It took me a few hours to study the books and make notes in my notebook. Meanwhile, I managed to get some food from the supermarket near me, so I finally made some coffee and ate breakfast while studying. In the end, when I had an hour before my shift at the nightclub, I sat in my bed and started reading what I had written, by answering the questions.
[— Who's Alpha? Alpha is the main male wolf in a Pack, he is considered to be the leader of the Pack, so he takes all responsibility for finding the best territory for his Pack, and cares about them during his so-called reign. However, Alpha can't be alone. He should have a mate who's called Luna, also he has Beta, Gamma, and Omega wolves who help him to handle the Pack. While Beta and Gamma are wolves who can have mates, Omega is a lonely wolf without a mate.]
[— Can wolves live in the city? Definitely not, if only they aren't actually wolves.]
[— How wolves and humans are connected? There are legends about humans bitten by wolves, who became werewolves. Humans early believed in two types of werewolves: shifters, who can turn into werewolves at any time, and those who depend on the moon, so they can turn only when it's full.]
[— Why do eyes change? It can be a part of a transformation. When they are affected by strong emotions, their wolves can take control over their human bodies, so not even well-trained werewolves can always control the transformation.]
[— Why did Aiden's eyes change to amber? The color of werewolves' eyes depends on the Alpha wolf's eye color. There are three known werewolves' eyes color: red, blue, and amber.]
I closed the notebook, took a deep breath, then opened it and looked again at what I have written there. Werewolves? Transformation? Do they mean those wolves whom I have seen in the city and Aiden himself are werewolves? Does it mean I managed to get to the city of werewolves? I put the notebook back in my purse, then tried to get my diary out of it when I found out it was missing. Wait, when did it happen that I lost my notebook?
I sighed; it could have fallen out of my purse when I bumped into Aiden. Does it mean my diary with all the secret information is lying there, on the streets, or Aiden was attentive and grabbed it? Would he read it or keep it closed? I took a deep breath…
Too many questions make my head hurt, so I stood up and went to the shower. It's time to prepare for my second shift.

"Aiden…" Chris called me from the slightly opened door, and I looked at my Gamma. I always wondered how different Chris's dark skin color could be depending on the light. Now in the dim light, his skin seemed to be as dark as black chocolate, but sometimes when he's under the sunlight, he's more like coffee with milk.
"Come in…" He came in after I allowed him and put a belt of one of those strangers who offended Letty on my table.
"I sniffed the belt of that one who escaped and found out that those guys might live in an abandoned territory near us… Probably temporarily, I think they are a so-called Pack we didn't know about…"
"Wait, what? Are they living on the forbidden territory of the Black Forest Pack?"
"It seems so. The territory is too big, so I don't sniff too far. I need some reinforcement," Chris looked down, and I suddenly had an idea in my mind. If they live in this territory, and Chris thinks they're the Pack we didn't know about, they must have sniffed something about Letty and her belonging to James Black. Do they want their Alpha to marry Letty to take the territory of her father's Pack? Nevertheless, as far as I know, it's impossible.
"What should we do?" Chris took my attention back.
"We should sniff more on their territory, also we need to find out where's James's hut when he and Letty lived until he died. I don't remember the path to the hut, unfortunately. It was deep in the forest without any indications," I shrugged, "I'll ask Mark's and Victor's sniffers' teams to help us. Give me a day or two to handle it."
"Fine. Anything else?" Chris asked, looking at me and waiting for any orders. I nodded negatively, then looked at a watch on my left wrist.
"You can be free. It's time to go to the nightclub, maybe that one who escaped will get there for Letty, if she's his goal," I said and stood up, looking around for my jacket. Chris disappeared on the staircase, leaving me alone with a maze of my thoughts.

I grabbed my purse and looked in the mirror at my reflection. Today I had a black pencil skirt, a black organza blouse, and black stilettos. My rose-red hair was tied in a ponytail. I turned around and went outside, straight to the nightclub, when I caught a dark-brown wolf looking at me from the bushes on the other side of the hotel. I looked closely again, seeing my eyesight sharpen, and I was able to notice his deep amber eyes. The same Aiden had yesterday when he was protecting me from those bad guys. So, if to believe this is the city of werewolves, that one should be from Aiden's Pack, due to his ember eyes. However, one fact was still unclear to me, if I believe that this is the city of werewolves, WHY AM I STILL HERE? Am I not scared?
{Am I crazy, or am I one of them?}
I turned away from the wolf in the bushes and went alongside the street, down to the nightclub.
It took me a few minutes to get to my workplace, then I entered the building and saw Rick working at the bar, and Catherine talking to him. I looked up at the balcony in an attempt to see Aiden, but it was empty. Might be he'll not be here today, or he just hasn't arrived. Though, if he'll arrive, will I ask him such strange questions?
{Hi, Aiden, I wanted to ask…do you believe in werewolves?} I thought and laughed, it sounds ridiculous, isn't it?
"Hi, Letty!" Someone said behind my back, so I turned around and saw Bella. She just came in with a folder of silver color in her hand. I immediately remembered the fact that ancient people believed werewolves can be killed by silver. However, it was neither proved nor rejected as well as the existence of werewolves or vampires…
"Hi, Bella, nice to see you," I smiled at her and went further as well as she did. Her black jeans and dark green blouse were making a good match with her black and green sneakers. She smiled at me, then grabbed my elbow, leading me away from the bar.
"How was your first day yesterday? I heard the boss couldn't keep his eyes off you!" She whispered as if she didn't want anyone to hear her spreading rumors. However, I'm not sure if it was the rumors.
"He saved me from some rude strangers," I said, trying to not blush and look like it's normal for a boss to take care of his work so much. Bella suddenly looked around, then smiled at me.
"Yeah, you're right. I heard about those crazy guys. That's good Aiden was there," she stroked my shoulder as if sharing some support, then went to the bar, took Catherine and they both disappeared on the stairs.
"You lost it today," I turned around to see Aiden standing almost behind me and holding my diary with a silver cover in his hand. I took the diary and blushed.
"I hope, you haven't opened it…," I said, blushing, then turned around and put the diary in the purse.
"No. It's a private thing, isn't it?"
"Kind of," I nodded, then looked at him again. His eyes were as usual blue and brown, and there was no sign of that amber color I saw today. I opened my mouth, but he was the first one to start talking.
"Let's go to my office, I have something important to tell you," he said and went upstairs, so I followed him.
This time, I haven't even paid attention to the magic wall revealing his secret office and didn't even manage to blink when we were inside. He offered me to take a seat, while he remained standing and looking through the window to the almost full moon.
"Those guys who offended you were all found by my friends. We put them in jail, and currently, we're trying to understand their behavior and what should we do with them. But, two of them managed to escape from us yesterday, one was caught by us today with your help. The other one is still missing, so if you ever see him, anywhere, run and try to text me, so I can come and help."
Aiden turned around and put the card with his number on the table near me, then sat down. I looked at him from head to toe, then sighed and took all my bravery to ask a question that was bothering me all this time.
"Do you believe in werewolves?"
Hi guys, I hope you like this story. Aiden and Letty are my first and most favorite book characters, I like them a lot that's why I'm so intensive in getting any reaction from you. Tell me what you think about them?
