16. Run

Benjamin stood there fazed. He couldn't understand why Priscilla just killed a fellow human being with ease. The more he looked at her the more he wanted to just kill her. But his body felt so weak to do so.

Clara was about to move then suddenly Priscilla zoomed into their direction with the scissors aiming right towards neck. Priscilla was at first nervous of what she needed to do but after killing Erene, she had come to like the feeling of stabbing. She charged forward a good distance of just 1 meter from the door.

Unintentionally Clara spotted the movement of the scissors coming at her. Her heart began to accelerate. Her body responded to her reflexes enabling her to dodged the attack by bending over while her opponent's scissors whips horizontally over her body.

Priscilla's scissors just went past Clara, because of the speed, she moved forward passing just in front of Clara.

Clara saw an opportunity for their flee and happily grabbed it by using all the strength she had left to punch Priscilla in the face, sending her straight towards the wall. As her back slammed into the wall, the sharp edges of the scissors sliced in between her fingers giving her a nice clean cut.

" Security!!!!!" She screamed after experiencing the little pain. "Don't allow those two kids to leave the building just yet, they murdered Erene and tried to murder me too" She cried the moment she saw the security guards passing by.

The guards came to stand inside the room instantly. The guards didn't wait for any explanations before they threw themselves straight at the two teenagers.

Clara's body got faster in a matter of seconds. Strange to her she felt as if everything was slowing down. But that didn't mean she was just going to stand and anticipate things. She gently slammed her feet into the first guard's head then used strength to lift the wardrobe and then she crashed it against the second one's face. The sudden impact of the attack caused the guards to hit their backs against the window.

After everything was clear she pulled Benjamin behind her than quickly left the room with fast paced steps.

" Why are we running ?"

Benjamin asked unsure after he remembered seeing Priscilla stabbing that nurse and instead of the guards arresting her, they were chasing them rather.

" Because we are escaping and we are also patients!" Clara responded. " Now hurry" They made their way to the wide alley that leads to the entrance running through things like: Stretchers, chairs, people, cupboards, files. The two tenagers had already destroyed one of the labor patients' beds while they ran. Because of the current speed Clara was using to pull Benjamin they never saw that.

Pictures of what Co-nian did with his body appeared in his mind one by one as the air rushed in his face. Then he was able to hear what the men said. "Turn Clara into something useful" So is this what they meant by that? Even Benjamin was surprised at how fast Clara was pulling him.

Priscilla wasn't certain that the security guards could actually capture those two. She didn't want to lose such a huge amount her friend died for. She took out her phone. After having dealt with the punch, she started thinking deeply.

The police would be the best choice to send after those patients. Simply because most of the police present in her town were almost all corrupted. All she had to do was to just bribe the detective and everything would go her way. Even though the junior ranks might be prickly sometimes, they can't deny the fact that they were restricted on certain bases.

After deep thinking Priscilla called.

Officer : This is 911, the police service , what is your emergency?"

"Hello officer" Priscilla started crying

"Two insane patients just killed a nurse and tried to kill me too. I am located at the Hospital close to the amusement park. Hurry up, they are running from the crime scene."

Officer : Can you describe what they look like? Give me anything you know about their appearance. "

" The girl had following sunrise-golden hair with green eyes and pouting lips and a very beautiful oval face. She had a cute face, a nice dimple…"

Officer: Hello miss, are you describing a criminal or you are describing Cinderella! I don't have time, young lady.

" I am describing her officer. She had a mean looking appearance. Her body was both pale and slime. That's how she looks." Priscilla assured. " Also because they are from the hospital, they are wearing disposable clothes."

" Okay what about her accomplice?" Asked the police woman.

"He's a boy around his teenage years with very weird looking brown hair flowing like water at his back, with a symmetrical face. Most importantly his leg was wounded. "

"Okay I will send my men to your location within 3 minutes."

Meanwhile, At the hospital down stairs. The two patients had made it to the corridor running.

"Hey, stop that girl." A concerned spectator yelled. But Clara couldn't stop herself from pushing the old lady out of their way. She cleared her out of the road like a piece of cake. Not knowing the old lady's weak body had traveled through the air until her body slammed against the walls catching everyone's attention.

Everybody was shocked at the sight. " You two are in danger," One guy wearing blue pants with black shirt, uttered verbally then jumped from the left blocking their path.

"We just want to leave peacefully," Benjamin uttered.

"I don't think so"

Soon after he had finished saying that, he threw himself into Benjamin Reed's direction. His legs were moving with incredible speed aiming to punch Benjamin.

He saw this coming and the moment the man got closer with his punch, using a swift movement Benjamin kicked him right at his jaw. The impact was strong. The man's body couldn't stop moving, rather it moved the opposite direction it once came from until his back hit one of the waiting chairs at the side then his ribs made a crack.

"Did you see how he attacked that man, get him before they kill everybody!!" Four of the security guards appeared just behind the two. They didn't deny the fact that they were twice as surprised at how the small boy was able to eliminate that man so easily.

Two of them sneaked forward when they noticed the kids were just standing there looking at the crowd.

