Flustered, Leslie quietly made her way downstairs until she reached the first floor. Standing opposite Calix, she smiled awkwardly. His countenance beamed in joy, expressing his delight for tonight's plan.
"You're a perfect match with this dress," Calix tapped his chin, once again praising Leslie, "I wanted to get something pink for you but, this one caught my eyes."
"Oh... I love it," Leslie's lips melted into a smile, her heart pounding with excitement, "I didn't expect to get another dress from you though. Thank you."
Calix grinned, soft chuckles slipping out of his mouth. He eyed Leslie from head to toe, noticing how lovely she looked with her cheeks blushing.
"It's a gift from your husband. I'm glad to hear that," Calix raised one hand, presenting his palm to Leslie, "May I lead you to the yard, my lady?"
Leslie blinked, her heart skipped a beat before ramming hard against her chest.
