A new journey

The next morning sil and Jack got out of the void standing in a corner of the town hall with a roomful of adventurers and soldiers collecting money from the receptionist.

Sil started stretching while watching the adventurers collect there money some started staring at Sil but when they seen Scar they turned away,Scar hight was alone intimidating with just a glance you could tell he was strong. A adventurer walked into the town hall a man with white hair,white robe with a giant white sword on his back.

When he entered the building the man could smell Scar's forsaken blood, he was about to grab his sword but he seen a 8ft tall woman wearing a tight black suit with two bone daggers to on her sides.

"You should get that forsaken one a new smell. He reeks, that's illegal were I come from." The man said continuing to walk over to the receptionist.

Sil was about to say something but Jack grabbed her hand. "That man is a holy knight, He hunts forsaken ones, he's dangerous." Jack said in a worried voice, Making sil smile snatching her hand away from him.

"Take scar into the town to sell anything worth of value, I'm going to talk with that man." She said in a stern tone,sending a shiver down jacks spine also making scar chuckle at jacks reaction.

Sil walked away from Jack and scar toward the receptionist. The man with white hair noticed sil walked over so he turned around putting one hand over his head grabbing the hilt of his sword.

Sil started smiling "I didn't come over here to fight but I will defend myself if you try to swing that hunk of steel at me."

The man released his sword putting out a hand toward Sil. "Sorry about that, I thought your forsaken friend sent you over here to kill me. The name is Zack." He said with a smile, Sil shook his hand "the name is Sil,do you mind explaining what you meant get a new smell?"

"O ah that… it was just some friendly advice your friend I could smell him from outside. you should visit the black market if you have the coin that is, look for forsaken cover up." He said whispering the last sentence.

Sil nodded her head making sure not to forget to go to the black market at some point. "You seem new around here mind if I get you a drink?" zack asked as he got his money from the receptionist.

Sil looked the man up and down."what's your lowest attribute?"she asked looking down on Zack.

Zack didn't know why she asked but still answered anyways."my lowest attribute is king, I just got it there a mouth or so ago. my master always told me your as weak as your lowest attribute."

"Sounds like a smart man. I guess I'll let you buy me a drink but you have to answer some more of my questions."she said while walking out of the town hall with with Zack."of course, I have questions of my own I would like to ask." Zack said leading the way to his favorite bar in town.

Meanwhile Scar and Jack were walking around town selling anything they could from scars void space, fortunately the bore hide sold for a good amount. they also sold the advance crystals that the gorillas dropped. Both Jack and scar killed 10 gorillas each so they had 20 beast crystals but only sold 10, scar thought sil might want to look at them first.

"Selling everything we could got us 20 silver coins." Jack said with a sigh."is that good?" Scar asked while looking at all the different shops the town had.

"your a beast I don't know why I expected you to know how money works." He said shacking his head. "It works like this copper,silver,gold then platinum, if you see rich people they will use giant coins which are worth 500 of whatever the coin is made out of." Jack explained as they made it back to the town hall not seeing sil, Jack walked over to brick who was cleaning his weapon.

"Yo have you seen that tall woman go anywhere by chance?" Jack asked scratching the back of his head smiling. Brick turned to Jack looking him up and down."you look familiar…. but I won't pry, I saw sil go to a bar with one of the holy knights, I don't know which one but my guess would be the bores hat inn on the other side of town." He answered turning back to his axe continuing to clean it.

Jack facepalmed before exiting the building with scar close behind."what's wrong with the man In white. I think our master can handle herself, don't get punished doing something foolish." Scar warned as he was staring back at the people staring at him making them look away, making scar laugh at their fear.

Hearing punished sent a shivers down his spine.

"Maybe your right, but I would still would like to see what she wants us to do." He said heading toward the other side of town.

Meanwhile sil and Zack were sitting at the bar drinking out of giant mugs asking each other questions,till a bulky adventure walked over. "Hay red, I bet you would have more fun with me then one of the popes dogs." He said pointing at Zack.

"Your ruining my drink leave before I break you nose." She demanded not looked at the man, making the man walk away with a sourer taste in his mouth.

Zack looked at Sil with a raised eyebrow, " I didn't think you would handle the situation that easily." He said taking a sip from his mug. This made Sil smile,"Do you take me for a damsel in distress?" She asked finishing her drink, but the bartender quickly filled her cup making sil raise a eyebrow.

"Holy knights get free drinks, sometime the bartenders are cool and they give the plus one free drinks too. And you damsel in distress? I can't see that, the soldiers have been talking about you and your friends clearing out the town of advanced beasts,you did my job for me." He said letting the bartender fill his cup for the 3rd time.

Sil was starting to feel the liquor by the 4th mug then she got a system message.

[A non deadly substance has entered your body you can counteract this substance with mana healing]

This made sil smile usually liquor was known as a poison that needed to be countered but not anymore.

"Alright Zack how about a little drinking contest?" She asked with a sly smile making Zack turn to her with a eyebrow raised. "Im going to warn you I have a high tolerance are you sure you want that?" He said with a cocky smile.