One of them raised his bat and swung it whilst coming into Clara's direction. The murmuring of the crowd made Clara realize someone was behind her. Clara stood there listening carefully at the footsteps behind her back. And as soon as the man got closer, she turned and moved to the side making the guys bat touch nothing!

Benjamin Reeds was a bit amazed at Clara's evasive technique but when he noticed that the guy was about to attack her again. He rushed to the man's side and instantly kicked the man's ankle making his next step miss the ground. Then his body swayed to the left as he fell on the ground and rolled over.

The remaining two guards got vexed instantly. "How can you let this girl beat you like that?"

After the guy that said those, Benjamin came forward and kicked him in his groins really hard. Benjamin swore he heard something bursting. The man could do nothing but cover both of his hands around his aching area while rolling on the ground. With no one blocking him, he went on the road.

"Look! Everybody! Two patients are beating up the security men" Right after the men heard that, they got up despite the pain. Being mocked just because of just two teenagers would ruin their reputation. So they would do whatever it takes to gain their dignities back.

Without warning, A guard rushed and punched Clara in the stomach twice until she fell on the ground. Clara couldn't help but scream. While the man started kicking her hard in her stomach once her back touched the wall. Every time they would kick her in the stomach, the crowd of people would raise their voice indicating that they liked what the men were doing to that girl. Benjamin saw this and quickly rushed to her side. He had tried to move faster but his aching legs wouldn't let him. Little by little he got closer.

Benjamin paused and looked around him, then he saw the stretcher almost Infront of him. With just one push by his legs the stretcher went straight ahead until the metallic part of it hit the one of the guards leg.

Benjamin didn't stand there after that, he rushed to her side and offered Clara a hand. But the moment Clara got up, she went in and grabbed one of the guards bats. She attacked the two remaining with the bat exactly at their stomachs. She doesn't stop even though the people started cursing her. She proceeded until they bled.

"Let's go " Benjamin pulled her when he noticed their actions had attracted a lot of attention. And some of the people were already recording them.

They ran through the entrance of the Hospital. It wasn't long then when they saw the amusement park just opposite the hospital. They headed there without waiting. Only if they knew what awaits them.

They saw a clothing store just at the entrance of the park. It was a shop with lots of teddy bears hanging out. And the size of the shop was almost bigger than the size of a bedroom. The two suspects limped their way towards the shop.

Soon as they neared,

The sweet fragrance of the delicious Sandwiches the man was already eating traveled through their nostrils the instant they reached the shop. "Hello sir" The girl said. " Can you help us? We are very hungry right now and we will love it if you share your food with us". Clara finished looking at the man while placing her hands on the desk. Benjamin was more shocked. 'What made her turn so different?' he thought about it.

The shop owner stared deeply, at them his anger looking them from head to toe.

"You just look at us, we are being chased by people who want to kill us, please help us." Benjamin Reeds added when he noticed Clara's words were not doing any good.

The words of the two innocent children in the Hospital gown, did a number on him, he instantly welcomed them into his small shop container and gave them his food. "Why would some people want you both dead?" The shop owner asked after they had sat down.

Clara's face pointing to the ground she said " Both my parents and my brother died in the Amazon Jungle and on our way we got kidnapped by a mad scientist. He took me and trapped me inside a test tube thanks to Benjamin" She looked in his direction. "I got rescued. But when I woke at the hospital, I found out those people that kidnapped us still want to us"

"Unbelievable, people here have turned evil these days.This town is too big for kids to be walking here alone. I can help you."

Benjamin once glanced at the clothing parked in the shop."We would appreciate it if you kindly gives us something to wear sir"

"Oh sure, don't worry " He tossed them some clothes.

After the two had finished with the clothes, all of a sudden the radio stopped playing the music and started broadcasting a voice announcement.

*Hello Rio, this is Cart Grant, this is an emergency. Just 5 minutes ago, two insane young foreigners just murdered A nurse and injured another patient on their attempt to flee from the hospital. The Police reports say that the suspects successfully fled from the crime scene. Is a boy and a girl.

The boy is about four feet tall and has deep brown hair and most importantly his skin looks Alot pale to vally normal. You might see him wearing bandages. Report immediately if you see anyone as such.

The girl is 3.5 feet tall and her hair is golden hair ( with blood stains inside)

The only clothes they were wearing before they left was the blue patient gowns.

A special agent has also pledged to pay 1 million U S dollars to anyone who brings those two to him.

After the broadcast was done the owner of the shop screamed in excitement.

"Hallelujah….I am going to be rich!"

"But we have not done anything wrong. We are innocent. I swear someone else killed her, not us" Clara said, trying to catch her breath.

"Don't worry, believe you,'' He lied, his gaze never leaving Clara.

Clara asked. "You do?"

" Yes I trust you . I am going to check something at my place and see if all things are settled then I will bring you to my house. You just wait here in my shop " He was planning on calling the corps the moment he got out.

But Just before his head popped out of the shop, a bullet out of nowhere jabbed through his head making blood scatter across the room. He had blocked the red rays that were aiming at Benjamin.
