"Maya stop" my mother called after me. I ignored her and picked up my car key then headed to the garage.
"My princess, can you hear me out? She asked holding my hands and stopping me from getting into my car.
"What mom? Do you want me to listen to the bullshit you have to say? For goodness sake, you yelled at me in front of that witch and you even asked me to apologize. You of all people. I don't even get why you're becoming nice to that woman" I let out my frustrations.
"That's the problem, Maya. You know I also hate her. I feel like killing her whenever I see her but I can't Maya. I cannot maltreat her because Xander threatened to wipe out our family if any complaint is given to him. There's nothing we could do about it, Maya.
