Chapter 9: For The Greater Good

In the tower library, a short silver-haired boy can be seen sitting in the lap of a beautiful white-haired woman. The boy was immersed in a book and regularly asked his doubts to the girl.

"What if we use the mana-gathering rune in series with the mana-purifying one but instead of mana stones, the connection to the mana-gathering rune is used as a fuel?"

"It's not that we cannot do that but we need a constant supply of the same concentration of mana for the purifying rune to work, this can only be achieved through mana stones." Explained Celia.

"Then, if I create a rune for maintaining the concentration, will it work?"

"Many have tried, but we cannot accommodate the rune with another rune unless you become rune grandmaster, for this, you can contact Violet but she is busy with repairing Tower's runes."

"Wait, they are still not repaired?"

"Dear, the damage was caused due to overusing the fuel and the tower's locomotive functions were damaged. At least a couple more years are required for the tower to just move within this world, as extra-terrestrial travel will take more time."

"Well, I am looking forward to it," replied Aurelius with a happy smile as he leaned back resting his head on Celia's bountiful chest.

"Have you decided how the tower will work in the future?"

"Well, as a tower heir or the future tower master, I need to recruit more people for the Tower. I know various research projects and functions of the tower are not working because of the scarcity of people and it is already too hard for you guys.

The problem is that people here are born with chakra, so I cannot do anything unless we leave this world."

"You are right but are you forgetting that you were also born with chakra."

"But I had special privileges."

"You can also use them for thousands of people, it's just that, for them, it will take more time and it will only purify them of their chakra and not rid of everybody's impurity. Also, it will take double the amount of time when compared to you."

"But we don't have that much time, you know how dangerous this world is."

"Yes, but what about the time chamber, even if you choose the time to move 10 times faster, we can use the time chamber for at least 3 years."

"Why don't I use the time chamber too?"

"You can, but then I won't be able to see the cute phase of yours. Only people in pairs of three can enter the time chamber and you can come outside after at least one year has spent, so you would have to spend at least two years inside the chamber or 10 years if you go for the maximum factor."

"Ohh, that would be bad, I would have taken you and another one of the celestials but then the tower won't be able to work for the next year and being alone for a year is not something I want."

"Don't worry dear, your talent is enough, you don't need to worry about time."

"Umm, but I have already found a plan. This shinobi world is too cruel. I will change this world and there is also my little revenge and if possible I will save my mother and sister."

A glimpse into the future:

Multiple screens can be found all around Konoha, Suna, Iwa, Kumo, Kiri, Kusu, Tanzaku and every major city in the elemental nations.

On the screen, a teenage figure, with shiny silver hair and golden eyes can be seen giving a speech. The eloquence mesmerized everyone who heard the speech.

In the Konoha arena, where the boy was giving a speech, the final stage of chunnin exams was meant to be held.

However, before the chunnin exams began, a barrier appeared around the ground, and a teenage boy held the central stage.

Various Kages were also present, a deviation occurred from the normal timeline. All five major ninja villages agreed to have joint chunnin exams rather than only Suna. All five Kages were present in the VIP box.

Many people including shinobis from all the villages were charmed by his words, they all wanted to join the boy.

A fierce Blue fire appeared around the ground, no one wanted to cross it. The blue flames danced and followed the gestures of the boy. The scene was visible in every village.

"This is my final test, join me, those who cross these flames are those chosen for the future, our future."

A figure jumped out of the seats. He walked towards the flames but the flames didn't do anything. He crossed the flames and was welcomed by the boy.

Seeing this, many others wanted to jump and they did. Quite a few of them were unharmed and they went and stood by his side. The Kages sent some of their own shinobis, to work as a spy but as soon as those with malicious intent or those who wanted to harm the boy even touched the flames, they were burnt to ashes.

This infuriated them. But among the Kages, one was infatuated by the teenager. Yes, it was Terumi Mei, she wanted to join the boy, not because of his looks, but because she believed in his cause. She went ahead, Kages thought she wanted to test the waters and many Kiri anbus wanted to stop her. But when she came into contact with the fire, she passed safely but her anbu guards were burnt.

This surprised various Kages, by the time they knew the nature of the fire and no Nijutsus or any jutsu would work on it, not even the fire-sealing seals.

Only those who truly wanted to join the boy's cause can cross the fire and they were horrified that the newly elected Mizukage wanted to join this unknown boy and abandoned Kiri.

"Why are you doing this, what is your purpose for this?" shouted Hiruzen Sarutobi

This time, rather than ignoring the Hokage, the teenager responded.

"Didn't I tell you before, this is all For The Greater Good."
