Battle After Battle

"They really have it out for the enemy." He though to himself, staying at a far distance while staring at the soldiers.

"Not what I'm here for though." Taking a short look again at the burning village, he ran away.

Venator looked around while running through the field, trying to hear and see for any signs of another battle ensuing.

Pillars of ice rose upwards, visible even from afar while fire flew around in the air. Venator stopped, seeing the chaotic magic being thrown around.

Arriving at the site, he readied his sword and fire. Soldiers desperately fought off against magic users and their fellow soldiers, the battle quickly becoming a losing fight for Bellunamien's army.

With a deep breath. Venator rushed down towards the battlefield, streaks of fire flew from his hand while his sword stayed ready. The flames landed on a few soldiers, setting them aflame like pyres, more of the force began turning towards Venator, some began charging while most stood frozen, confused on what to do next as Venator charged further.

Bodies fell as Venator finally reached the field. With the flame, he opened a large hole through the once formed up army. He ran at the mages, slashing them before they could respond.

Confusion began around the soldiers as many began running away in fear while the remaining mages fought back, getting killed quickly.

Soon, the fight came to an abrupt end. Bellunamien's soldiers looked while armored fighters ran in fear.

A green aura glowed from his hand, wounds sustained on Venator's body began disappearing slowly, burns and slash marks slowly disappeared as Venator looked more visibly fatigued with each passing second.

Soldiers stared at him in shock, unsure of what to do, kill him? Let him be? They stared in awe of the battle they were once fighting in suddenly shift.

They all stared frozen. The sudden roar of a horn shook them where they stood, Venator looked forward to the sound. From a hill, a massive volley of arrows were sent upwards into the sky. Venator looked surprised.

Sheathing his sword, his hands began glowing blue. From the earthy ground, ice began rising. Quickly rising from the ground, surrounding the entire army and Venator as he raised his hands upward, feeling the rest of his energy begin dwindling.

The dome completed just as the hail of arrows slammed into it, Shattering and splintering upon impact, falling to the side while the soldiers remained unharmed, their shields above their heads.

Their shields lowered upon realizing what has formed above them. Looking at the dome above them and at Venator in disbelief.

Venator felt the extreme fatigue slam into him while he knelt down on both knees.

"This thing better work." Grabbing the bottle, with a twist on the cap he began drinking it. The taste of grape wine hit his tongue immediately, wanting him to continue drinking until the bottle became empty.

As the final drop fell into his mouth, he felt an extreme surge of enemy, the fatigue going away almost immediately.

He stood up in a jolt, his hand flared up in orange while he held a blade in the other.

"This thing really is good! Thank you wine god!" Venator shouted out.

His body felt nearly lightweight, everything nearly seemed slow while he moved around.

The volley ceased, leaving a pile of shattered arrows around the dome. With a new force to fight, Venator snapped his fingers, shards of ice fell all around while he stared at the silhouettes.

"Another force, ain't this just lucky." He began sprinting towards the force, no longer feeling tired nor the weight of his own body.

As he ran, volleys of arrows flew directly at him.

Pillars of ice sprouted from the earth, rising high upwards as Venator hid behind them, waiting for each volley to finish.

He slowly advanced forward, leaving pillars of ice in his wake as he continued trying to move forward, running and hiding behind newer pillars, the advance was slower but he gained ground rapidly as he neared them. The energy inside Venator sped on, having drunk the entire bottle of it's contents.

The final volley charged straight at him, hiding behind a pillar, he felt as ice began being chipped away in chunks, arrows flying on both sides striking the ground or flying upwards.

The flames met their target, quickly beginning to clear the formation of archers that were once raining down death on Venator and Belluniamien's army. He continued spreading the fire all around, hitting more of the enemy while the ground they stood on became charred black.

A lone man stood while the remaining few ran, a bow in hand he stared at Venator, quiver half empty. Both his hands

Venator stared back with a sense of readiness, ready to make a move with a fist of red fire and a sharp blade in the other.

After seconds of silence, Venator charged straight ahead. In surprise the figure leapt back, with his bow, an arrow let out. The arrow struck Venator's chest, causing him to stop. A streak of fire retaliated at the user while he ran around, trying to land a hit as the flames continued chasing him in circles.

As he ran, he began grabbing the tips of his arrows, clenching them as a blue aura hovered above.

His arrowheads became enveloped in ice, sharp and ready to be fired.

Venator tore off the arrow, ceasing the fire to return attacking. The fire of his hand dissipated, replaced by ice once more upon the attack.

The user let loose an arrow at Venator, tipped in ice.

Another pillar rose quick from the ground in front of Venator as he stared straight at them, an arm extended forward.

The arrow slammed into the ice with great force, beginning to push deeper into the pillar before stopping, halfway through the ice pillar itself.

Venator stared back at the user, his hand hovering on the quiver, turning the rest of the arrowheads into ice.

"An ice user, so that's how he uses that power." He commented, staring at the lodged arrow.
