Wild Sin

Taryn, a female wolf shifter first encounters Trey, an alpha male shifter with a dangerous reputation, she strifes to resist his charms. Moreover, Trey- who was only fourteen when he defeated his father in a duel, earning him the right to lead his pack- has nothing to offer the gifted healer aside trouble. She finds herself having an instant infatuation, courtesy of Trey's forceful demeanor. She eventually decides to join an alliance with him. If they both succeeds in convincing their various packs that they've decided to mate, Trey will win valuable political allies, while Taryn will escape an odious arranged mating. However, there are lots of possibility that the plan could fail- which includes the possibility that the wolf shifters, overwhelmed by their unending feelings for each others, will lack the potential to carry out their deception to the fullest.

Chapter 6

She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. “My dad’s not stupid, unfortunately. He knows I don’t want to be mated to Roscoe. If I walk up to him and say ‘Hey dad, guess what, it turns out my true mate’s not dead and I found him’ he’s going to accuse me of trying to play him.”

“And that’s why we’ll need to be publically seen to ‘discover’ each other. Maybe at one of the shifter clubs. No one other than my wolves will know we’ve met before that claiming.”

Okay that was a good idea. But would it work?

Taryn stifled the urge to groan as indecision wracked her mind and body. Her wolf wasn’t undecided. Oh no. With her elemental nature, her wolf wasn’t interested in details or problems, she was only interested in whether Trey was a potential mate. She liked his confidence, his determination, his heavy air of dominance, and she absolutely loved his scent. Her wolf was totally fine with letting Trey mark her. In fact, she was craving it. Not good.
