I wake up sweating heavily and gasping for air,i've been having these nightmares ever since my mom went missing a year ago.

My childhood wasn't exactly a good one,my father was an alcoholic and would physically and mentally abuse my mother on a daily basis,my twin brother was the only one i could talk to until he got sent to an all boys boarding school when i was 12.

My mom mysteriously went missing when i was 17 and i didn't want to live alone with my father so i moved into my own appartement a few months later.I studied hard and got a scholarship to the best university in my city,i feel like i'm finally going somewhere in life,i feel like things might get better...
