

The king, queen, princess and his Aide Lord Aeris walked out from a huge door as they gently took their seat in the high table, shortly after the king stood up to give a brief speech on the occasion. "As you all know today my daughter turn eighteen but that's not all, I'm announcing the engagement of my special Aide, Lord Aeris, he's going to be engaged to one of the most beautiful woman this kingdom has to offer, the sword saint." The king said as the sword saint who was now dressed in a silver glittering long gown walked into the room and stood slightly behind Lord Aeris.

"it's she, it looks like she's getting married to the so called Lord Aeris, what a waste....That look on her face....I figured as much, she isn't getting married by choice..look at that disgusting smile on his face, it's the first time meeting him but I already hate him." Elias thought to himself as he slowly drank from the glass of wine on his hand.

Time flew by as everyone was doing something or the other, just as Elias was walking towards the sword saint he had mistakingly bumped into another noble. "You how dare you, can't you watch where you're going, which family do you belong to anyway, such lack of elegance, a waste for a noble status." The noble said with an annoyed look on his face.

"Oh I'm sorry I bumped into you, but you see I'm a commoner so you can save your disappointment for another noble." Elias reacted with a pat on his shoulder. "A commoner, who brought a loose slave here?" The noble asked in fury looking for Elias master.

"What's wrong with you nobles!?! I only said I was a commoner not a slave, so don't mistake me for one or else I'll kill you." Elias said with a serious Tone attempting to walk away but was stopped by the noble. "Such disrespect, you're only a mere commoner and yet you speak with such high voice, I admire your courage but you messed with the wrong noble ....Come forth Silver tailed wolf." The noble said calling out it's summon. "Wow an A rank monster, it sure is beautiful, oh I'm scared!" Elias said with so much enthusiasm that it looked like he was really scared.

"You better be scared, commoners who don't know their place deserve to die!".... "wait a minute, that's Elias, in that case no need for me to interfere, I doubt if that monster would be able to hurt him." The sword saint thought to her self as she stared with curiosity looking forward to what's gonna happen next.

"So, you want me to fight back or what?" Elias asked in pitty for the arrogant noble.
