Chapter 24: Bold Ambition
“He is actually a retired army general and he refused to accept the fact that his flourishing career had come to an end,” Lexi responded.
“An army general like my dad!” Raul exclaimed. Raul’s father was working in the national army as a general and he also owned furniture shops around the world, where he had people in charge. “So how did he become an eagle?” Raul asked excitedly.
“He felt that he would not sit at home aging and living on his memories,” Lexi explained. “So, he is the first person who actually volunteered to become a bird.”
“And what does he do as an eagle? Can he resume his work in the army in any way?” Raul asked, his heart racing with excitement.
“He can now do what he was not able to do in the past,” Lexi explained further. “He can now spy on others and use the information for his own excitement and curiosity. Also, the more knowledge and information he gains, the longer he lives.”