Sil turned to the bartender." How much booze are you willing to let us drink?" She asked looking around at the vacant bar. "You saved my daughter from a couple of broken bones. you can drink everything in the bar I'm restocking tomorrow anyways." He said cleaning a glass with a white cloth.

The bartender answer made sil and Jack look at each other with a smile before they started drinking anything and everything in the bar.

Jack and scar entered the bar to see Sil and Zack talking to each other with the last of the bars booze in their mug. "Im sorry to interrupt master what would you like us to do next." Jack asked with a light bow not showing his face to Zack.

"Jack the ripper! it's been a while since we last met and you have a new cover up? That doesn't matter though because we're going to be traveling together for the next couple days." Zack said not turning back finishing up the booze in his cup.

Jack's head shot up he was about to say something but Sil cut him off. "He is are guide to forge theft. I don't care if you a problem with it it's already done."She said in a stern tone slurring her words just a little."on a different note we're heading out tomorrow! How much money did you make us Jack?"she asked in a more cheerful tone turning to Jack with a big smile.

Jack always admired Sil's body but seeing her with a genuine smile made her look even more beautiful.

Jack's mind went bank for a moment then he felt dumb for even worrying for a second. Jack walked over to Zack about to hand out for a handshake but before he could m, Zack grabbed the hilt of his sword.

But Jack still continued the the gesture,

"I'm genuinely sorry about the way we meet, I'm sure you were just taking orders and I was just defending myself." He said with a smile. Zack turn around smacking his hand away."I don't care for your apology don't get in my way Jack." Zack said walking away before Sil stoped him by putting a hand on his shoulder.

"That sounded like a pretty good apology to me if we're going to be traveling together we should clear the air." Sil said before letting go of Zack's shoulder.

Zack turned to sil."do you know who this man is? He's killed hundreds" Zack said before being interrupted by Jack."I've only killed 47 humans in my life time and I promise you I remember all of them. Joshua,Alex,Morgan,Megan well I could continue but you get what I'm saying. I haven't killed anyone that didn't deserve it or they were after my head." Jack explained throwing pure white dog tags at Zack's feet.

Zack turned toward Jack kneeling down picking up the dog tags reading them,Jack continued. "Those two I'll will never forget,they we warriors to the very end hunting me mouths nearly killing me." But before Jack could continue Zack punch a hole in the wood floor with his mana seeping from his body making Sil step in front of Jack.

"not another work Jack" he said throwing a bag of money on the bar before walking toward the door, before he left he said "same place we agreed on sil."

Sil patted Jack on the back"good job" she said grabbing her mug finishing her drink then turned to scar."how much bore meat did you sell?" She asked getting closer to scar. "We saved 4 bore corpses with the hide you skinned,we also only sold 10 out of 20 advanced beast crystals." He said looking up at sil.

(Scar is a 15ft bear standing on his back legs which he preferred to walk on his back legs so when entering building he's forced to be on all fours)

Sil started petting scars head "good job i knew I could relay on you. And thank you Jack for showing scar the ropes." She said stumbling a little toward the exit.

"You should go with her. Her and that holy knight drank everything in the bar,now I have to close up early." He said while laughing.

Scar and Jack ran after sil who was already walking toward the forest."what are we doing today master?" Scar asked catching up to sil with Jack close behind.

Sil pointed to the forest "it's time to hunt! and maybe get a new comrade." She said healing herself removing all the alcohol from her system.

Removing so much alcohol from her system felt like night and day making her walk steady and her body feel light.

"So I'm guessing that Zack told you were a dungeon or a gate location is?" Jack asked with a smile ready for the next battle."yah I still don't know the difference between a gate and a dungeon. But we're going to a gate, Zack said if we clear it we can have everything inside. but he gets the credit for clearing it." She said speeding up, now running into the forest.

"A gate is a portal that leads into a dungeon sometimes it could be floor 5 or floor 500. If you want to clear a gate you have to kill the gate keeper.

Dungeons are spawn points for beast they will respawn every 24 hours unless the floor boss then it's 48 hours. If you want to permanently clear the dungeon you have to kill the dungeon boss then the spawn point is broken. Dungeon have anywhere between 200 to 2000 floors." Jack explained as fast as he could, getting in site of the gate.

Arriving at the gate, it looked like a rift in space and time with purple and blue lights through out it.

This gate was a advanced rake gate with 10ft tall gorillas with 6 arms protecting the gate keeper looked like the rest besides a distinct giant red crystal in the middle of his chest.

"This is we're the gorillas that attacked the town came from then?" Sil asked looking at Jack who was staring at the gate keeper. "Yes it is, When they have enough protecting the gate they send some to find food or hunt humans." Jack answered not taking his eyes off the gate keeper.

"Do you want that one?" Sil asked in a sinister tone making Jack smile. "I would" he answered charging towards the gorillas jumping on the gorillas one by one making his way to the gate keeper.
