Calix didn't expect to receive a continuation of the dream because he hadn't experienced it in the past few days. When he opened his eyes, he found himself standing opposite a stove and stirring a pot of soup.
'Why did this happen again?'
Staring at the bubbles popping on the soup, Calix couldn't help but think how bizarrely real these dreams were. He also discovered some changes that didn't happen in his first one.
In the first dream, Calix could act freely in moving or speaking. But, in the following ones, he felt as if someone else controlled his body despite still being able to think himself.
For example, what he was currently experiencing in this dream.
"Honey, your jacket's dry already. Perfect for your trip tomorrow."
The familiar voice of the unfamiliar woman echoed from behind. Calix turned around and smiled fondly at her, an action not driven by his own instincts.
"Thank you, sweetheart. I forgot to do it yesterday."
