The Result

Archer came to visit Blake at the hospital. There were a lot of things that required Blake's approval, but he had not been at work for almost two weeks. However, Archer's visit today was not related to work, it was about Blake's attack case.

Idora's lawyer had been trying to contact Blake as Idora wanted to meet him and apologise, but he didn't answer the calls or accept any visitation requests. Instead, he spent the past two weeks staying by Marissa's side. He had locked himself in her hospital room and had made it feel like his second home.

"Sir," Archer bowed slightly, but Blake did not respond. "Max, Idora's lawyer has been trying to reach you, but—" Archer trailed off when he heard an annoyed sigh from Blake.

Clearing his throat and straightening his posture, Archer continued, "I'm sorry to disturb you, but sir, they are requesting to settle the case out of court."
